Maybe, we have to pray the mempool remains this way. If it eventually decongests and all pending transactions approved, the price will dump.
I know I am posting late but just read your topic, and I really shocked as I never looked at the mempool with this POV, like if there is more congestion then it means the transactions are not occurring at speed, and if they decongests then all the transactions will be completed and the impact will occur on demand and supply ratio. Thanks for giving me this POV.

Besides all this, BTC still ranges between $42k to $43k even after the approval of ETFs, I don't know what is holding BTC back but it should have crossed $50k till now. I think we expected more from this ETFs, or we expected sudden results which we might not see maybe till halving, and after that we might see good results which considering the halving event are so obvious.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BTC halving event - What can we expect?
« on: January 17, 2024, 07:33:34 PM »
I cannot agree more with you but tbh I thought the ETF approval would be a bigger catalyst in compared to the halving event because it will drive billions of dollars into BTC but I was wrong about it because Billions of dollars have been flown into the BTC market (like BTC ETFs market) but BTC still not going up and no following the trend that you have wrote at the last paragraph and that's what I predicted but things are not happening the way they should or I think I was anticipating them wrong.

Anyway, now the big catalyst to drive the BTC price is halving only and I know it will not oppose my prediction. by the way, what do you mean by ETH ETFs being a catalyst for BTC price? I don't think the ETH's ETFs play any role in this, because BTC's price isn't influenced by ETH's developments and news, so I don't think it would be right to say ETH's ETF will drive BTC price.
This year, the BTC halving event meets other bullish events such as the BTC and ETH ETFs.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Disadvantages of Bitcoin ETF
« on: January 17, 2024, 07:24:26 PM »
While Bitcoin ETFs offer several advantages for investors, they come with notable limitations:

Management Fees: ETFs typically charge annual management fees, reducing the profits for those holding shares in a Bitcoin ETF compared to direct trading on cryptocurrency exchanges.
you are right but the most of people these big companies have as their customers are old people and they have millions of dollars as well, we can also say these big companies like fidelity, etc. have rich customers and they are old, they don't want to manage everything on there own, instead they will tell their broker to do it for them and when they will ask the broker to buy 1 million of BTC then they have to pay the fee as well plus other tax, etc. but don't you think they are already paying tax and fee on every other ETFs they have invested in. So what's the big deal here.
Trading Hours: Bitcoin ETFs are only available on the stock market and depend on stock market opening/closing hours. This limits the flexibility of trading for investors compared to the cryptocurrency market.
Yeah this is an issue but just like before when institutional traders got some time at weekend from traditional market they jump into crypto market to make some extra money, same can be happen here, if people are buying ETFs by themselves, then they can also buy BTC by themselves at the weekend when they are not trading in ETFs.

1. what have people done that has lead them to achieve the most efficient strategy that is time efficient in looking for, finding and trading altcoins? what systems do you use? example excel. and what are your daily steps to check and trade?
-cut-
4. we are looking at trading view, cryptobubbles and dextools. is there particular websites you look at to easy get the data you need to make the right trades?
I don't trade that much, like if I am trading in 2 to 10 alts then I obviously don't need excel or some type of sheet to store my data on, because I mostly trade on like 4 to 5 exchanges, and almost all of them have some type of mechanism that reminds me of my entry price, the amount I used to buy some alt, etc. like data. So why would I be using a spreadsheet for this? BTW use of spreadsheets is also very easy if you have set up everything like the formulas. But if you don't want to use a spreadsheet then you can use the coin gecko portfolio feature.

I use trading view to keep an eye on the prices of coins and token I am interested in, and I don't think I have ever face the need to buy that tool.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading Vs Hodling
« on: January 17, 2024, 07:14:02 PM »
So you refrain from trading and hold for a long time which will give you huge returns, of course you use a secure wallet.
I cannot agree more with you, but holding is not always better than trading, in some cases, trading is better, for example, when you have a lesser amount of funds to invest in. Like you have $100 and you want to make some profit and you decide to invest it in BTC for the long term as an "Investment" the most BTC can give is 3x to 5x but in a timespan of one halving (four years).

