Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Max price for Solana in 2024.
« on: February 07, 2024, 01:11:24 AM »
Somewhere around a little above 200 makes sense. Thats a little over double, but to be fair that's only for this year, that doesn't mean that I am expecting anything less in 2025, I think in 2025 the real alt season will start and we are going to end up seeing it go higher. I think that should be the most important part. We could see 300+ even 400+ by 2025 sometime in there. That would be the best thing to handle, and it should be quite good and would benefit everyone. This is of course just an estimate, that doesn't mean that we are going to see it happen that easily, it could be risky for sure.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why is Bitcoin price dumping before Bitcoin halving?
« on: February 07, 2024, 12:12:47 AM »
It happens each time, no idea exactly "why" it happens, but it happens each time, check 2020 as well, you will see that the year starts at around 7k or so goes to 10k and bottoms to 4k or so and then rises to 20k+ by the end of the year. I believe that we are going to be 60k+ by the end of 2024 and that's the only thing that matters to me. I get that it may feel like its not really all that crazy, but I also believe that its going to be something that will matter in the end. I get that its not going to be all that easy and so forth, but its not really a bad thing neither, its going to be something we could care about, so going high means good enough.

Having all kinds of possibilities, also makes you a bit harder to focus. When someone is given just one thing then they could become great at that one thing, but they are given a choice, they will always keep thinking what if they picked the wrong then and sometimes they will even switch, so not be good at one thing but decent at two, which may work at times but could ruin your finances in other times. This is why I think it should be important to focus on what you could do with what you have. I personally believe that the best thing to do right now would be picking one, and mastering that one, just not gambling because that's bad.

ADA was from that period, in fact BNB is from that period as well. People see them as high so they do not remember, but I was around when binance didn't even existed, and they did ICO to get all the money they had, and sold BNB and then they ended up growing this big. I did not expected them to be this big so that is not an easy thing to do, it has to be something that will take a while. It has to be one of the biggest ones, anyone who invested during that time, even if just a thousand dollars, on their early period, they would probably be rich enough to retire right now. Thats the type of investment everyone should look out for.

Juventus really dropped the ball on that one, the longer I keep thinking about it , the more obvious it becomes that they are really putting their whole title chance at risk. I mean it all depends on Inter now, which would not be all that easy to handle, and should be something that would not be all that easy. I think Inter will have hard between all the competitions they are on, so they may get tired, the only chance Juventus has would be something like that. I think it would be the most important part, and I think that's going to be the thing that decides, Inter getting tired. Yet, even with that information, I think they may not allow Juventus to get the lead again.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BTC Spot ETF is market poison?
« on: February 06, 2024, 02:23:11 AM »
The fact that a trillion+ dollar company would start to put in some money into bitcoin means a lot. I mean we are talking about a situation that would get us higher, and it should very well be something that will benefit everyone. I get that its not going to be all that confusing to start, but it is definitely a thing that we should care about. A company that size would not end up putting in a few million dollars, they are so rich that putting in a few billion dollars wouldn't really matter. I think its quite important that we end up with something that would give us the best benefit if we could, and they will increase the price a lot.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Will bitcoin be worth 1M in 2030?
« on: February 06, 2024, 12:44:38 AM »
Why not, the possibility of it happening is not really all that unlikely, so I wouldn't really be surprised if it ever happened. I am not saying it will, because nobody is really capable of saying it will, but that also doesn't mean that it won't. I can see a possibility like that, it looks like there is a chance that we could make it grow, and I believe that it should be quite possible to get it going. Hopefully, the bull run we are going to have within this year and the next could shed some light on what would be the possibility, its going to really decide on what could happen, and we should probably see a good run, that will tell us what will happen in the future too.

