Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in a gambler essential?
« on: January 22, 2024, 08:58:49 PM »

he is an funny person. but did he mean he is already a tree?  because if he is then he wouldn't be trying to scam you by making you invest in him.

many people can smooth talk just about anything to make you buy something they sell but when you are also aware about it. you need to simply tell them you are aware of gambling so they stop coming back and convince you all over again the next day.

Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be taken as a profession?

haven't known someone yet who took gambling as his main source of income. he would be the most skillful person to make it if there is someone who successfully made it. unless we are talking about the dealer of the cards in the casino, i'm sure its his job already.

but it wouldn't be impossible to make it a constant flow of money for some bettors in sports, there have been many sports bettor who are experts in analyzing basketball matches or boxing matches and tells their bet picks to the public. he wins and at the same time, bettors gives him tips.

thats one way to make it a source of income.

he is a paypal creator so it wouldn't be surprising to see stablecoin. but DOGE will definitely be among the cryptocurrencies that he will add on X as part of the payment method he planned for a long time.

why he hasn't done it  yet despite how easy for him to launch is because of regulation. the SEC may have a go signal with BTC ETF but not with cryptocurrencies. it will be an uphill battle for him considering that he started a war with the people from high places.

Bitcoin Forum / could adoption make BTC price less volatile?
« on: January 21, 2024, 08:59:19 PM »
since the next halving will only generate 3BTC for each block, this number could easily be absorbed by the institutions wanting to grab more BTC.  due to less supply in the market there are speculation that this could even be the last bull run. do you think so too?

and could adoption of BTC make the price less volatile that not too many people will sell and the price will be stable?
just something to foresee what could happen in the future.

anyone today does have an idea what investment are and they know the are risking money just as about gambling. you as an investors have to be too naive to completely believe your investment will double in a time that you expect. there is always a chance of loss especially if its very untimely in the bear market.

but in 2024 as a halving year, i think everyone today does have an idea what will happen to the price when halving occurs. the price will definitely rise up and we may have no idea yet which is the ATH.

Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Discussion and Prediction Topic

So there's a new middleweight champ as Du Plessis defeated Strickland via split decision. How did you see the fight? Looking at the official scorecard, it was the third round that made the difference or it could have been unanimous (2 judges - DDP, 1 judge - SS). Honestly, I didn't think it was going to be a decision but this is a perfect setup for a rematch. What do you think?

with the way they fight, i would not give them the chance to fight again if i were Dana. they excite people with their trash talks as if they are about to bite each others ears and then the result was like two kids tickling each other. but now that Dana was also showing some doubts that it was Sean who won then maybe there is a chance.

but i think Dana will bring back Adesanya to fight Sean and then DDP after it to which UFC 300 will have a golden canvass.  ;D

EOS Forum / Re: Eos price against US dollars
« on: January 20, 2024, 08:45:54 PM »
Can I ask, if I reply to this topic, you can say with Necrobumping?
If not Necrobumping then I will ask you.

Are you still holding EOS coins?
You used to say "Don't Care" until the price of EOS coins reaches 60 USD but now this EOS coin is below 1 USD.
Do you still "Care" with EOS coins? Or are you still the Hodler of EOS coins from the price of 15 USD?
I am interested in replying to this Utas is because I see this EOS coin seems to be in a sinking position to the ocean.
I do not understand the development of EOS coins but seen from the market the price continues to be below 1 USD.
This is the hot topic we are discussing, the content is meaningful, only spam comments on dead topics are considered Necrobumping.

I'm still holding EOS from that moment. EOS doesn't keep a large % of my portfolio so I can continue to Hold.
Honestly, EOS has the best technologies in blockchain market that I don't want to miss. But the bad events related to BlockOne have caused EOS to fall off its growth trajectory, which is truly unfortunate.

