Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl?
« on: December 06, 2018, 08:12:53 AM »
We all know about the volatility of the crypto market, but somehow we still preach about the Hodl doctrine. What keeps you motivated to do so? and what sort of trust do you have in cryptocurrencies?

Investors like us are into predictions and discussions, but are we close to accuracy?

the average person is still motivated to hold because they are likely to always see activities that are always active in the coin / token community so, he is always encouraged to hold when he sees an update from the team or dev about the coin, so that they will be indoctrinated and told investors to keep the HOLD coin

Ethereum Forum / Re: ETH vs RIPPLE
« on: December 06, 2018, 07:51:29 AM »
compared to the two, I actually prefer ripple, because the original ripple has semi-decentralization so if for example there are parties who try to make a copy and have the title "Ripple" then Ripple has the right to sue the project, different from ETH where people are free even to make ICO use the name ETH in front of it.

Ripple's potential is also very good for the future, in contrast to ETH which only relies on transaction fees and ICO as a service in its famous name

Sorting Box / Re: Don't be IMPATIENT.
« on: December 06, 2018, 07:18:02 AM »
Its difficult really.. a year in crypto seems like 10 years at times.. everyday is such a rollercoaster ride between trading to learning to participating in bounties vs participating in local chats and forums.. everywhere you look there is something to do and its all go go go go.. but at the end of the day its important to remain patient and vigilant.. the money is coming.

that's why someone who before entry on crypto must really understand the risks behind this, if they are the character of an impatient person then it can have a negative impact on his assets

Sorting Box / Re: Reaction to first info about Bitcoin
« on: December 06, 2018, 06:59:39 AM »
I first heard of cryptocurrencies from a pastor, on a Sunday afternoon in 2012. I remember vividly he advised me to research Bitcoin and what it's all about. I simply just ignored and moved on with my life until last 2017 when someone invited me to a seminar in Lagos. I probably would become a lot more richer if I had joined earlier.

I also ignored bitcoin around the end of 2013, when my classmates also talked about it, when I heard the term I tried to look for it but my search gave another keyword, "HYIP and Games" so I guess this bitcoin is just just like toy money without more in-depth research, so I left, in mid-2017 I began to realize and see there is another good perspective on bitcoin

I'm new and im just want to ask if there's a set rules or guidelines on to become a successful member.

Successful members are relative, each person has their own size. I think a successful member is a member who can provide knowledge to others, instead of hiding their knowledge for themselves. The knowledge will be in vain. I also hope that members who have a high rank can share their knowledge for free instead of mock new members

Sorting Box / Re: Population of coins
« on: December 06, 2018, 06:25:08 AM »
Hey guys!

There are many coins on the market now and they continue to appear. But how is it possible to make your coin popular and wide-known in a huge market?
One of the ways is connecting new coin to messenger for example. People look for a new app for communication and as a bonus they are offered a new coin to use.

How do you think does this strategy work well? Would you believe such coins?
And what other ways do you know not to produce a coin that will disappear somewhere.

actually if coins are continuously released like this, in the future it will not be good, this is like trading, there is supply and demand so when these coins are continuously released (supply) but the investors and devotees are less (demand) then of course these losses will have an impact on all ongoing projects

Sorting Box / Re: be careful if you get an email in the name of a bounty
« on: December 06, 2018, 06:12:21 AM »
my friend lost his assets because he filled out the form in the name of the bounty he followed. and he filled out the form and logged in using the utc file, after that he realized that it was an email fraud.
I often get emails when i'm taking part in a bounty, i will immediately ask the bounty group if it's not an email from their dev, all i do is ignore that email.

yes,,, you must be carefull because many cheater in cryptocurrency world, don't fill any form from email without asking first to the main group

what if it's about airdrop? because usually I also often fill out forms like that even though indeed, airdrop tokens are not always landing into the wallet. For bounty itself, I've never seen anyone ever send an email to me about that and invite or try to claim