But if you do the trading with the same amount, you can make 10x to 20x easily if you are good at it, but if you are not good at trading than holding is the only option that is good for you. Because in holding the profit is 90$ confirmed either low or high, the remaining 10% depends on the asset you have chosen to invest in, like if you chose BTC for long-term investment then the profit is confirmed but if you chose USDT, TRC, etc. like coins which are not suitable for holding then you won't make any.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: The Good and Bad of Crypto Banking 🤔
« on: January 13, 2024, 10:42:04 PM »
Personally, I like to have options and diversity in the crypto space. I use these banks for some of my crypto needs, but I also keep some of my crypto assets in my own wallet or on a decentralized platform. That way, I can enjoy the best of both worlds.

What about you?
I think we don't have any other option but to rely on banks and we have to use them in some time of our life, we cannot live without using them directly or indirectly (like via some friend's account), because they are in our lives from a long time and our elders are using them trusting them from decades and now if we will tell them to keep some funds in their smartphones they will deny in a matter of second.

They don't trust smartphones and other technologies but only banks, they think we have someone in front of our eyes that we can blam after if money is gone somewhere but in reality they don't have any authority over these bank managers.

The thing is, we can't avoid banks even if we adopt crypto fully, but we can make 2 profiles, one for crypto world and another for fiat world where we can use banks, and we don't have to tell one life about others, this way we can really enjoy both worlds and can get benefit of both.

Binance / Re: Binance Investment in Meme token
« on: January 13, 2024, 10:07:25 PM »
Binance is always trying to do some crazy works and investing in the projects which posses some value. In previous they invested in many AI, Gaming,Web3 and Data based projects but today when I read announcement -cut-
What is yours opinion about binance venture this step? will it will bring any positive result in future?
You are 100% right, I was just talking about Binance's decisions that their new CEO is making in another thread, like how the new CEO saying, they will keep their three pillars strong (WEB3, Users, Innovation). I must say this meme coin investing thing is not good for there future reputation but I also think every decision has its own reasons, maybe they are seeing any potential in Meme coins and maybe they need more trading volume and money inflow that's why they are giving meme a try.

The bull run is coming and every newbie who doesn't even know A B C of crypto is investing, joining airdrops, and also spending money in airdrops to get many meme coins, I have seen another meme coin NOTCOIN maybe you might have heard of it, it might also be listed at Binance (not for sure but I saw its ticker on Binance in a post). Well, the thing is, Binance is making some good money to investors of Memecoins and TBH it is not that move but maybe it depends on the sensitivity of the time they are going through.

The previous CEO, CZ, brought Binance to a very high position in Crypto, but in the end he brought it a lot of bad reputation, so I expect that the new president will have to try to avoid the mistakes that CZ made and try to find a balance between satisfying users and satisfying governments, and this is a very difficult task.
I don't think the new CEO will do any good he is just a clown being played by higher powers. IMHO, Binance will be managed by the financial advisors of America or any other government until CZ gets his seat as CEO back. These three factors that the new CEO is talking about are the main factors I assumed that are driving Binance.

I am seeing a hell lot of development on the Web3 side, they even ran a campaign for their Web3 wallet users and awarded everyone, I won 2$ hehe. But in comparison to other exchanges like Bybit, they are not paying much back to their users like in terms of deposits and awards, even though I have seen that there are some hidden charges too in Binance. I have started to dislike it for such reasons. Plus this drama with the DOJ and SEC.

Many big analysts even predicted that BNB the native token of Binance will be dumped as it is overvalued now and keeping that in mind, I can say Binance is now on the verge of an end, I hope they will come up with other factors to drive it further in future.

I am new to the system,While chatting on Facebook today, I stumbled upon a video about Meta mining showcasing various devices. I'm curious if this is legitimate – could you provide more insight?
Meta mining? I think you are talking about cloud mining, in which you are providing your internet, or whatever in order to mine, well, In 2018 I spent a hell of a lot of time on many cloud mining platforms and I always joined the ones that were fake so you can conclude that I wasted my time and got nothing back. Actually I do not wanted to invest any funds until I make any profit. That's why I did not spend a penny.

