Binance / Re: Segwit Address expires in Binance?
« on: January 30, 2024, 10:03:52 PM »
It has happened to me once before, but I do not know if that one is true or not because I just checked my binance account as well and there were no messages like that from the system at all. Doesn't mean its wrong, if you saw this on the website itself and you are certain that its the correct website then maybe they are rolling it it in batches of accounts instead of all, but make sure that you are on the same website. Because if that's a phishing website that is trying to take your deposit, that could be a very risky move, make sure the website is correct. All in all, like mentioned before, your old one will keep coming to you probably, you can test that out with a small amount.

Roma didn't really look like they had that much trouble getting the win this week. Salernitana had some shots that's not a lie and they did find some possesions but none of them were too vital, plus Roma controlled the tempo, and all Salernitana got was some counter attack type of positions. So all in all, I am guessing that Roma didn't feel that much worried, they were by two goals so they felt like they could lay back and of course that resulted with less attacks and more defense. As long as they keep getting these type of results, it would be a lot better and that would result with something that would be given properly.

This one was a close one, I know I am the only one who cares and talks about this league here, but as a Galatasaray fan, it was one of those games where nobody would be shocked if we lost it because the game looked so unlucky. We had 5 cross bars and 2 offside goals, so it really looked like we did all we could and just got unlucky and lost. But at the same time, all that unlucky situations came to just one super amazing lucy shot, and we managed to find the goal nearly at the last minutes. Quite glad that we got the win again, we can't afford to get any point differences. Looks to be going great for the time being.

Well the news says that they are not sharing any more further information regarding their on-chain deduction on how they figured it out. However, what we have as information is that he was paid in bitcoin, sent to a wallet, sent to some kyc-less exchange, bought monero there, moved to binance, and to bank accounts. So the question there is that how did he used monero, and still got tracked, he must be not hiding his wallet or anything, he must be doing nothing to save it, maybe using similar wallet address's multiple times. That seems like the only logical way that this would actually work, otherwise it wouldn't really make sense.

Klopp will be someone they will miss a lot, I do not think that they really realize how big this impact will be. I think its quite clear that we are going to see this situation not change all that much anytime soon. Maybe they are already looking for a manager already, maybe they are making some calls even right now, way before the season ends, to make sure they know everyone's answer before the question. However, no matter who they get, it will not be an easy situation and we will definitely end up with a Liverpool team that will be a bit worse for the future, it may not be all that easy to handle it all.

I totally forgot that ETC even existed, its quite good, I mean its 24th ranked so its not really that low neither, its doing quite well. I think its great that people still have high hopes for things that they care about. I know that its going to be something that would be risky to invest into it, considering its literally the alternative version of something else, but it looks like it did a fine good job. With miners and all, they are getting quite good attention. When the bull comes, I can see it ranking up higher, to me, the price doesn't matter, its the ranks, because ifs ranking higher ,then its doing better than other assets as an investment, and this might just do that.

There isn't really that much necessity for something like him to be right about bitcoin all that often. Not that it would be bad for him, but it really doesn't feel like it would be all that great for him. He is not an investor himself, he doesn't like bitcoin himself, and his viewers do know about him not liking it as well. So there is no point in investing into bitcoin or divesting from bitcoin just because he said it one more time, if you watch him then you know him. Hence, he is not gaining absolutely anything from this, it doesn't really feel like it would be something that would benefit him, so he just dislikes it all together.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Just HODL

It is true that people who "just hold" do end up with a lot, and its definitely a fun process, I have to say its going to be quite fun to keep it going, and I think we should consider it to be a lot more important. I get that its not going to be all that crazy, but we should be considering the situation to be just a way to get away from it all. I know that we can't really make it work any other way, but we should be considering the option to be a lot more relaxed. Just focus on getting paid, because when you are holding, you are going to keep getting paid more and more, there is really nothing that you can do which would ruin it, as long as you do not sell.

These type of companies do not file a lawsuit saying they lost "3 billion" in damages because they think they lost that much, they are not even saying because they want that money. It is a negotiation tactic, as old as time, they are saying 3 billion, so that they would say they would be fine with 2 billion, and offer the court a 1 billion deal, while getting offered maybe 300 million. If they go out, and say that we lost 300 million, then they will be offered maybe 10 million, hence there is no logic there. They start somewhere super unrealistic, like such a number that you would think they are joking, so that it would go down eventually to what they think they should get.

Gambling discussion / Re: [NBA] Unofficial Discussion Thread

All-Star starters are out, and I think our guy Alperen was just not given enough attention. Dude was 5th with fans voting, which is where he should be, but with media and players rank him waaaaaay lower, like not even remotely close to what fans think, suddenly he is way down. I think if this keeps up, then he may not even be at the bench, unless someone is injured and doesn't show up. I think it should be, he deserves it, I think he is a lot better than what people give him credit for and he should be all star bench this year. I am quite upset to see that players ranked him low, I can understand media, but players who played against him should know he is better than some of the names above him.

Another week, another two wins for the top teams. Both teams had some super controversial situations. Fenerbahce failed to score until 90th minute, and got a penalty then, which helped them get a last minute win. Galatasaray had a position where opposition played a hand ball, but until the referee could stop it and watch, they got the ball and scored a goal, so at one point the game turned from 2-0 Galatasaray losing, to a tie game. I have to say, both sides have a lot to talk about this week, definitely feels like it must be something crazy. I still don't know how long they can stay this close, but at least we know one more week.

Animoca constantly keeps getting bad publicity, I am feeling like its just a company that is not managed well. Good news is, there was not a single token stolen from the people, it was just the reserves for the team, nothing more. That did not stop people selling of course, its basically already gone. In any case, I feel like this wasn't that big, plus it wasn't 600 million dollars or anything, it was less than 15 million dollars worth at the time of hack, probably much much less now. They should be glad that it stopped there, it could have been something much major if they didn't stop the hackers on time, it was only the reserves that got hacked, so it should be fine.

I do not think that 32k would be viable either. OP talks about how 22k is not likely because we are getting closer to halving and there is a bgi chance that we may not reach there. But I think its quite obvious that we are not going to end up with 32k either. That doesn't mean to say that we are not going to end up with any of that, we could still end up with a result that would be good, just wait for it. I think we are going to just bounce from that 39k levels and we are going to end u with higher and higher price the more we get closer to the halving period. The testing of downside feels like it might be over.

Like many mentioned, its for making money and transactions. I have been working in the crypto industry for many many years now, and I am getting paid in bitcoin for my salary. People all over the world connect with bitcoin payments, I understand that you could also use Paypal, but that's the bank, PayPal may act like the yare not the bank, but you just move money around between banks, nothing more. If I want to pay someone with Paypal, what should I do? I need to put money from my bank to my Paypal account (or connect my card) and if they want to get paid, what do they need to do? Get paid to their bank. Without bank connection, you can't. In the crypto world, its a currency of its own, you can use it, without ever touching any bank accounts.

The logic is that, the ETF wasn't really approved, and when people just "assumed" it would, the price went to 49k already. That wasn't even the ETF, it wasn't even ETF getting properly approved. No, that was just people thinking that it was, there was a whole thing with the tweet of it and some paper at SEC and so forth, so people did have some proper reason to believe it was true. However, it was still just a wrong alarm, not the real thing. If the fake one made this much noise, how could we think that the real one would go down? I still do not understand how you think that would be possible at all.
