Defi projects have been developing very fast and we can see promising projects every day. But Defi is also known for many projects of very low quality, hacks because of insecure infrastructure and if a concept is just not interesting enough to be valuable long term.
To be sure to buy only profitable coins, a good research is important.

A good opportunity to learn about Defi is listening to experts. John Wu from Avalanche has a great website where he is reviewing interesting Defi projects. It is called Open Fi because he’s open to review new projects: https://www.johnwu.finance/blog/introducing-the-openfi-framework
As president from Avalanche, he has a very good experience what a good Defi project needs to deliver because also Avalanche will offer interesting Defi projects a platform to launch.

As listing criteria for each Defi project he will judge opportunity, product, experience, network effects, fundamentals and incentives to give a rating for famous Defi projects.

He has already reviewed:

It is a great insight in every Defi projects from John Wu, where he has done a lot of research.
As expected, new projects will be added as new reviews.

if there's any, you can share some of the potential undervalued coins you think.
Bro, your advice is very important. Many ppl sold too early and it is important to hold for an undervalued coin.

Currently very undervalued coins are:
- Waves, it is a good and innovative platform coin
- Ku Coin, it is an exchange coin like Binance but it has only a very small market cap

Waves and Ku Coin have already gained in value but it is likely to see more gains.

DeFi tokens / Re: What coins did you hold?
« on: April 10, 2021, 06:13:55 PM »
Good Defi coin is Uni Swap and Sushi Swap but also Yearn Finance from Andre Cronje. Additional good Defi coins are Chain Link and of course Ethereum and Avalanche. Just recently, Sushi Swap said it will change to Avalanche.
I'm not a friend of Binance coin because BNB is not a decentralized coin.

Who invented DeFi?
Defi was invented by Andre Cronje, when he founded Yearn Finance and got very famous:

A good picture has been where a vendor was, who was selling Bitcoin at 5k and nobody wanted it and later he offered it again, now at 50k and everyone wants Bitcoin now. Experts have said, a good is becoming more appreciated when it's getting more value. It's getting more establishment and people have more trust. It is what's happening right now at Bitcoin.

Avalanche AVAX Forum / Sushi Swap will move to Avalanche!
« on: March 20, 2021, 06:30:22 PM »
After many Defi projects have already tested Avalanche, now a big DEX is moving to Avalanche, it will be Sushi Swap: https://medium.com/avalancheavax/sushiswap-launches-on-avalanche-bringing-another-leading-dex-to-avalanches-growing-defi-ecosystem-8b84e966251f

Sushi Swap is after Uni Swap a really big DEX for coin swaps where we can use Meta Mask and exchange coins.

I'm not surprised of moves to more innovative platforms because at Uni Swap, a single swap has already very high costs because it's based on Ethereum. Now Sushi Swap will be based on Avalanche where a Swap will have less costs.

But Launch is not confirmed, Sushi Swap will announce a date when it is ready to move to Avalanche.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: BNB coin prices in march
« on: March 20, 2021, 06:16:58 PM »
I don't know about weekly prices because investing long term for HODL is more profitable but long term I see a good price fpr Binance Coin. Binance has started to be a very established platform and it's easy to use. Everybody knows it and I read only very few complaint about it.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Potential coins and Shitcoins
« on: March 12, 2021, 01:06:46 PM »
To have a look at coins and Shitcoins is very important because we need to be wise which coin we will buy.

For your list, I can add:

Coins:

Yearn Finance
Uni Swap
Sushi Swap
Avalanche

Shitcoins:

Rippel

In a few days, we will have a good option to buy more AVAX for a cheap price, because an AVAX unlocking will happen. From ICO, all coins were locked 1 year and will be unlocked each quarter and become tradable. Last time, price dumped around 20%, so people waiting to buy were very lucky.
I can imagine if we are looking at it carefully again, we will have a good option to buy.
Unlocking will occur at 9 March.
Strange as it may seem, but the price went up on the contrary, on March 9 the price was 23 dollars, today the price is 31 dollars. Probably the excitement is too great and provoked the growth of the coin.
Yes, it wasn't expected because at first a DIP occured but it was bought quickly. I see a very strong buy at Avalanche currently, how millions of newly released coins were bought.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: SEC investigating Elon Musk?
« on: March 07, 2021, 06:39:39 PM »
Yes, Elon Musk has a very big power at Twitter to shill coins and he should consider doing it more carefully. But for now, he has shilled no scam coins, his favorite ones are Bitcoin and Doge, but also Ethereum, which are all good coins.

Sorting Box / Re: What scares the beginners in crypto?
« on: February 28, 2021, 06:56:00 PM »
I am most afraid of loss. To avoid loss, we should gain some knowledge and learn from experts about technical background and how to use crypto currencies. For Bitcoin, Andreas Antonopoulos is a very good expert. And we should alway have a look when someone says, if he is professional (always prove for original content).
A big recommendation is, to avoid trading and do DIOR before buying an alt coin.

I quite like AVAX, it was one of my investments based on Ethereum gas prices becoming too high and speculation moving into other POS platforms such as avalanche, terra/luna and elrond. Fortunately all three of these investments I was able to sell half at 2x profit in this month alone. A bit like the 2017 "Bitcoin too expensive" altcoin moon scenario or even early 2018 speculation on "Ethereum killers". Despite how much I love Eth, I do like a good competitor  ;)
Diversify is always useful and nice to see your profits. We have a very great situation now, where we can make a nice profits when we invest wisely in a good coin.
From Avalanche, I expect very huge progress and maybe you have heard about Avalanche Apricot Update, it will bring new features and lower fees for Swap. I also made a swap on Pangolin Swap recently and hope for an Airdrop like from Uniswap (I missed Uniswap Airdrop unfortunately).

I also now see it's the 3rd largest POS coin, only after Cardno and Polkadot and above Beaconchain (Eth 2.0) that's in 5th at the moment, which says a lot in my opinion:

Wow, it is very good stats for Avalanche.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Why so much fear now in the crypto market?
« on: February 28, 2021, 06:42:15 PM »
Well, people have made huge profits since December and maybe it is time to take some profits now. I have heard some people saying to sell a part to buy nice goods but not selling all to wait for maybe higher prices. Of course, it's a little correction now but in overall, it is likely to see higher prices. Blockchain will make more progress and become more popular for invest like Elon Musk.

Kucoin / Re: KuCoin is very undervalued
« on: February 28, 2021, 06:36:01 PM »
As an exchange yes I agree with you that KCS can be undervalued at the $5 price it is being traded right now. However, comparing it to BNB is quite not so justified because BNB represents not just the Binance exchange but all the things including its own blockchain network which is right now getting more and more users in response to the impossible and incredible high gas fees of Ethereum. Maybe if Kucoin will be expanding its reach and its focus, there can be a big chance that its tokens will also be rising astronomically.
Yes, it could likely happen because KuCoin will try to be a strong competition. Many new blockchain projektcs will be founded and while a listing at KuCoin, it could be possible to have more partnerships and launch an own KuCoin (because Ethereum is currently used for KuCoin's KuCoins)