As you see, currently EOS price is below $1, developments from ENF, ENV, EOS Labs have not shown a positive impact on EOS price. Hope new RAM updates will change this and bring EOS back into the top #50 in 2024.

i plan to dump it all when the price of EOS hit its ATH in the bull market. right now i still am staking for RAM and CPU which earns a bit EOS. it should be easy to make money of this project if its just supported by casinos. so far i can only see Stake accepting EOS.  some off the casinos knew users earns EOS and sends them without fee.

somewhat in 2021 i think rumor spreads that Larimer is coming back and something like Antelope was created, I'm not even sure what that is but seem positive progress for EOS but nothing after it.

Yobit / Re: Yobit: liquidity problem
« on: January 20, 2024, 08:27:44 PM »
I stopped trusting Binance, as funny as it may sound but I'd rather trust my money to Yobit, they have never restricted anyone, on GateIO I never traded at all, there were a couple of times that I sold some tokens there and that's it, I agree with you that you should trade on exchanges where there is liquidity but I am now a little bit away from frantic trading and prefer measured.
What makes you trust Yobit more than Binance and GateIO?
Do you have a sad story with Binance in the past? Or are you worried that your account will be frozen for no reason and without notice in the future?

In Vietnam, the majority of users started their crypto journey with Binance and have stayed with Binance until now. We are satisfied with the services, liquidity and support from Binance. Those are things I haven't found on Yobit until now 😭

i think one of things that makes yobit worthy using is that even when they ask KYC, they don't enforce it to someone who doesn't want to unlike binance or any other exchange asking KYC documents despite how little your BTC in your account.

this is still one of the exchange that doesn't ask KYC.  it still work like 10 years ago. although price is a little different, the exchange is the way it was and the trollbox is still there.  ;D

so it doesn't really depend to the kind of pool you joined?
there are pools that it feels like they are giving more when i stake ADA with them and then on the other pools, they just give little but at the same time they are sending some other tokens like MELD or GENS.

i tried hopping from one to another back 2018 until recently there were number of ISPOs where users are encourage to stake on different pools to gain some tokens and ADA at the same time.

There is really nothing that we could end up with which would diminish the power of dollar unless dollar itself gets devalued. However, there are plenty of things they can do to fix their economy. Cut excess spending on government stuff, try to not take too much taxes from the people, and whatever you get, try to invest into things that covers the bottom, building housing projects, paying poor people, may sound like a socialist move, but we are talking about a welfare nation anyway, so it wouldn't really be shocking that they would go down that route, it would not benefit them to be more liberal at this moment when nobody has any money at all.

One question is why on m any weakening of the dollar ?
I have been observing the topic of "fighting the dollar" for a long time. And even there are supposedly arguments, but when I ask the question - "show me a real argument why the dollar hinders and creates problems for your economy ?" there are no sensible answers! There are some slogans, but nothing more. And when trying to parse any argument, its supporter very simply comes to the realization that the dollar does not negatively affect the economy of his country. Yes, I agree that a cheap/expensive dollar can create some advantages for the U.S. economy, but it's competition! Make your currency as "tricky", make your economy so that the US buys something from you and has no alternative to your product....
In short, this whole "fight against the dollar" is mostly envy of the more successful and smart and weakness instead of efforts to improve their currency and economy.

i think its mostly because when countries are sanctioned US confiscates their USD. there are several countries which their USD reserves were taken.
and for one reason above all. USD is not backed by USD. we all know that with Nixon.

i think this is why Russia and China are massively getting more gold much like how US government had started the Bretton Woods Agreement and they more than likely want to go back to gold standard.

there are altcoins that are so bullish though. SOL rise made me feel like i'm too late in buying. so i bought just 3 of it at $64 and sold quickly because i think its also about to plunge. i agree there is really the need for halving to pull the altcoin prices up and this means the altcoin season will still be in mid year.

whenever BTC dumps just like this week. the prices of altcoin are diving deeper than what BTC had. and even a good development news about their roadmap won't matter because BTC is dumping.

