General Discussion / Can anybody suggest me is it a good idea
« on: August 13, 2019, 12:53:57 PM »
Hi everyone, I am active in the investment market for past years and now looking to diversify my portfolio courtesy high risk-taking ability. I am planning to invest in international stocks, but don't want to go for brokerage platforms like Interactive Brokers, etc. as they charge hefty fees against it.

I have recently heard about one fintech platform, i.e., DCI Ecosystem claiming to charge minimal fees for international stock trading from investors. It also allows investors to manage all their traditional and tokenized investments at one place, with one tool.

Can anybody suggest me is it a good idea to invest in international stocks through such new & innovative (fintech) investment platforms like DCI? If yes, what are the legal and security risks?

Today, most of the new mining networks are following the partnership or sharing system, where the investors, miners and other participants of the network are given a certain share in the profits. For instance, Pieta’s mining system gives about 20% of the platform profits to its investors. But, I want to know to what extent such profit-sharing systems can work. Can they be trusted?

Until now, I have always wondered why more of new blockchains are choosing PoS over PoW. After a little research on the internet and reading articles about Proof-of-stake, I came to know that PoS consumes much less energy as compared to PoW, because of its stake-based mining phenomenon. Since I have recently invested in Titan coin, which uses hybrid PoS consensus, I am trying to learn more about this mining mechanism. What all you have to say about it?

Even after reading so many articles on the internet, I am still not clear as to how people research the authenticity of a potential altcoin before investing in it. I have invested in two altcoins in the past and both of them turned out to be fraud. One article I read says that “most of the altcoins that exist today will not see any real projects.” Is it true?: https://www.cryptopolitan.com/how-to-research-on-potential-altcoins-how-to-judge-their-potential/

There are some coins in the article that sounds promising. Should I be looking into it? Or should I stick to Bitcoin only? Honestly, I do not have a lot of trust in bitcoin, given its ever-changing price.

Crypto currency Mining / There is one thing that confuses me
« on: August 07, 2019, 01:33:32 PM »
I have had a chance to explore more about the Pieta project and I was quite impressed with what I found. I project sounds promising and the team determined enough to achieve what they are saying. But there is one thing that confuses me. Where and how are they going to produce solar energy? The team, as I was informed, is originally from Arab, but there they already produce electricity from oil, so how are they going to make solar power for mining? Kindly explain.

Guys, I am new to investment management and learning the peculiarities of it. Can anybody suggest me, is it really a good idea to subscribe to automated investment platforms for avoiding over-diversification in a portfolio? I have heard that online investment platforms like DCI Ecosystem, offers on-the-go investment advice via third-party fintech product/services like Robo-advisory, human advisor, etc. for holding a truly diversified portfolio. If yes, are they expensive than traditional investing tools?

In my desperate attempt to somehow reduce the electricity cost or find a better, cheaper alternative for mining, I have come to know about Pieta project. It claims that they will have developed a mining rig which uses solar energy instead of normal electricity (x20 Algorithm) to power the mining operations.

Is it even possible? How does that work? Should I look into it? What is your take on it?

For some time now, I have been looking to increase my bitcoin mining profits. I mean how do you mine to make sure that your input cost is the lowest and the profits are maximum? I have tried everything, but the energy consumption is way too much.

There is this new project called Pieta Ecosystem which is using solar energy for crypto mining. I have read the project whitepaper and talked to the team as well, and it looks promising the way these guys are going about it. They are soon planning to launch the first version of the mining platform for btc and eth. I would very much like to try it. What about you?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Do you agree with this?
« on: July 31, 2019, 12:55:36 PM »
I am quite confused as to which altcoin I should invest in, or whether I should invest in altcoins at all. While researching on the internet, I found this content of "Altcoin in 2017 vs 2019": https://cointelegraph.com/news/some-senators-call-on-us-to-lead-in-blockchain-and-crypto-others-doubt

It says that the price of many coins increased in 2017 during the famous bitcoin boost, but it is less likely to happen again because today investors are preferring new altcoins which real value and concept. Do you agree with this? Also, while reading about the top fastest-growing altcoins, I find out about many high-potential coins like Tratok, Titan coin, Dropil, etc. but I am still not sure whether they are worth investing.

I was recently reading Bitcoin’s price analysis between 2017 and 2019 in this investing blog: https://www.investing.com/analysis/bitcoin-analysis-2017-vs-2019-200444573

One interesting thing that I came to know is that the price of many altcoins also increased at the same time when the price of bitcoin increased in late 2017. However, the same was not repeated during the recent hike of Bitcoin in 2019, means the price of other coins did not increase.

Also, there was the mention of some coins with real value, which is supposed to gain value in the coming future. What’s your take on it?

56
I have been a bitcoin investor for over 2 years now, but recently after a huge drop in BTC price I sold all my coins. Now, I am looking to invest in an altcoin which is as strong as bitcoin but has better price stability. Many of my colleagues recommended me to invest in Titan coin. I want to ask experts here for recommendation. Should I invest or not?

Goodluck, hope you get more and more participants.
Just want to know what is your reward for participants? BTC, ETH, USDT or projects tokens?
$10-50 for researching is not bad reward :)
I want to know what factors you are using to research on coin, what are the things that you first check when reviewing the coin, it would be great if you answer this in table form of view and points form of view.

So, I was looking for some altcoins to invest in and many experts here advised me to do my research before investing in any new coin. In fact, most people to whom I asked advice in this regard told me to thoroughly research a new coin before investing in it. Fair enough. So, now my question is how exactly I do that.

I was reading online and found a few blogs that talk about the factors to consider while evaluating a new cryptocurrency or project.  Factors that include research on Crypto coin based on a number of things such as the purpose, use of blockchain, coin economics, usage, team, etc.

Is there anything else that I should be looking for or are these the only factors to consider?

I challenge you to research these coins according to your factors:

  • Tezos (XTZ)  (Check on coinmarketcap)
  • ThoreCoin (THR)  (Check on coinmarketcap)
  • Titan Coin (TTN)  (Check on coinmarketcap)
  • Binance Coin (BNB)  (Check on coinmarketcap)
  • Bytom (BTM)   (Check on coinmarketcap)
Let's see who have the best and relevant researching skills in the crypto market.

For some time now, I have been thinking of investing in cryptocurrencies. But even after reading about and researching so many tokens and coins, I am still confused as to where to invest my hard-earned money. I have a few hundred dollars that I would like to invest in a good coin.

Any suggestions? I am hearing a lot of good things about Titan Coin. I also checked their telegram group, they are providing good support.

Is it worth buying?

I know this is a classic investment question but I really need your help with this right now. I had invested in a new alt-coin called Titan Coin recently. The price of the coin went up for some days, but in recent couple of days it has been filing. Now, I am afraid that the price will fall even more and I will lose my money altogether. So, my question is should I hold my coins or sell them right away.

From what information I have gathered about Titan coin, it seems like a really genuine currency with great potential. But the recent fluctuations in price are making me worried. I even asked the same from the Dev team of Titan and they assured that this is a natural thing and the price will start going up very soon. Should I trust them?
