Yes, I think you should invest on altcoins, because altcoins are consistent right now, and it is already on the market, which helps the altcoin to increase more, unlike ICO, there are chances that they scam the project and run away all of the money, so its much better to invest that you know it is already on the market.

Yup, most of airdrops right now are scams, there are asking different information to you so you can become eligible in airdrop which is the main requirments in airdrop, but some times i even encounter adding your private key which essentially a tricks to scam people and get advantage on you, i've been scammed before because i am an early stage before but now i am trying to become more secured.