While I do like him and the fact that he is improving his nation and he is pro-bitcoin, I also have to consider that he won with %83, which is really a big big margin, nobody was even remotely close to him, which makes me question the situation. Don't get me wrong, maybe he is liked that much and that's how he got elected by getting that many votes, but when was the last time you have seen someone get %80+ of the votes in a democratic election? Sure Putin may get that much, or Kim Jong Un, or Xi, they may get that, but not fairly. I am not well versed in El Salvador politics so maybe I am fully wrong, it just worried me to see that a bit.

Gambling discussion / Re: How can you cure a gambling addict?
« on: February 05, 2024, 08:44:43 PM »
Many will say it, and it is the only truth; professional help. Just like how drug addicts, or any other addict could get some psychological professional help, you need to get help from a professional to get better. For some people it is small enough that if they see a doctor once a week then they will be better, for some it is big enough to stay at a place for a few weeks or even a couple months to get better. That depends on the level of the addiction, but that is definitely the situation that we will see in the upcoming period, we are not going to really have anything that would be all that different.

I know that the right thing to say would be just "I would give it back" and it is of course easy to say that right now when we do not see the money. But are we really going to not give it back when we see the money? Just made up question is easy to answer, but when you actually see the money its not easy and I think many who say they would give it back could fail. I would probably just not touch it for a long time and expect someone to reach out to me. Lets be honest, if someone sends a million dollars, then I would guess they will try to contact you, and if I am %100 sure that they are them, I would just give it back, but if I keep it for a long long time and they do not contact me, I may start to slowly spend, not all of it, but small piece by piece.

I never really liked them, it didn't make sense to me when I first heard about it and the more I read about the less sense it makes for me as well. I get that it may feel like a situation where it could cause a lot of trouble if you are not careful. Sure, it is going to be something that may not be all that crazy to handle but at the same time we are not going to really see it change for the long term neither. Just realize that you are going to end up with any good income if you risk it too much. This doesn't mean nobody makes money from this, of course there are people who do make money from it, but its rare.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: HODLing Altcoins
« on: February 04, 2024, 09:24:03 PM »
Having a certain strong one that you hold for a long time is not really that bad, its actually a good idea, I think it would actually be a nice thing for people, I do support that. However, it also means that we are looking into "all" altcoins in this discussion and I can say that %99 of them are shit, and they are not worth holding. Remember, when you think of alts yourself, you think of maybe five, if lucky ten names, not 150, and we have tens of thousands of them out there in the world. So it is clear that you have to make a correct choice, it would not be smart to make a move that would not be a solid high level one.

"All" of it makes sense to me at any given moment. I get that some people may feel like that's a risk, but I just keep thinking that it is going to be something as great as it could get. As long as I am invested into bitcoin, I will probably not invest into anything else ever. I think that would be the best thing to do, for a long time. If there is ever any investment that looks like it could be better for me, I am not attached to bitcoin forever, I will go with whatever looks better. However, I have been here for 10 years now and I have never seen any other investment that was better than bitcoin, and I doubt I ever will.

Gambling discussion / Re: [NBA] Unofficial Discussion Thread

I highly doubt Pistons even "tried" to win this season, I mean they could be trying to win every game from all I can see, but they had a losing streak that looked so bad that I feel like it wasn't really all that great, it didn't really felt like it was something to care, it was really a huge disappointment in general. I think it should be clear to everyone that we are talking about a situation where Pistons can't win games, not because they don't want to or anything like that, they are just straight up trash, and that's why I think its clear that we are going to end up with a terrible team all season long, and I highly doubt they can get better within a few seasons neither.

News related to Crypto / Re: Ethereum ETF
« on: February 03, 2024, 09:21:58 PM »
Honestly it doesn't really feel like this would be anytime soon at all. Bitcoin is the biggest one with a big margin, its the top ranked one and I think that would be the priority. Any "ETF" that happens outside of USA doesn't really feel like its really that important, the reason is that the ydo like to invest a lot with these companies, so that has to matter. I get that it may not be all that quick, but bitcoin ETF at USA will happen eventually, and when that happens I think it will be quite important. That will bring in enough money to move the market higher, and we should be waiting until that moment without a doubt.