And I will recommend you to do the same because I wasted my time if I would have invested money then I would waste money too, because most of these platforms are fake even in the current era.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Another big narrative. Ethereum Spot ETFs
« on: January 13, 2024, 08:56:54 PM »
I think SEC read your post and made a statement that they will not accept any other crypto assets as ETF but BTC (source) It is funny because at first he also said we will not accept BTC ETFs now after losing the case to the court they left with no other choice. And now they are playing the same drama with ETH also. Like they think we don't know what is going to happen.

I thought they were mature enough that they might change the scripts of this drama they are playing but I guess they are old-fashioned hehe. Anyway, in my opinion, ETH's ETFs will be approved but maybe near the last deadline just like BTC. And thanks for sharing the website it was helping.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Need advice for bitcoin wallet..
« on: January 13, 2024, 03:57:09 PM »
I am newcomer and very interested about bitcoin. I need a wallet before I am purchase some bitcoin. What is the best and most secure bitcoin wallet?

Your suggestion is very important to me
Its good to have you in the BTC community, I would say, first gain the knowledge of how many wallets types are there, like there are custodial and noncustodial, if you are planning to buy a big amount then you definitely should go for noncustodial wallets (the name might be confusing) but it means the opposite.

It means you should use a wallet that has its own phrase under your ownership, in noncustodial wallets you own the keys while in custodial wallets the exchange,, etc. own the keys. Electrum is the best option to hold onto BTC, but I prefer to setup a lighting node as you do have to pay fee which would be higher so to cover that you should think about setting up a lighting node as well which will lower your fee.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: You can start Free in Crypto
« on: January 13, 2024, 03:51:52 PM »
Don't withdraw money you earned from free stuff and just use good strategy to double thriple your fund.

Anyone here who started crypto as a feee users or have any advice for those want free crypto?
I really like your advice of not using these $20 to $50 Dollars that we earn for free instead we should use it as an investment. A few days ago I was joining some airdrops and I found one inscription it was free and it made me around $24 dollars in total, well, the thing is I told one of my cousins who was sleeping in my room at that night, he was totally unaware of crypto.

I asked if he had Twitter, and he said yes, I shared the link and gave him the tutorial but he after some time started to use Snapchat and did not spend a few minutes there. And when I told him about how much I made, he felt unlucky. I tried to motivate him and in the way, I told him how I lost 2300$ and he said I would have withdrawn this money and bought a second-hand car.

haha, I did not really lose 2300$ it was just I lost the opportunity just like he lost the opportunity to make $24 dollar like I made. Well, the point is, he said he would have bought this and that. This is the first reason why early crypto users do not success in it.

We do not go after small profits, we think bigger, and I learned this in a long time, I also started my journey as a bounty hunter and then joined signatures, made free money using my time and some knowledge plus I also gained knowledge on the way. Now I am hunting airdrops also as I have seen the potential they have.

It is not good for Vanguard only, I mean why would they make such a move when they can make easy money from these BTC ETFs, or are there some other reasons for them to make this move, maybe they are not that powerful in compared to others like fidelity or BR, etc. If they were not forced by higher powers to make such a move then they did not make the right one.

As, I made reply to your previous post about how Grayscale moved 4000 BTC to coinbase, and how it gives the vibe that, grayscale already made enough profit from the ETF's that they now can sell their 4k BTC. While it is not what is looks like.

One thing I don't understand is that, the girl in the tweet that was mentioned in the article, said they only allow us to sell GBTC but not buy them which is manipulating the price of BTC, how it manipulates the price of BTC exactly. GBTC is not real BTC,

554
I don't get the purpose of publishing this news by the news.bitcoin platform, as the title was created as they just transferred 4k BTC to Coinbase while after reading the whole news I realized that 4k BTC was moved to Coinbase 2 weeks ago. What I understand from this news is, that they just wanted to say that the prediction or analysis of Arkham was right about Grayscal's holding of BTC, as they hold more than $26 billion worth of BTC (which is insane btw).

Well, I think this is just to create some suspense among investors or early bidders so they could react abruptly.

PS: BTW Can you not share your own opinions in this news or its just how this section works, just asking for a friend hehe.
