I have a mix feeling about current Altcoins. Some have real products and a good team behind the project and some have nothing less than chaff behind it. As time goes by, those which are shitcoins will disappear from the system.

You worked for ten good weeks and was paid $8? What the heck? There are some bounties which pay in ethereum or bitcoin but it is not easy to participate in such bounties. Talking about why they pay in their tokens is because of the wide adoption of their tokens.

Ethereum is popular on the market as a result of its constant comparison with bitcoin. Though each of the two coins were built to serve different purposes, there is more to ethereum than bitcoin. So yeah, ethereum is more than an alternative to bitcoin.

Buddy you are right in saying that there was actually no need for the fork. But maybe they didn't think bitcoin would win the fight. Their intention for going for the fork seems reputable but it takes more than intention to get something up and running.

Since 21st June of this year, Cardano has not been able to make any significant increase in its value on the maiprket. But it seems more stable than other coibs. The market is bearish for all coins even for bitcoin so one shouldn't lose hope yet.

It is highly unlikely for all governments to illegalized bitcoin. Considering the example you gave, it could be said that the government of Indonesia and Korea have experienced first hand the goodness about bitcoin and what is going to make them change their mind all of a sudden?

Since governmental harsh regulations on bitcoin are not able to perturb the existence of bitcoin, governments will stop fighting it and eventually adopt bitcoin. When this happens, bitcoin coin is likely to be centralized and its volatility will go down.

It always amazes me why people who buy bitcoin at high prices cannot even wait for at least two years to see an increase in price. Yet they are willing to put their money in a bank for many years for meager interest.

Hmmm, I am also confused like you mate. Maybe the Altcoins are waiting for bitcoin to maintain a wide gap before they also set out. For instance in last year, bitcoin's price arose for more than a month before the Altcoins followed.

That depends on the price you bought the bitcoin at. Let say you bought bitcoin around $8000 and it dropped to $7500, and stays there for a long time, you need not sell but hold for a long time. But in all I agree with your point.

I can't believe how ethereum is going to rank up to number one place in the presence of bitcoin. Maybe ethereum will rise to the top but that is not going to happen anytime soon. In fact the probability of that happening is so low.

this is a discussion post, tell me which coins do you guys prefer, and tell me reasons, hope this thread helps many..
The coin I would suggest for you is minexcoin. The minexcoin team gives interest to holder of the coin. So you get profit when the coin's value on the market goes up and another profit from just holding the coin.

Before you invest into cryptocurrency or anything, you have to consider whether you have that patience to wait, unlike that do not bother yourself at all. I once had bitcoin and exchanged it for another coin and a week latter bitcoin moved from 6k into 7k

Patience is a virtue that is required in every money making activity. But you need a lot of patience and optimism in crypto than any other activity I know. So I agree with you all the way. In fact you risk a lot if you want to make fast money.

No cryptocurrency will be able to compete with bitcoin let alone to do better than bitcoin. And ethereum is no exception. As it stands now ethereum is even struggling to cross the $500 barrier whilst bitcoin has broken through from $6000 into $8000 zone.
