Bitcoin Forum / Re: ATH of bitcoin 2025 ??
« on: April 18, 2024, 11:35:01 PM »
I see from the previous movement of bitcoin which reached $73K before the halving after the bitcoin ETF was approved, I think we will see the price of bitcoin touch more than $100K before the end of this year, because I think after the bitcoin halving the influence of the bitcoin ETF will be quite high.
Have you checked the current price? It is dropped to $60k today but it raises again to $63k now. Although Bitcoin is already in ETF market, there is no guarantee for the price to be $100k in the end of this year. I think we must be careful to decide of taking profits. The price change is getting difficult to predict, it can be beyond of out prediction. I also want to see the price $100k but it may not reach very soon in this year.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Fear or greed
« on: April 18, 2024, 11:31:39 PM »
Yes, we must set a selling target when we first buy coins, so that we can avoid greed. Set realistic targets, because in my opinion investing is how to manage our money, not fighting with luck. We do research, buy analysis and set targets, if achieved, sell. And then we do it again as before by managing the profits we have obtained
Agree. Before we buy certain coins, we must know the target (selling price). It should depend on the analysis we do, we decide an entry price. Yes, it should be a realistic goal, never set a too high price. If we try to be greedy by setting a too high price, it may lead to lose. The price increase may not reach the exit target, we can get a lose if this happens. So, it is important to have a realistic exit price (selling price).

You are right, we have to do research and analysis about the coins we are going to buy. As you said, perhaps a potential and popular coin, we have nothing to lose but the possibility of getting caught in a high price will make us have to hold it for a long period of time.
Whenever we want to buy coins, research is always needed. It makes sure that we will buy the right coins. Although we want to buy top coins, we don't buy carelessly. We need to check the current issues on the coins, make sure they have no bad issues. If there is issue like having a problem with SEC, it is better to stay away from the coins. This will possibly drop the value/price of the coin significantly in the future.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Invest & Hodl Bitcoin!!

Yes, trading is difficult and it takes time to learn it, as I said before my trading knowledge is not good, because I don't have much time to learn trading, maybe if I had more time I could learn trading like your friend
Sure, it should take time to learn about trading. But it is not impossible to master it if we learn seriously. But if you have no enough time to trade, you don't need to learn it. You are better to learn investment, it doesn't require a lot of time. You just need to do it anytime you have spare time (free time).

Currently we see the price of Bitcoin rising again, although we don't know whether this is just a game to manipulate the market. From several analyzes that I have read, it seems that the price of bitcoin will soon rise again and return to touching the previous ATH.
Yes, the price is increasing gradually. It makes sense because we will have halving soon, only 1 day left. The whales who manipulate the market seem to stop it, they have enough coins in their pockets now. It is the time to wait for the exit, selling time.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Has BTC really become more attractive than gold?
« on: April 18, 2024, 11:19:09 PM »
Bitcoin is the most suitable coin to invest in for the long term. To be honest, I myself also plan to do it next year when it is bearish and try to hold it for the next 10 years, because by some considerations buying Bitcoin next year is an allocation of profits during the bullish season
Yes, Bitcoin is the most recommended crypto coin for the long term holding. However, it never guarantees for the profits, we don't automatically earn money from Bitcoin investment. It needs knowledge to know how to get profits from Bitcoin, we must know the right time for entry and exit at least. Personally, I never brave to hold 10 years, it is a too long holding. I think it is better to hold 4 years, following the 4 years cycle.

When we decide to share our data with other people or a platform, it means that it will not guarantee safety. Because, they also cannot guarantee 100% that our data will be truly safe. So, when we have provided the data, it means we are making our privacy more open. It's always a risk and the risk definitely exists.
You're right. There is no guarantee for the safety when we share our data. It is better to keep the secret of our data if it is not really needed to share it. There is no platform that can guarantee our data, even our data can be stolen in the top exchanges in the world. Sure, when we share our secret information, it means to let the possible risks for our personal data in the future. It is not a wise idea, just try to keep it secretly.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you still believe in old coins?
« on: April 16, 2024, 11:59:26 PM »
New coins are more risky so before investment it was necessary for you to check about the nature of that coin and I also don't recommend to put money into just old coins because old coins are also not all worthy.
It is true, new altcoins are riskier nowadays. If we have no good ability in analyzing the new altcoins, it is better to choose top altcoins. Sure, the top altcoins are mostly old coins which have been proven for many years. I think it is the only way to have safe investment in crypto. It is not easy to analyze new coins today, there are too many shitcoins. The shitcoins just risk our money very much, they don't deserve to be our assets.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Stay away from crypto ponzis!
« on: April 16, 2024, 11:58:09 PM »
It is just for new altcoins got from new projects. If we don't want to join Ponzi, we just stay away from the new altcoins. Old top coins are the best choice if we want to avoid Ponzi, Ethereum is the most ideal altcoin besides Bitcoin. If we just focus on investing in BTC and ETH, there is no way to get Ponzi. Even, there are many people who only focus on Bitcoin investment because they don't believe in altcoins due to too many Ponzi cases.

