Bitcoin has gained such a high value due to its high demand and its demand has increased high as people found it to be worth the investment as its supply is limited and it being totally out of the reach of the hands of government. Also people found it that it could not be hacked by anyone unless we reveal the private keys of the wallet in which it is stored.

People are already fed up with government's currencies which are subject to deflation and also as bitcoin earrings could not be taxed directly, most people found it as a safe haven unwilling to pay the huge percentage of taxes.

Also payments could be sent to anyone at low transaction fees and so when people found a bunch of useful factors in a single currency, they just didn't want to miss it.

People here have claimed that Bitcoin is in fact controlled and ruled by China, as mining is centralized by Chinese mining institutions.

Alam natin na malabong mangyari ito dahil unang una parang binago na rin nila ang currency natin dito sa Pilipinas. Bukod dun hindi lahat ng mamamayan natin dito sa Pilipinas ay may alam sa pagbibitcoin. Ang bitcoin ay isang digital currency paano na yung mga matatanda na hindi alam gumamit ng technology. Isa pa maraming proseso ang kakailanganin bago pa matupad ito lalong lalo na sa ating gobyerno at isa pa walang nakakaalam kung hanggang kailan mag eexist ang bitcoin at hindi naman lahat ay interesado sa pagbibitcoin karamihan parin sa kanila ay may alinlangan sa bitcoin. Kahit na ganito maging positibo pa rin tayo sa pagtatrabaho dahil ang totoo walang nakakaalam kung ano ang mangyayari bukas makawala.

First even if bitcoin tries to succeed and become super main stream where say a billion people are using it instead of fiat, it technically cannot handle the transactions it will implode upon itself. Yea yea they will fix it and code a fix, it's been 5 years still waiting. For them to even implement a fix they need to rework the architecture from the ground up. 2 years+ to find a solution and by then bitcoin will be dead. These fixes should of been done years ago in anticipating for high demand. Not when the Dam is about to burst.

Now the real reason bitcoin was created. It wasn't made to become the most powerful currency in the world. It was created to condition people to accept digital currencies and money.
