Polygon MATIC Forum / Re: What is Polygon Network?
« on: February 10, 2024, 05:31:38 AM »
Polygon Network, formerly Matic Network, is an Ethereum scaling solution that increases its speed, allowing for higher transactions and cheaper gas prices. Formerly known as MATIC, it is a technology platform that connects blockchain networks.
Thank you for explaining Polygon Matic to all members and that is the basic understanding of Polygon Matic coins.
What is more complex is those who have more Polygon Matic coins because occasionally they also seek profits from every trade in Polygon Matic coins in various markets.
Not to mention, I saw the newest feature of the Polygon Matic coin, namely zkEVM, which perhaps all members also know about the sophistication that zkEVM has, namely scaling Ethereum layer-2. But what I like the most is that the transaction fees for Polygon Matic coins are very cheap and fast.

Forum related / Re: The teleported option will be live in my account?
« on: February 10, 2024, 05:14:20 AM »
Your hearts are very big. I am very happy for you guys, I hope a good time here for all of us. I was also thinking we should have some option to hide/unhide it but considering the POV of old members I think the teleportation badge should remain here.
Just like other members, I also recommend not hiding the "Teleported" badge because it is an "Honorable" badge.
As far as I know, if an altcoinstalks member has a lot of badges, the member's reputation will be better.
For example, there is an altcoinstalks member who has five to seven badges, that would be very cool to see.

Look at the member whose name is "MrSpasybo", he has seven badges. If he is a member who has the "Teleported" badge, it means he has badge eight. Cool Man!
That means "MrSpasybo" has eight item skills and is among the "Teleported", respected members of the forum others and is present on the altcoinstalks forum.

PS: by the way we are teleported so we are known as teleported guys so what we should call the guys who are old here, I mean there should be a term for them as well.
I think there is no need to say anything else for the old members of Altcoinstalks because they are all the same, I, we, they, Teleported members and including the Admin are all the same part of the Altcoinstalks forum.
That's why we don't differentiate between other members because we have the principle "Altcoinstalks is a friendly forum". :D

Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble regularly?
« on: February 10, 2024, 04:55:44 AM »
Do you gamble regularly or every day a week or two or three days a week?
Do you still stick with gambling or have you stopped yourself from it?
Seeing my campus friends who gamble online almost every day seems very scary because every day they gamble continuously and ignore their college assignments.
My campus friends who gamble are not just one or two people but more than 3 friends and many even play online gambling on their own smartphones.
I can relate to this. It is more painful when you consider that most college students skip classes because of gambling. Well, I am not surprised that is what addiction is capable of doing to a college gambler. They gamble with money meant for school fees, textbooks, and feeding.
I also don't know if they get money for gambling, but judging from their background, they come from a family with rich parents.
I'm just a village boy who lives under a mountain hill and I refuse things like gambling, lottery, dice because I have to pay for college fees myself.

I don't want to think negatively about them but I admit I didn't know they made money from gambling.
It could be that, as you said, the money was for college fees, or money for food and if it was true that this was done by my friends, I'm sure their parents would definitely be hurt.

The statement that CZ wants to focus on solving the problem is quite true because it is impossible for Binance to be abandoned by its leaders because that will disrupt Binance's performance.
I have to choose a difficult choice because I am sure that Cz has a way out so he can get rid of this case as quickly as possible.
Cz has done his best for the entire cryptocurrency community, including Binance users, he maintains the trust of all Binance users well and wisely.
The step taken by Cz to let go of the CEO of Binance and give it to Richard Teng is something very complex, on the one hand he is letting go of the Binance Exchange which he has pioneered and on the other hand he has to resolve this problem immediately with the CFTC and SEC.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Do professional traders lose money?
« on: February 09, 2024, 07:13:22 AM »
-
You say that, I also have the same thought because those who trade professionally have minimal losses.
There are ups and downs in cryptocurrency, of course in trading we buy when the price goes down and sell when the price goes up. What professional traders do is also the same.
These professional traders also have losses but they are minimal compared to their profits and they even have their own notes in their diaries, perhaps saved in Microsoft Excel or Notepad.
What is certain is that professional traders have the same losses we experience.

