Cryptocurrency exchanges come in two main types: centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DEX). CEXs are like traditional exchanges, managed by a company, user-friendly, and suitable for beginners and large traders. DEXs are decentralized, offering more security and privacy but can be complex.

Currently, there's a hybrid trend merging the best of both worlds, combining DEX security with CEX ease and liquidity. This new trend, exemplified by platforms like Bitget Swap and Binance, aims to enhance the trading experience. Which type of exchange do you prefer? Share your thoughts. (Edited)

Took a while for us to get here but I'm glad we have. It's unfortunate that not many realise the huge role these crop of exchanges play in fashioning the next phase of development in crypto

Cryptocurrency discussions / Thoughts on Solving Layer 1 and 2 problems?
« on: September 08, 2023, 02:50:41 PM »
Lots of talk about Layer 1 and 2 networks lately, especially regarding improvements on scalability and stability. I've noticed a few try to solve the problem in the past, but atm Nvir is the most fascinating in my opinion. Of course there may be others I don't know and I'll like suggestions for my weekend research. Also would like to hear thoughts on Nvir and their ecosystem. Is it entirely beneficial to us regular users or are there more downsides to it than upsides?

General Discussion / Re: What is better: Exercise in the gym or at home?
« on: September 06, 2023, 09:01:55 PM »
I prefer to exercise in a gym because there you have all the equipment and facilities, and you can also get guidance from the gym trainer and partners as well.

While I prefer home workouts, I think its all down to discipline. I started exercising at home a year ago. Built up a pretty good body with workouts I got from apps like "Home Workout" and "Lose Weight App For Men"- both available on Google play. I followed them religiously every morning and did the sessions for a couple months until I felt I'd achieved my aim before slacking a little. I have friends who went to the gym everyday within the same time-frame but still have protruding bellies and a whole lot of pictures in gyms shorts and stuff.

General Discussion / Re: Can snowball be a good choice at present
« on: September 06, 2023, 08:33:05 PM »
In 2023, I've been leaning more towards principal guaranteed investment options bcz the market has been quite uncertain.
So while looking at different platforms for more options, I found a new one called "snowball" on Bitget.
After doing light research about it, I realized it lets us subscribe regardless of whether the market is going up or down. For people like me who trade often based on the market, it seems like a smart way to earn some passive income. What do you think are the pros and cons here?

Fair to say they put some deep thought into this one. The system seems pretty suitable for any average user looking for passive income and risk management at the same time.
