I don't think that China would "accept" crypto. They are already dealing with some of the coins and tokens, like EOS was a huge thing there for example, they are just putting harsh regulations to Bitcoin that's it. Last I remember you could still have bitcoin in your wallet and that wasn't disallowed or illegal, it was illegal to mine it as far as I remember though. So there are some stuff you can do with it and can't do with it. All in all, in the end its going to be fine and even Chinese will realize that they can do whatever they want without getting caught and they could just simply deal with the privacy a bit more carefully.

They have one less game, but also just two points away so it means that they could very well get the win and be at the top, they are nearly there for sure. I get that it may not feel like they got it yet, but I highly doubt that they would lose points on that extra game. City will probably get the title again, not because the yare the "best" team but they are the most consistent. They just rarely lose points at unexpected moments, and they win when the need to win, which makes them the best. Just a few years ago, this team had like 30 game winning streak if I remember right. They are just way too good to not win it.

Gambling discussion / Re: Lucky in gambling, not in business.

I do not believe in things that would not be backed by data. Not that this wouldn't be something we can't back with data, but we just don't have it. What we simply need to do, would be check the finances of everyone who gambles, you do not have to go around the whole world and find everyone, go find a big place like Stake for example, and check their users, even that alone would give you the results. All the stake users should provide their info, how much they won/lost at gambling and how much they won/lost if they own a business. If this data is provided, then I will believe this, which we all know that data won't be provided, but in every case, without any data, this is just made up thing and I won't believe it.

This is a different thing, like they are a company that has its own value obviously there is no doubt about that, they are not just some random company who buys bitcoin and does nothing else, but at the same time their biggest thing is buying bitcoin. With this new purchase, they have over 8.5 billion dollars in investment at bitcoin and that's not normal, we are talking about growing to a huge world known levels. Imagine bitcoin going x10 higher, which isn't really impossible, that company would have 85+ billion dollars just in bitcoin and that's liquid assets that they can sell anytime they want, how many companies have that?

Unlikely to "become money"? What does he think money is? I mean I do a job, and you pay me in a currency, and then I can use that currency for other stuff, it is an indication that I own that much, isn't that the whole idea of money? I mean the fiat that you have? Either in cash form or in digital form, isn't that basically saying you own that much, its a proof, and then you spend it? Thats all there is to it, nothing really feels different with crypto to be fair. I get that people like to talk down on bitcoin, but there is really nothing that changes, its the same exact thing as the fiat they use every single day.

Gambling discussion / Re: No risk no gain
« on: February 08, 2024, 12:47:05 AM »
How much risk for how much gain though? Everyone goes "I shall risk a lot to win a lot!!" and could lose, it all depends on the risk/reward ratio. If you are talking about Bayern Munich vs Darmsadt game where Bayern gets 1.01 odds, then I would rather not gamble with that, there is really no need to, no matter how much guaranteed it may look. But if the same game is 1.40, then why not think about it? It would be possible. You are still risking your money to gamble in both cases, but one does better than the other, that's the important part. Always keep in mind the risk/reward ratio.

"Safe" is not really the world we look for around these parts, its rarely safe to do anything really and we need to realize that sometimes its not all that easy neither. So what we need to focus on right now would be is it "profitable" because if it is profitable then it worths the risk and should be the thing everyone talks about, would give people a lot of confidence to follow that up as well, and would be a smart decision. Obviously, for most people who could hold long term, its quite profitable and that is why I would say that it is de facto safe as well. This is of course if you can store it well and not get scammed or hacked.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: ATH of bitcoin 2025 ??
« on: February 07, 2024, 11:15:49 PM »
I still think that 200k is possible and even more. Too many people are shying away from this but the reality is that we are not really seeing anything all that complicated, its going to end up with something that may end up with a good result eventually. So all in all, we should not really expect anything small, why people keep thinking that a small amount would happen is beyond my understanding, it should be a bit more normal. I hope that people could see something like that to change, and for that to happen we need to end up with a greater indicator on what could happen, so its important. Expect high, much higher than what people are saying.

When you are a long term investor, there isn't really that much of a risk to talk about. I agree that its going to be a risk if you ever need the money, but that doesn't mean that you are going to end up with anything at all. I hope that we could get to a point where we could end up with bigger and bigger prices so everyone makes money, but in bear periods when you need money that is the risk. So invest money that you won't need, that would be the only solution, there is no other way that you could have zero worries about it. I personally believe that the best thing to do right now is to wait.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Will LTC rally in 2024?
« on: February 07, 2024, 08:49:11 PM »
The fact that it is 19th makes me furious because it is much better than that, and it is much holder than most stuff ahead of it, and the fee is not that high, so it should definitely be higher. I think people do not realize the power of it, I have always said that the fourth biggest should be LTC. Aside from stables, Bitcoin at first, ETH at second, BNB at third and LTC should be fourth and its nowhere near that level. I have said 150+ of course, but I think people are not seeing the real value in it, I think when people start to see the real value in this then I think we are going to see the price skyrocket.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Max price for Solana in 2024.
« on: February 07, 2024, 01:11:24 AM »
Somewhere around a little above 200 makes sense. Thats a little over double, but to be fair that's only for this year, that doesn't mean that I am expecting anything less in 2025, I think in 2025 the real alt season will start and we are going to end up seeing it go higher. I think that should be the most important part. We could see 300+ even 400+ by 2025 sometime in there. That would be the best thing to handle, and it should be quite good and would benefit everyone. This is of course just an estimate, that doesn't mean that we are going to see it happen that easily, it could be risky for sure.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why is Bitcoin price dumping before Bitcoin halving?
« on: February 07, 2024, 12:12:47 AM »
It happens each time, no idea exactly "why" it happens, but it happens each time, check 2020 as well, you will see that the year starts at around 7k or so goes to 10k and bottoms to 4k or so and then rises to 20k+ by the end of the year. I believe that we are going to be 60k+ by the end of 2024 and that's the only thing that matters to me. I get that it may feel like its not really all that crazy, but I also believe that its going to be something that will matter in the end. I get that its not going to be all that easy and so forth, but its not really a bad thing neither, its going to be something we could care about, so going high means good enough.

508
Having all kinds of possibilities, also makes you a bit harder to focus. When someone is given just one thing then they could become great at that one thing, but they are given a choice, they will always keep thinking what if they picked the wrong then and sometimes they will even switch, so not be good at one thing but decent at two, which may work at times but could ruin your finances in other times. This is why I think it should be important to focus on what you could do with what you have. I personally believe that the best thing to do right now would be picking one, and mastering that one, just not gambling because that's bad.

ADA was from that period, in fact BNB is from that period as well. People see them as high so they do not remember, but I was around when binance didn't even existed, and they did ICO to get all the money they had, and sold BNB and then they ended up growing this big. I did not expected them to be this big so that is not an easy thing to do, it has to be something that will take a while. It has to be one of the biggest ones, anyone who invested during that time, even if just a thousand dollars, on their early period, they would probably be rich enough to retire right now. Thats the type of investment everyone should look out for.

Juventus really dropped the ball on that one, the longer I keep thinking about it , the more obvious it becomes that they are really putting their whole title chance at risk. I mean it all depends on Inter now, which would not be all that easy to handle, and should be something that would not be all that easy. I think Inter will have hard between all the competitions they are on, so they may get tired, the only chance Juventus has would be something like that. I think it would be the most important part, and I think that's going to be the thing that decides, Inter getting tired. Yet, even with that information, I think they may not allow Juventus to get the lead again.