To me i don't see any reason why bitcoin should need altcoins for anything, instead, altcoins are the ones that have their dependencies on bitcoin,
Bitcoin has power because of altcoins and also because the altcoins that are traded must have a pair with Bitcoin, for example:
BTC-ETH
BTC-USDT
BTC-BNB
BTC-Ripple

If Bitcoin stands alone, it may have a low value when trading. Just look at Bitcoin trading in 2013 ,2012 ,2011, 2010.
Or maybe at that time Bitcoin was not appreciated or was free to give to those who wanted it. This is only my opinion. :D
Every day Bitcoin is being fought over and traded here, then various altcoins appear and that's where Bitcoin starts to rise and its price becomes expensive.

I don't think there's anything you can do given their current condition. They only see you as a fellow student and believe that they don't need to listen to you. Perhaps if an adult, such as their parent, college professor, or someone they respect greatly, spoke to them, they might be more willing to listen.
What you said is exactly right, that's exactly what I felt at that time when I told them to stop gambling first to immediately do their assignments.
Even though the task is not too difficult because it only involves making daily reports using Microsoft Word, it is very easy and simple from my point of view.

Maybe it's also because I'm a college friend from the same class so they don't care about me so they ignore me.
But I'm also not sure if their parents give the best advice to their children so that they don't gamble or maybe their parents won't see them gambling at home.

Chainlink Forum / Re: Chainlink Price Prediction
« on: February 08, 2024, 02:53:42 AM »
Not that extensive mate and not trading daily but  I also support the use of LINK and there are some amount stays in my Folio up to now, and as we speaks about Chainlink here the price grows up to 15 percent now an if this continue to 25-30%? then I may consider selling for a while
It looks like the trading trick for Chainlink coins that you apply seems quite suitable for me to imitate.
I also have the same thought because Chainlink is an altcoin which is the same as other altcoins, when Bitcoin goes up then Chainlink goes up in price.
If Bitcoin goes down then the altcoins I own also go down, including Chainlink coins.

since I know that before Halving of bitcoin happened the value of this one will drop and with that I will buy more from that amount I sold in.
This statement is also the same as other members because many people think that before the Halving occurs, the price of Bitcoin will definitely fall.
Just as Chainlink coins can be affected by the effects of Bitcoin going down, this means that our thoughts are the same regarding Chainlink coin price movements. :P

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BTC showing some strength, will it hold on?
« on: February 08, 2024, 02:47:03 AM »
-but I am also very worried about this Bitcoin position.-
-we can learn from this experience, better to buy and hold for long term.-
It's not that I didn't want to buy at that time at the price of 17,500 USD, but I felt strong anxiety when I saw the market continued to go red and couldn't stop falling.

Yes, that's right, Bitcoin is now expensive and has passed the price of 17,500 USD and its value has increased by more than 105%.
I currently have a little Bitcoin from various events such as Campaigns, AMAs, or trading results on Binance and I tend to have more for HodL.
The value of these satoshis is also not more than tens of thousands of satoshis, only a little because I was previously not good at looking for Bitcoins, especially as I was far from being a Bitcoin miner.

Do you gamble regularly or every day a week or two or three days a week?
Do you still stick with gambling or have you stopped yourself from it?
Seeing my campus friends who gamble online almost every day seems very scary because every day they gamble continuously and ignore their college assignments.
Indeed, gambling is a right that individuals have, but as a friend, you need to make them understand that their gambling activities are not appropriate. They are in school to study, not to engage in gambling with their friends. Despite their parents' efforts to send them to college, they are wasting their time by gambling instead of focusing on their studies.
It's not that I let them continue gambling, but I also often remind them like I would my own friends.
For example, I give advice like this: "Hey mate, let's do our campus assignments immediately, hopefully we get good grades in the future."
But what is their answer??
The answer is like this: "relax for now, friend, later we will also get good grades because the lecturer doesn't care about us either."

Their answer was like they didn't care about the grades for their courses and I, as their friend, was also very sad to see that.
I have often given them good advice, hopefully one day they will focus back on their studies and their gambling can stop slowly. :)

Forum related / Re: How to Identify a karma Abuser?
« on: February 08, 2024, 01:51:29 AM »
Yeps, you're right, so you can send karma to all members and only within the 10 hour limit to receive the karma.
As the admin said, it is still a secret to send karma and if you want more karma, start actively helping other members with various important information.

Btw, Sending karma (+) and (-) cannot be used by newbees and can only be used by Senior Rank members and above, Full members and below cannot send karma.
Now that seems a bit fair, because, sorry, I came here as a teleportation user. So, I've never sent karma while being below Sr Member rank.
No problem bro, all members on the altcoinstalks forum are the same as others who are genuine from altcoinstalks.
You can also give +karma to other members when they provide good information or help members who are having difficulties on the altcoinstalks forum.
BTW, I have never sent -karma to members on altcoinstalks since this rule was first enforced, because when I first saw a member who had a mistake I immediately:
-reprimand him first.
-Provide the best education.
-conduce after the error occurs.
In my opinion, this stage of solving the problem is better than me sending -karma. :)

Not only that, but there are also altcoinstalks members who have little activity but have a lot of karma.
His karma exceeds his activities. Do you know which member it is yet?
Everything looks clear in this post (specific sub-forum for ranks Hero and Legendary upwards).
Top 250 users sorted by karma
It's actually not a problem at all, maybe because it's appreciation for their activeness in cleaning up cheating users on this forum. They still deserve it.
Yeps, that's right, you've found it and that's what I meant earlier in the reply to my post.
I'm just helping you explain what has been happening so far on the altcoinstalks forum after the rules regarding karma. :)

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BTC showing some strength, will it hold on?
« on: February 07, 2024, 04:53:48 AM »
As of this moment that am writing this thread, Bitcoin is standing at more than $17K - to be specific now at $17,370.
Damnnn! You were in the position at that time when Bitcoin was at its lowest point and now you can see Bitcoin above the price of 42,550 USD.
If you previously bought Bitcoin at a price of 17,000 USD, then your profit is now more than 100%, but I am also very worried about this position.

I felt anxious when Bitcoin was at 17,000 USD because I was afraid it would fall further to 10,550 USD.
Exactly the same and true according to you, we are looking for safety by selling a little Bitcoin at that time so we can buy more when the price drops, but in fact until now Bitcoin continues to rise. ;D

Gambling is their right and I have no obligation to forbid them from gambling, but it would be better if they didn't gamble on campus because it's unethical.
The campus is a place to study and gain knowledge, but my friends have turned the campus into a place for online gambling and most of it is done in the canteen when taking a break from studying.

but the  question si that have you invested in Chainlink now or still on planning?
I'm just planning because I don't fully support Chainlink coins either.
I have problems with my capital to buy Chainlink coin and this can be seen from my words like this "Always dwyor with your funds at cryptocurrency, especially Chainlink coin!"

I also just predicted the price of Chainlink coin according to the title of this thread.
Maybe you understand more about how Chainlink works and have extensive experience with Chainlink coins.
Or are you a member who trades with Chainlink coins every day?

Meme Coins / Re: Can a meme coin make you rich?
« on: February 07, 2024, 04:18:44 AM »
It could also make me rich from Meme coins if I buy DOGE coins from the price of 5 satoshi and sell them at today's or yesterday's price when the DOGE coin price was 5 cents.
Everything in cryptocurrency is full of very high uncertainty, for example, many people think it is impossible for the DOGE coin to reach 5 cents but in fact 5 cents has already been passed.

If the OP thinks I can't get rich from Meme coins, that seems wrong because these Meme coins have now made many people rich.
You just need a little luck to be able to buy Meme coins at a low price and then the price can rise several times higher.
