Bitcoin Forum / Re: Does using BTC XMR BTC enhances your privacy?
« on: January 30, 2024, 12:02:56 AM »
When you exchange XMR to BTC, you may receive Bitcoin from a blacklisted address. Will you exchange it again or use a mixer?
It all depends if you are using this service and other exchanges correctly.
In case you are using centralized exchanges with kyc verification and exact same amounts of bitcoin and monero exchanges, than you could be identified much easier.
Few days ago one guys was traced and found in Finland for doing something like this:

Does anyone know what is the name of that Trezor partner service?
I don't know if this recent trezor leak was added to haveibeenpwned.com website, but I recommend checking your old email addresses there.
It's not a good idea to have one email address for everything, and signing up for any crypto related newsletter with that email is even worse.

Forum related / Re: [Tool] Crypto Wallet Address Balance Checker to Image

I can't call it fork, coz it was done from scratch and i didn't do something with his codes, but the webpage looks was really inspired to his work.
I can't read the code so I can't say anything about this, but it's obvious to me that you found inspiration with tools made by other members, and use some of their stuff.
Nothing wrong with that, but try to release everything as open source if possible.
It would be easier for others to contribute and find potential bugs.

Tools like the balance Checker  , giveaway manager, unit converter, etc will always be open source.
Unless if someone forks them and makes them closed source  ;)

Airdrops & Giveaways [FREE] / Re: [FREE] Safepal X1 hardware wallet
« on: January 29, 2024, 11:22:20 PM »
this is from earlier when it comes to some of your posts, but the closing tag causes some confusion in your posts. (you have that in earlier posts as well).
Oh this is one the worst things in this forum...  ::)
admin confirmed this is a bug in forum that turns all text to extreme minimal size and I can't edit my posts unless I write everything from scratch or increase text size to 10.
This is the only quick fix workaround I found with size increase to 10, so I am using that until admin fixes the bug.

Now get back on Safepal X1 topic and ignore all extra size stuff in my posts. ;)

However he did found spaceX, and reusable rockets are pretty cool, however i wonder it there's no more efficient ways - i'm too dumb to understand or argue rocket science
Yeah right, ''space'' is the biggest and most profitable show business in the world  :P
There are zero chances for one man to take charge of so many different unrelated stuff that has to do with payment, social media, traveling, while working with government all the time and pretending to be the opposition.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Aqua wallet - Bitcoin, Lightning, Liquid
« on: January 28, 2024, 11:16:11 PM »
I didn't know that EURX existed with Liquid, I'm surprised.
EURX exists for a while on Liquid Network with few more stable currencies other than USDT, but note that EURX is currently not supported for swaps in Aqua wallet, for that you need to use other exchanges.
I heard that Liquid team is preparing some interesting partnership with other projects, so stay tuned and follow upcoming updates.

Privacy Coins Forum / CMC is JUNK and Anti Privacy!
« on: January 28, 2024, 11:03:58 PM »
CoinMarketCap is owned by Binance and I always knew they are not going to be honest, but look what they are doing now with privacy coins!
They made ICP or Internet Computer as number one privacy coin that has nothing to do with privacy at all, and it is ranked above Monero now.
Even worse, they added WLD Worldcoin ranked at fifth place and they literally scanned eyeballs of people around the world for this crap  ::)
I am not sure if they are doing this on purpose or by mistake, but if you are still using CMC it's time to stop and switch to CoinGecko or some other alternative.

I must confess that I feel somewhat strange looking at my old code and design and idea in the balance Checker tool... (I changed the design in my last version, this my old one), but still very similar.
It's the new fork  8)
But I just wanted to ask him if he forked your tool or not.
I think he should give some credits to you.

This API tool can show addresses' balance using different altcoins, bitcoin, and including tokens, and can show in fiat value, e.g. USD, EUR, GBP, etc.

Well done, but consider adding support for Monero XMR coin, and give credits to original creator of code that inspired you.
Now you are forcing Bitmover to improve his tool and make it better, this is the nice part of open source  :D
I just hope bitmover wont change license now, like nvk did for coldcard wallet  :P

This is s a good question, and I noticed few teleported users like that.
Not long ago admin said that reputation can also be teleported but only if is is paid with tokens.
For users with bad reputation there should be some kind of warning, especially if they have a lot of negative feedback.

I would like to hear what admin has to say about this.

Airdrops & Giveaways [FREE] / Re: [FREE] Safepal X1 hardware wallet
« on: January 28, 2024, 10:32:07 PM »
Well, I think the hardware wallet that safepal is giving away is specifically for USDC storage, and not for bitcoin or any other crypto currencies, this I've not read to be 100 percent sure actually, but based on what is written in the infograhics op shared, this is what I think.

You are wrong, it is the same Safepal X1 hardware wallet with only different branding design.
Please take a minute to read article before making silly assumptions like this again.

Interesting I just want to get Safepal for free but the problem is no budget for the shipping fee and I'm sure the fee is more than the price of this unit.
You are telling me that shipping to your location is more than $70, maybe you live in Antarctica  :P
This is the normal price of Safepal X1 device $69.99

General Discussion / ANON lockers for delivery and forwarding?
« on: January 27, 2024, 04:56:32 PM »
I am looking for reliable service in Europe that can work as Anonymous Lockers service for receiving and sending physical packages while respecting customer privacy.

This can also be some type of forwarding service with physical addresses located in different countries around the Europe.

I would prefer if there was a way to pay with bitcoin, monero and other cryptocurrencies, but fiat payments are also acceptable.

Do you know any service like this based in Europe, and have you ever used it?

Crypto Wallets / Re: Aqua wallet - Bitcoin, Lightning, Liquid
« on: January 26, 2024, 05:35:07 PM »
If you import bitcoin wallet to Aqua, can you send/swap the native BTC as L-BTC without doing anything (no manual conversion)? Looking at their homepage, it looks like you need to convert first before you can use their swap feature. Meaning, you still can't escape the high Bitcoin transaction fees.
You should not import seed words to Aqua wallet, generate new one, and note that Aqua is using BIP84 derivation path that can be different for other wallets.
Easier way to get L-BTC is with USDT when fees are high, with sending USDT from Tron or Eth will auto-convert it to L-USDT than you can swap that to L-BTC.
You can also buy L-BTC or L-USDT directly on Bitfinex, BTSE, BTCturk, etc.

unfortunately the cult of personality is strong.
he is pushing some technology forward, which is a good thing.
but he wants to be involved in everything. And often real transparency is lacking, especially for someone of his status.
He didn't invent anything, and he is not so smart like it was being presented to people.
He didn't create paypal, and he didn't create tesla, like most people think, research this better and you will see what happened with previous owners.
Just to mention that he came from rich family and he needs to be involved in everything because his masters told him to do it, just watch his last visits to find them  ;)

You can still use Tornado Cash to mix your coins, the smart contract is still active, the problem is exchanges refusing coins labeled coming from there, which will be the same pain in the ass for USDT in case of a mixer.
Best solution for this is switching to decentralized exchanges and doing p2p trading.
Otherwise they can just invent new reasons some day to block transactions because you said or posted something against government online and they just blacklist your known addresses, or if you refused obey them in any way.
Social credit system plus CBDC means they can simply switch you off from everything.