Gambling discussion / Re: Do you tell your husband you gamble?
« on: January 19, 2024, 09:23:59 PM »
Its good ideas or not but I don't explain to my wife about my habit in gambling, will make my household bad in the future because gambling most restrict thing before marriage. I don't think have transparent with all activities in household and some time need privacy exactly with gambling. Personally I am not addict with gambling just have fun only on weekend and limitation with amount use for betting.
Not much problem if my wife know with my gambling because I use few amount of my salary for betting and likely can't make my household financial bad. I have decision to stop with gambling but need time looking for another activities how to make me forget with gambling.
Actually, in a household there must be openness from both parties, both wife and husband. The husband will usually feel that it is legitimate when not telling his wife because the money is the result of his work and as long as it does not interfere with family finances.

However, problems will definitely come in the future when caught having a gambling habit, even though it is not much money, and from there it can cause a rift in the household. This must be anticipated, because something that is considered a small thing actually causes big things. Moreover, this is related to gambling, which not everyone accepts and even openly rejects its existence.

i wouldn't expect Armanda to be  transparent. SHE even have a wife!   ;D

seriously i wouldn't mind whether a person keep his gambling activity secret as long as he isn't ruining other's lives. if he is pretty much responsible to his wife and fair to his children, its his way for doing things.

i'm form a family of gamblers, we literally gamble just within our backyard but i don't wanna show to my family member that i'm serious with my gambling. i'd rather be drinking beers with them than playing cards with them.

WBC is always interfering with the rest of the organization despite the WBO bigger than them.  the council seem to have more roles in the mafia  ;D
but its true though, Frank certainly gain huge fans not just the council but the Saudis. when it comes down to making money, it would be best to keep the council decide since they know better.

i think Franc will still deliver what is expected, he could win the fight with AJ and then this will legitimately rank him above which he could be challenged with tough fights.
Aspinal vs Ngannou?  Tom is much faster by the way. he isn't the usual HW but Ngannou defeated Cyril Gane who is also an agile fighter like Aspinall.

Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Dexsport?
« on: January 18, 2024, 09:00:02 PM »
Truly, knowing the team or who is behind a casino gives gamblers the confidence to trust the casino but in some cases, when the casino already built reputation for itself, no body cares to know who is behind the casino because they are doing things accordingly and in the right way. That alone could help the casino since they are doing things the right way because that is what everyone gamblers are looking out for in a standard casino. Of gamblers request to know the team behind a casino then there is likely issues somewhere as it bothers to he casino.

they are building trust. they are currently doing signature campaign. they'd be competing those casinos with sports platform i'm impress they have the guts.
there's one that somehow the crypto community considered a successful decentralize casino, Betfury. i used to be an investor but sold all my shares because their token took a dive and never recovered since.

Desu seem to have lots of use case which i think the token will likely have success. well its always going to trial and error. we'll see about that.

Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao rematch in 2024
« on: January 18, 2024, 08:32:23 PM »
They would love to do it again because of the money. But who knows how much money will be involved to call out Mayweather from his Gucci lifestyle to the boxing ring after his retirement? According to Mayweather he keeps saying that he has made a lot money that he generation would never go poor in life.

Mayweather loves to brag about the money he made. Even though he often exaggerates, he surely has made a fortune. But that being said, I don't think he's the kind of person who would enjoy doing nothing other than just spending money. That gets boring pretty quickly.
Apparently it didn't take much to pull him out of his "retirement" as he had quite a few fights since then - mostly exhibitions + the McGregor fight.

the two have been doing exhibition fights every now and then. Floyd gets the best fights though and i guess he makes more money fighting Conor and that Gambino guy than Pacquiao fighting youtubers. Pacquiao has upcoming fight against Buakaw the kickboxing champ too.

it would be exciting if its not an exhibition actually. it doesn't matter if they are already old as long as we see a real bout and not an exhibition. it kills the idea that we could see real skills in boxing but when we are already aware its an exhibition fight, it feels like WWE.
