General Discussion / Re: The fate of banks in the present world of Bitcoin
« on: February 08, 2024, 10:08:05 PM »
you sound like you sugarcoat everything.

the digital age also pushes the banks to adopt which is why as of now they also have the digital banking. you may never realize it but the ones we use like Paypal is exactly the same as the digital currency they are promoting.  cryptocurrency provides freedom but the banking system is likely not.

Well  for me I think it's an evolutionary process just like you said even the banks themselves don't want to be left behind and that's why they too have evolved by innovating CBDC which is almost same thing as crypto or digital money if you ask me though it's acceptance and adoption is not that as same but it's because of the centralize nature of the bank that's why it's adoption is a bit slow but am very certain the bank to themselves are doing all they can to join the moving train and like they say "if you can't beat them you join them".

the government and the banks are just in one boat. they always join together as they are the ones on the other side of the fence. government has always been doing the shady stuff and most of the time deceives the smartest people alive.

so i wouldn't be surprised if they have already joined in the form of institutions getting into crypto.  it will sound very conspiracy theory for some of us but it always does when its the government that does it. but when criminals band together and do similar thing, its called organized crime.

Ortiz by Decision 13.00 on Stake.  the bookie doesn't allow you to bet on him for bigger amount actually, a few USD won't hurt.  but Teo still is the bigger puncher between the 2. it counts because it can win the fight. if its all he got, just one shot could turn the things around.

i would probably try the multibet by just picking few who has the highest KO ratings. who knows, this few USD can turn to thousands. this is the list of the full card.

« on: February 08, 2024, 09:25:05 PM »

maybe its true. i wonder where i'm lucky at.  i'm not lucky in business nor in gambling. i guess i'm just lucky becoming an employee  ;D
there are just people who have skills designed to be an employee and there are people with skills who also are good in managerial but are not really skillful in managing their own business.

i have a friend who inherited his father's AirBNB business. he struggles to keep it up, i volunteer to be one of his room attendant because no one survives his managerial. all his employees just quit. its a good thing he pays per room but his roosters win most of the time. he like cockfighting.

despite the point deduction Imavov won. its a crazy fight  and lots of pounding, i never thought it would end in a decision. Imavov i think is ready to fight the top 5 in the MW.

there are two better fights that end in what was expected like the Radtke and Brown's win.
Radtke doesn't have a nice record but after knocking Urbina is such perfect left, i could say he will be my next bet whoever is his next opponent.

Haven't seen those yet, but just watched Moicano Vs Dober.

That was a truly great fight, both of them put on a good show and did not disappoint.
Drew looked better in the stand-up but he also has a solid wrestling background, so wasn't too afraid of them. Unluckily for him, Moicano turned out to be even better on the ground and snatched the victory by decision.
Both are unlucky to be fighting in the Lightweight, which is currently the best weight-class packed with stars. If not for that, they would be ranked much higher than they are right now. I hope Dober doesn't lose his 15th spot in the ranking.

Dober did prevent some takedowns and even over turned. both have wresting background but if Moicano does have the KO punch, it wouldn't have to go distance and the fight ends in less than 3 rounds.  Dober has KO power, he isn't however in control of the fight.

UFC is having troubles in planning which fighter to fight on the next event. but they are making it a big hype for ufc 300. some are saying the main event would be Pereira vs Aspinall.  Dana already confuse to the suggestions.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Have you used tradeogre exchange?
« on: February 07, 2024, 08:41:11 PM »

although i have seen this before on the other board, its not a known exchange still. if you prefer to use this exchange, there must be a reason. knowing that most of the volume come from the privacy coins as MrSpasybo  said, i assume the exchange is KYC free or something?

cryptowisser review indicates this is all crypto market and no credit cards nor wire transfer. it must be safe since the exchange existed before 2018. there aren't many users who will try the exchange though especially because the regular person today only knows the mainstream exchanges.

