Thanks for your ideas of making the forum better!

+karma ;)
Thanks for the karma point. How does the karma work. I see that you have alot of it, and clicked positive karma on your profile and yours added. Can you point me to a thread where the karma system is explained.
Sorry for the off topic.

It is enough to have 10 activity to get an opportunity of using links.

Is 1 post = 1 activity?
If so, it means 10 posts is equal to 10 activities and this can be achieved in a day. But I understand the pain of posting unnecessary things even when you do not intend to post in order to be able to reach the rank of posting images. This can be called spamming.

Introducing copper membership would be a good idea, it will help the forum raise fund and also differentiate between ordinary and commercial accounts.

1 post is not always equal to 1 activity. Some posts can never be counted as activity, activity can stop increasing until the account will be old enough, etc. So it correlates but not equal.

As for "copper membership". This is not BTT. Many things are different. Isn't it strange to expect that some features would be implemented right as somewhere else? Why not to add self-checkout also like in some modern stores now? It could be useful for some also. But looks too strange as this is not a store, right? If you don't like an express rank just because it's not a "copper membership", then sorry, but it is an another forum.
I understand you jokers. Not necessarily that I don't like an express rank. I was just saying all based on my idea of BCT. I know well that this is a different forum, but then many things here are just related to the bitcoin forum.

In BCT forum, my idea of copper membership is that any new project that is unable to get a copper membership isn't serious and are most times not taken serious for promoting their business. That willingness to get a copper membership says alot.
Besides, there's room for a positive change, nothing remains the same.

Forum related / Re: Boards where signatures aren't visible.

As far as I remember, there are no additional restrictions on signatures visibility for guests at the moment. They don't see them if they don't see the section itself.

Thanks for your reply.
My question is not all about guess users of the forum, but also signed in users. In bitcointalk for instance, board like serious discussion does not display signature. Are there such boards like that in this forum?

Solana Forum / Re: SOLANA SEASON!!! BONK & JTO !
« on: December 17, 2023, 12:54:02 PM »
I didn't know that JTO was created from Solana network. The coin has been making fantastic movements in Binance app.  I saw it reached $4 and above and later dropped to the range of $2. I didn't know the history of the coin, so I didn't jump in, maybe this time around, I will have to look into the project and see if I can make some earnings from the there.

I also do believe that projects which hasn't seen the last bull run can make much more movements than the other coins which has been here for long.

Are there boards in Altcoinstalks where signatures are not displayed. If yes, can someone point me to such boards?

Forum related / Re: Question about multiple accounts.
« on: December 17, 2023, 11:46:44 AM »
You should not ask such questions as a member of a big rank because multiple account is always dangerous and you should not participate in bounty program using multiple id at the same time. If someone is abusing bounty and other campaigns then admin will take action on it. Even if someone is using multiple ids while connected to ip
address all then their ids should be banned.
When in an open forum, especially the one that gives liberty of speech, you ask questions not only beneficial to yourself but also to others. Asking about multiple accounts doesn't mean I own multiple accounts or intend to but to know the accurate rules as it relates to multiple accounts.

In bitcointalk, someone may have an alt that they do not even intend to use in campaigns but they only use it when they want to say something that may put their main account in trouble. By so, anyone has the right to discuss anything without fear of victimisation or intimidation.

Infact, recently there's a thread against theymos in BCT forum, that account is purely an alt, but then theymos as an admin wouldn't even know the person behind the account. But if the person reported to admin, the essence of the alt is defeated.

No secret second or multiple account is allowed. If found, then all accounts of this user can face with penalties.

If I am not wrong, the admin decide because of cheaters who were abusing bounty and other campaigns.
What if someone want alt account but never tried to cheat? As I can see, the thread has no activity. Does it mean no one informed admin about their duplicate account?

admin allowed informing him about duplicate accounts via PM. So it is not necessary that others will know whose duplicate account is. And I saw some accounts with a duplicate badge which was not a result of a cheating disclosure. So some users use this option, but rarely because you can make all you need with one account.
I expected that the admin will lend his voice on this matter. Maybe he is yet to see the question. I believe he is not being reluctant to answer questions like theymos. I foresee great traffic coming to this forum in few years time. It is therefore necessary that the admin should be active here to answer some of our questions and solve our curiosity so that we all be on the same page.

I have seen some accounts written CLONE on their profile. Is this what is meant by marking the account as duplicate?

@Royse777, thanks for accepting me. Here is a little strange, so you have to bear with us untill we get acquainted to here.

In my profile, my total post is 710 which I assume is also the activity. Maybe we need to have a clarification on the difference between activity and post count or if both means same thing.

Edit: Ok, the activity is the post count as it increased by 1 after dropping my last post. So, current post count is 711.

Forum related / Question about multiple accounts.
« on: December 15, 2023, 02:14:20 PM »
I read through Royse777 rules in Tumbler and I saw his usual clause from bitcointalk
Quote
  - Multi-account (alts) can apply but will need to give up all except only one if accepted more than one.
.
Then, I remembered that I have read somewhere in this forum that multiple accounts is prohibited, although not in the unofficial rule.
@admin, please clarify the issue of multiple accounts. In bitcointalk, multiple accounts are allowed just that you will not cheat with them, such as joining the same campaign, joining same contest, pretending your alt doesn't belong to you by communicating with your alt. Etc
What is the stand of multiple accounts here?

Edit: Do I need to solve captcha each time I post?

Updated my altcoin link in the bitcointalk forum. Please reconfirm. I can't post link here and I cannot also pm you.
