All I can say about Ryan Garcia that money and fame are destroying his talent. It all has started from being popular on social media. He has turned into being a prodigy boxer, into addicted for attention person. Imho he is more hungry for fame, then being a boxer. In addition he needs a mentor. A person who would aim him into right direction. Because right now, money, debauchery and vulgarity are killing him. Imho he will repeat faith of Mike Tyson, when he has earned a lot of money, but his promotor robbed him.

I totally agree with you, he is in for the fame and not solely for boxing. If he fails to get an adviser ASAP, most likely the controversies that were thrown to him might bring his career in boxing down. He may have the money and can afford to stay away from it but his talent is will be put into a waste.

Less than three hours left before game 2! The numbers haven't really moved that much. I was hoping to bank on Dallas +10.5 but I find the odds to be low @1.50 I was expecting it to be around @1.7 and up because of the result of game 1.

Celtics won again but this time it is by only 7 points, you could have won if you take that +10.5 spread. Low scoring game for both teams, Irving once again have a bad shooting night, don't have the percentage though. Luka scored 32 points but he needs Kyrie to help him in the scoring chores.

And still that suffocating defense that they put out in the last couple of minutes, to force a steal and then they hit back to back threes, White and Holiday. And then that big block on PJ Washington, although there is an argument that it could have been a foul.

Now, down 0-2, I don't know how Dallas can mount a comeback. They are going to play in this homecourt though, so at least there will eb no booing on Kyrie and maybe win this one to stay alive in the series.

Game 3 is a must win for Dallas to avoid that 0-3 hole that no team in the NBA has ever recovered. With the Mavericks showing in game 2 and the possibility of KP being injured, i do think that Dallas could take game 3 and my fearless forecast that Irving will score more than 20 points to help Luka in scoring.

Well.. I agree with you that getting rich by gambling is impossible in the real world, that's just a film story. There's a big chance of getting rich when you win the lottery. It's very likely that it can happen, there's even been a lot of news about it, and again, how to do it? use the money, whether to create a business so that the money continues to circulate, so that it is not used up for things such as gambling or the Lottery, however, the money obtained from the Lottery draw can at least be used as well as possible.
Even though it is a rare case, indeed gambling have made some persons rich but then what is needed to sustain the wealth is to diversify as you have noted. Any gambler who is lucky enough to win millions and then continue gambling will certainly go broke because in between lines, he will increase his stake with the hope of winning huge again, and he will chase lose because he believes that he has money.

With such approach he will lose everything within a short period of time. This accounts for the reason most lottery winners go broke after winning the lottery. So, I disagree with you that gambling doesn't make someone rich. It does make rich but wisdom and financial prudence is needed to sustain the riches.
greed, which causes everything to be inconsistent with the desire to become rich, it is possible that what you say is true and there are those who might become rich from gambling, although the chance is very small if you look at the stories that have happened, Because usually, after winning, he will carry out his desire to be able to get even more and that is where the mistake that makes him go down because of the greed he makes.
It's very difficult, as you said, if people have become rich from gambling and the winnings usually can't stop them from doing it again. That's where they made a mistake.

Greed is a part of human nature which sadly i admit i had too when gambling. Lots of time when i'm winning but failed to stop as i have in mind that my luck would continue but in the end of the day, lost my profit and also my capital. That's is why whenever i go out to gambling, i have this game plan, if i win this certain amount, that's it i would go home and go back tomorrow or whenever possible, works fine with me until now.

Result from last night's game:

Meralco - 93
SMB - 89

Another exciting game that was decided on the last minute of the game. Again, my bet won and i'm on a six consecutive win as of this writing. No complications, just bet directly on the Meralco Bolts but of course with the handicap. Looks like the Bolts got the Beermen's number in this series as the latter were having problems with the Bolt's defense on JMF.

32Wins - 23Losses, my standing thus far

In other news, it looks like Ryan Garcia is out of control,

Quote
In a venue where he typically is found conducting boxing news conferences, Ryan Garcia has strayed into trouble again – this time prompting his arrest.

Garcia on Saturday afternoon was reportedly arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism at the Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria.

TMZ Sports posted video of a shirtless Garcia, 25, being taken into custody in handcuffs, the news agency reporting law enforcement sources saying that they apprehended the boxer for allegedly damaging property in his hotel room and a hallway.

Seriously, this kid really needs help right now as he might be undergoing another public meltdown because of the Peds issues on him. For sure he can get away with it by paying what he has damage. But still, he shouldn't be doing this as it will ruin his career.

He had a lot of money already, so I don't understand why he need to do this. And most famous celebrities really think that they are above the law and that they can get away with it vandalizing places.

Now i started to believed that indeed indeed this kid has got some mental health issues and all he needs right now is a therapy. If this can't be contain early this might be the reason for the ruining of his career. He got away with his antics on the Haney fight and with that all eyes will be on him so he should be careful on the things that he is doing off the ring.

So that will be one are that Jason Kidd will have to look at in the next game. And how to guard KP, because he was really enjoying the matchup against Lively, but the rookie can't guard him straight up and KP is good laterally, he can drive as well and dunk over the ball, or hit the outside shot. So there's a lot of adjustment that the Mavs really had to do in order to win game 2.

Talking about KP, he was having a block party in game 1 so I think the Mavs will adjust on that but definitely, KP will have an impact on the Mavs scoring, and betting on Dallas under 100 points is the way to go this game 2.

Been so busy today that i almost forgot to post my bet for tonight's game.

My Bet:
Meralco +5.5 @1.87 vs SMB - still sticking to the Bolts with that spread as i think this will be again a close game or maybe Meralco will win this one tonight because of their new found confidence that they could contain the Beermen's big guy Junemar Fajardo.

39 - bisdak40, for the second spot.

nothing to gain from esteban but esteban  will gain more thru this fight. esteban losing this fight will not even ruin his career anyway. so all the best for him.
this is the kind of fight that if by long shot esteban wins, it will put him on the spotlight and will rank up maybe to number 5.

very underdog boxer in this match but i look him up, he is a finisher too. he is just not recognized well. he has  to look at this as a big opportunity.

Indeed, Steve has nothing to lose in this fight and maybe he will get more money on this one than fighting another fighter, i mean the offer to fight Teo Lopez must have been good because he will not agree if Team Lopez gives him a penny, this fight is to bring Teo's loss confidence back.

Result from last night's game:

SMB - 95
Meralco - 94

Our bet won again last night, though the Beermen won the game but they didn't cover the spread, in fact, they almost lost the game, thanks to CJ Perez and Marcio Lassiter's clutch 3's in the dying seconds of the game that gave them the win. If i'm not mistaken, we are on a 5 game winning streak now.

31Wins - 23Losses, my standing thus far

I didn't watch the game and only looking at the numbers, what happened to Kyrie? Was he injured or was he suffering prior to the game? 6 out of 19 for him is unbelievable because he's one of the best ball handlers to ever play the game and I find it hard to believe anyone could guard him 1 v 1.

No, he wasn't injured. Just good defense on him by the Celtics but i expect him to bounce back strong in game 2 as this is his promise that he will beat his former team.