To be honest, my investment experience in altcoin or memecoin is not very good. So currently I have completely turned off my investment on meme coins. And because of the stopping investment on memecoin, my exploration of this has also decreased, so it is very difficult for me to say which coin will pump in the Bullrun ahead.
But if we notice what works as the main reason behind pumping a memecoin. Then we will find that behind that coin is the support of a person who has a big economic influence. As we have seen in doge coin, due to the support of Elon Musk, dogecoin has been able to reach this level today. And I think no one knows when and which whale will support which coin in the future. ::)

doge is among the biggest in my portfolio but i have not seen it surge for years . the rest of those people who bought in 2020 are likely the most hopeful too but Elon I think lost his interest to this coin. the man is at loss in most of his investment to which i would expect him to go all in to crypto but he isn't that open to say something about doge nor BTC anymore. i doubt the memecoins will lead the bull run.

but the AI tokens are the first to have rocketed last year. maybe they could be the next. what i believe the most is still the L1 tokens.

So, I mistakenly tapped the green icon that is usually close to a member's username. I mean the green icon that indicates if a user is online or offline. After I tap the icon, it opens up a text box to send the user a personal message.

For example, if you click the green icon next to my user name, you will see a text box to send me a personal message.

I know that this thing has been there for a long time, but I bet that most people are not aware of it, mostly teleported members.

How many of you are aware about this?
May it can be true or may it can also be wrong.
Because I was also known this feature already from BitcoinTalk forum . Where the process are same like this if I wanna pm any user just click on the green indicator it will take there for pm'ing . Even then the indicator is white is the same. I think you are going lost your bet because here most of the people are from bitcoin teleported account so it may also can be true that those people are known this features.

i'm sure many of us are not aware of it.  i actually thought i can check that green box and given some options off what to do to those users.  ;D
maybe it should be a circle, i bet thats the reason why OP even click that green indicator.

some interesting facts are discovered everyday in the forum. no one yet have suggested about the quick reply box at the bottom actually which by default is not seen. one has to click the + to make the massage box appear.

Forum related / Re: How to Identify a karma Abuser?
« on: February 06, 2024, 08:50:18 PM »
It's hard to understand something that we cannot analyze on the other forum we can see what posts got karma and who gave it I hope with the coming latest updates the karma feature will be as good as merit version of BTT, karma here is a good parameter on how we perform here and how we interact with the community, it's a reputation builder.
BTW kudos to the admins for a lot of improvement and for welcoming many teleported members by being receptive to suggestions.

You may find it difficult to understand because of something you yourself have said. I think the mistake is trying to compare it with the BTT merit system. If you use this forum without thinking about BTT (comparing everything) you will realize that karma is a good tool to quickly know which users contribute the most to the forum. And it really is something that doesn't take long to find, you just have to look at some of the users teleported a few weeks ago and you will see that their karma increases daily thanks to the contributions. Both systems are very different from each other and have the limitations they have, but in reality the end result is the same.

its best that only the admin knows what which and who but i think he is about to provide this data like that Eye of Sauron thread. i read it all but there's nothing revealed yet.

i'm not understanding what karma can do actually but i did try giving some karma if its that easy and it doesn't hurt the account.
if there is the need for 10hours before you can send another karma, this is going to be the hardest to abuse and what for? it doesn't look like the campaigns needed it.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Coins.ph is expanding.
« on: February 06, 2024, 08:37:55 PM »
For me this is good news to Filipino crypto enthusiasts living and working abroad as they can now send remittances through this cryptocurrency related  innovation without any hassle.
From the way he describes it, this expansion basically allows them to accept fiat from overseas and allows the users to easily trade that to crypto and send it to other Coin.ph users. Does this mean any exchange needs a license to accept new fiat then? Does this also mean they won't accept USD since they don't plan to 'expand' there? I thought the expansion was opening new offices or branches, but from the interview, I don't think that's necessary. Maybe just a simple office but no operation is carried out overseas (trading, etc)? Feels a bit weird, I pay other businesses outside crypto with USD just fine even though they don't necessarily have any US license, especially with stuff like PayPal.
I think coins.ph is the paypal version of the Philippines but we Filipinos are still waiting for their updates regarding the said expansion so we can try and experience the new features they will possibly offer in the near future. Since they are a crypto wallet and exchange I think US SEC requires registration locally and internationally prior to operation I just don't know how it works in other countries but here in my country all of 'em were fully regulated.

isn't this the same in Philippines? coins.ph will need to be operate legally which the SEC will provide the consent for them.  since coins.ph wants to expand in AU, they will also need a permission from SEC Australia.

i think they will really need to expand since Gcash and Maya seem to have stole their spot in the Philippines. a lot of its users moved on after coins,ph took the rough changes.