If I hold bitcoin for one year, it will definitely touch 159k dollars if it is possible to hold it from now until 2025. The sooner you engage in long-term holdings, the sooner you can reap the benefits. Because the Bitcoin price is poised to set record highs in this four-year halving cycle.
Why you are so confident that the price of Bitcoin will touch $159k in 2025? You can see the current drop in Bitcoin price, it is just about $61k - $65k. Bitcoin price just moved in these prices, it looked a bit difficult to increase to $70k again. Many people even doubt that the price of Bitcoin can reach $100k with this condition. It is a bit surprising that you are confident the price of Bitcoin will be $159k in the next year.

55
It's true that this latest bitcoin price collapse makes me very doubtful that bitcoin will ever go to $80k. It's very difficult to increase the price that much. For this year's halving, I didn't really push Bitcoin to high prices. At least Bitcoin has reached a new ATH at $73k a few weeks ago.
I think everyone begins to feel doubtful about the possibility of a new ATH in the halving. Today, the Bitcoin price dropped again to $61k after it recovered around $65k yesterday. I don't understand why the price of Bitcoin easily dropped currently. We know halving is only in few days, but the market is moving opposite. Ideally, the market should begin increasing constantly.

56
I think we will be in a tight slot 63-78k .
But may we will make hay.
If this happens, it means there will be no significant change in Bitcoin price.
Currently, Bitcoin price is around $64k - $72k. If it is only $63k-$78k, it means halving has no big impact on Bitcoin price.
Why you think like this? Do you have specific reasons?

I think Bitcoin will play good role in April. We saw now bitcoin price is above $70k. And within short time bitcoin price will go above $80k i strongly believe it.
Have you chekced the current price? It dropped again to $65k today.
It is true that the price could increase to $71k yesterday. But it dropped again significantly today.
This makes me not really sure about $80k in halving time.

57
Yes, because of experience and knowledge, they panic when they see prices going down. If they understand the habits and character of Bitcoin, they will be calm and wait because after a correction the market will rise again.
Many people who invest in Bitcoin have no enough knowledge and experience. That makes them easily feel panic when the price drops significantly. They must still feel optimistic if they have good knowledge. It is because they understand it is a normal drop. The bullish season is still very long time, it won't end soon. Specifically that we still have a halving, it is the time for Bitcoin price to increase again significantly.

58
Because it is unpredictable is what makes many people like bitcoin and crypto. no one can predict which month of the year bitcoin will reach $100K, but it will likely happen one year after the bitcoin halving. We can only see Bitcoin's habits in its 4 year cycle
Of course, no one can know exactly about the month or the year of Bitcoin $100k. Even it is possible that Bitcoin won't reach $100k in this year because there will be altcoin season that people are no longer very interested to buy and sell Bitcoin. Sure, after Bitcoin halving, the Bitcoin market may be in a sideway phase. So, there price tends to drop or it will quite stable and hard to increase significantly again for few months.

59
Why do you think so?
Claiming in advance that two years from now the price will enter a bearish season is just as bad as OP's prediction.
All the patterns till now have been broken, the no trouble ATH, the no ATH before halving, the not going below the penultimate ATH, and so on!
Check again the 4 years cycle. It is divided 2 years bearish and 2 years bullish. 2025 is the last year of bullish season, 2026-2027 is the bearish season. We have bullish season again in 2028-2029. This is what I learned from 4 years cycle of bearish-bullish season.

Again, I don't claim it. It is from the theory of 4 years cycle.
So far, the pattern remains the same. You only can say the patter will change if there is something different in 2025.

I don't know, it is something difficult to predict. Bitcoin can be $80k or below $70k. But ideally it should be above $70k because the price of Bitcoin potentially increase high in the halving time. Most people expect the price to reach $80k, I even think it will be above $80k. But it may be not very soon in this month. Maybe it will be achieved in the next few months.
