Bitcoin Forum / Re: Keep holding or sell now?
« on: July 08, 2019, 10:07:43 AM »
No need of selling just keep holding..because  i heard that  2020 will be the best for bitcoin investors..so just hold it your coins..

It seems that it is very difficult  to answer this question very accurately.. because  there are no accurate  measurement device to measure  the pumps of bitcoin.. so we can just do predictions and nothing..

52
Yeah I also heard that thing that many investors buy bitcoins at low prices and sold it when it prices are increased.. Many predictions  are that bitcoin prices will hit more in 2020.. So let's  see what will happened..

I read some criticism around Bitcoin, because is too volatile, but this is the reason for the success of this crypto ( and others), imo

Also, why do you need a stable coin ? If you can't pay with Bitcoin for you coffe, who cares ? I mean, it is just like gold, you don't walk around paying with gold, but you know it has value.

I just can't see a clear disadvantage on being too volatile, something that could make ppl loose interest on Bitcoin. I would like to hear opinions on that.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Theories with Bitcoin Futures
« on: August 30, 2018, 07:13:36 AM »
Hello guys, what is your theory regarding Bitcoin Futures. Some say Bitcoin will dip, some say will double. What say you? What's your theory?

Hi this is my doubt about costs related to bitcoin mining. As we all know that the difficulty as well as the cost for bitcoin mining is increasing continuously, suppose now the price is around 6,400 dollars and if this goes down a little to 5,000 dollars and if it continues for a period of six months, then would it be profitable for people or companies who mine bitcoins and if they were in a loss, would they be able to continue mining with a hope that bitcoin price would increase and they could recover their losses. And would it affect bitcoin mining in future?

Your views are most welcome.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Bitcoin behavior during a recession
« on: August 30, 2018, 07:07:39 AM »
What do you guys think will happen to the price of bitcoin (and altcoins for that matter) during a recession? Often when stocks went down a little crypto market would surge. But how will bitcoin behave in a full on world economic recession? Because history tells us that a recession is coming, we haven't had one in ten years, it might be 2018,2019, or even 2020 but it's coming. Do you think the traditional market and the cryptocurrency market are negatively or positively correlated? (Or are they correlated at all for that matter?)

Is the crypto scene developing how you expected it? Do you find it progressing faster than you expected or slower? Does the progress please you or bum you out?

Obviously much of it is amazing, but at the same time it appears the same old mistakes are being made and some new ones too. Humanity is more inclined to bend something to its collective stupidity rather than head down a new road inspired by the good stuff.

Example? I've been sitting around in NEM since it was sub peanuts. There'd be one tweet a month about it and you'd have to sift through ten pages of google to find a relevant mention of it. Now it appears to be the basis of Venezuela's Petro, a coin 'backed' by the Bolivar, not oil or owt.

On one level this is mind blowing considering how nowhere it was. At the same time it's pretty fucking skeevy.

People tend to get quite confused with all this fancy crypto stuff and confused people tend to say funny things when they try to act competent. So, what's the most stupid thing you've heard about bitcoin recently?