China = cheap and low quality

didn't the Chinese build some bridges in US?
how can China lose access to technology when they are the first to have 5G and they are already up developing 9G.  they also have the space exploration advantage which they even partnered with spaceX.

stop watching the news, the media is totally disconnected to the reality. and this disconnection is pretty much what they feed to the minds of the people.

i'm not from China but basically, if they have been favored by the African countries and the Middle East countries, its because of how they helped them develop projects in the region with all the new technology they have which united them all. no one does that but China even i they are yet not the leader.

You have selected some "indicative" examples.
Yes, there are areas where China is in a good position. But we need to understand where it all came from, where the technology comes from, where the specialists come from (training, experience, practice). You probably know that the United States and the EU are now reducing the access of Chinese residents to higher educational institutions (technological) and are also introducing very strict controls regarding access to information and technologies of Chinese citizens in other countries. the reason is banal - theft, massive, of all technologies that Chinese specialists can get their hands on. So the fact that they have something of really high quality does not mean that they developed it :)
And the question is why, after the United States sharply limited China’s access to technology and planned to move high-tech sites outside of China, China began to get very nervous and began to actively seek dialogue with the United States, if they are doing so well with their technologies?! Try to explain this "phenomenon" :)

what are you talking about? lol  china's been developing more tech than any countries today.  didn't china the first to invest gun powder?

anyway, if the US government will have debts from India as big as their debt from China, i would then believe India will be the next leader but as long as China never get involve in war as seem to be what is pushed today, none can prevent China from rising.
media seem to be pushing war India vs China even when they are both in BRICS. jesus.

Gambling & Crypto Casinos / Re: help us test the casino
« on: February 05, 2024, 09:10:01 PM »

i would likely want to see the casino first before applying. its a generous offer by the way, i would certainly jump in for that offer if all it is needed is to just play find some minor bugs and report it to you.  0.01ETH per hour and then every hour the casino will be giving away bonuses, jesus! count me in!   how hard can it be its just roulette and poker.

but i suppose this is not just finding bugs right?  you don't have to post the url as hyperlink so people will see this casino.

« on: February 05, 2024, 08:49:06 PM »

you mean the yotta?  its not backed by the government though so it probably is not a scam  ;D
i have tried the government lottery actually until someone made me realized we're a joke. and that was more than 15 years ago.

so sure i have not bought any tickets for a long time. but i think they are not lying about helping the poor since at least in my country, they actually do help the poor particularly for health services.  still the lottery backed by my government is shrouded by scam. recently there was senate hearing about it due to successive winners.

Filip is a younger and looks like he could KO Usyk. this is a bigger risk for Usyk.
what Bisping is saying that the event is going to be canceled because Usyk will also deny Filip because he is after a bigger payday than what he could get if he fights Fury. how disappointing can this be. but i would also not ignore the fact that Fury had been avoiding Usyk since. if the theories are to be believed, this is a massive duck.  ;D

the video does look like the elbow hit the jaw.

It is good that they didn't totally cancel the card and a replacement for Fury is better than no fight for Usyk at all.

I don't think that the youth of Filip could make him win the fight as Usyk is a technical fighter and betting Joshua twice is not an easy task for everyone in this division so i think Usyk will remain a champion after their Saudi fight in the coming weeks.

it is still very minimum to gain for Usyk to fight Filip but huge risk. he would prefer to wait even if it meant waiting a year. but its good to know they are just moving the schedule to May. i read the promotion will be adding $10M to boxers who will not back out in the event. i wouldn't let it pass if i were one of them. a generous offer like this is worth for everyone to just stick to the plan.

i think that cut above Fury's eyes will once gain open up this May.

Posting the results from yesterday's UFC FIGHT NIGHT: DOLIDZE VS. IMAVOV:
