I think there is no single best pair in all market conditions. It's very effective to use two or three pair in one trade signal. For example, ETHUSDT often makes bigger move in the same pump or dump compared to BTCUSDT

I don't think that Cardano will kill Ethereum because Ethereum is too big to fail or to be killed. But Cardano is great project and great cryptocurrency by itself. I don't think that you necessary need to compare these two coins to enjoy them. Both coins can give you great profits if you trade them or invest in them.
