Forum related / Re: Discussion about Altcoins Talks Shop
« on: January 15, 2024, 04:07:42 PM »
I think the idea to give stuff to others is very interesting

3- Badges to display on others:

A- Just for fun:
>>> Burn 2$ worth of ALTT token
then post below what badge and who should receive it
A community account will announce the badge granting on the chat, with source and destination.
The badge will remain till removed by routine cleaning,
the destination can also choose to remove it by burning 1$ worth of ALTT token, after a minimum 48h.

B- For Gratitude:
- Sending Cheers /Toast
>>> Burn 2$ worth of ALTT token
then post below who should receive it
A community account will announce the badge granting on the chat, with source and destination.
The badge will remain till removed by routine cleaning (will remain a minimum for one week)

- Appreciation meter
>>> Burn 5$ worth of ALTT token >> for the first star
>>> Burn 10$ worth of ALTT token >> for the second star
>>> Burn 20$ worth of ALTT token >> for the third star
then post below who should receive it
A community account will announce the badge granting on the chat, with source and destination.
The badge will remain till the destination decides to remove it (no charge)

I miss this kind of incentive in bitcointalk and other forums. I think reddit has something similar.

Those  are the best items of the shop imo.

« on: January 15, 2024, 02:51:44 PM »
Celestia, Atom, Injective e Osmos

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Mempool Observer - Discussion about Bitcoin Fees
« on: January 15, 2024, 02:48:16 PM »
That is a tool, nice work again  ;)

I don't know if you may have overlooked it, but it would also be handy to display the time on a horizontal line on this chart. It would make reading the chart much easier.
Yeah, this is needed.

I will add you axis labels,  probably the date for each day. This is still a work in progress.

also, not sure why don't you add a source (bitcoindata.science/API for example) to your graphics, maybe even a link if possible.

Good idea! I will do that!

I'd like to know did you use data from mempool.space to make this chart, as I recalled you did it with your previous tools.

Or you actually run your Bitcoin full node 24/7 and use it for your tools nowadays?

I still use data from mempool.space, they have an amazing API
https://mempool.space/docs/api/rest

I was wondering about the line below, isn't it supposed to be 0 sat/vB, as this almost always happens when two blocks are mined with a relatively short time interval, so the block is broadcast without transaction fees?

I think you are correct. I will fix that! Coinbase have 0 sat/vbyte fees

    • Use password manager tools if possible.

I think this is the best advice which summarize all of them

I just switched to proton pass, I think it is very goof and privacy focused password manager
    https://proton.me/pass

Password manager will automatically create one unique strong password for you in each website, and automatically fill up. I can't live without one anymore.

Bitcoin Forum / Mempool Observer - Discussion about Bitcoin Fees
    « on: January 15, 2024, 01:06:55 AM »
Just like in bitcointalk, I created this thread so we can observe the mempool.

This images always show the mempool in realtime:

    Recommended fees:

    Code: [Select]

    Code: [Select]

Anyone can use those images, just use the codes above. Data  is always updated.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Is this the bottom?
    « on: January 15, 2024, 12:01:21 AM »
    any suggestions?

Just wait until it is monday and people can actually negotiate the ETF. This is speculative movement, but ETF will certainly allow more people to buy bitcoin, which means more money coming in.

This is bullish in the middle term. If you haven't, take this opportunity to accumulate some more btc

Ethereum Forum / Re: Ethereum network Gas fee exceeded 300 Gwei
    « on: January 14, 2024, 11:59:28 PM »
Gass fees on the ERC 20 platform or Ethereum platform will definitely and normally change continuously. Even within a few minutes, changes can occur in the gas fee because it depends on the condition of the network. But I was quite surprised by the high level of love even though it wasn't yet a bullish era. whereas now it seems like it has dropped very far because currently I checked the ethereum gas, it is only around 20-23. and this will definitely keep changing when someone else checks it again. So, before we transfer Ethereum or ERC20 tokens, it would be better if we first check the gas fee conditions for the transaction.

Even though it looks cheap, this is still about 1 USD to transfer ethereum and near 3 USD to transfer USDT. This is still more than the current BTC on chain transaction with 30 sat/vbyte.

Sadly, ethereum became a very expensive blockchain... It used to be much cheaper a few years ago.

Not an extension, but a useful tool for this forum.

I will share my tool that always shows the updated mempool data.

    Just use the code below:

    Bitcoin Forum / Re: Mix-Aggregators
    « on: January 14, 2024, 12:45:56 AM »
For anyone wondering how to compare all the different tools and mixers used for privacy, there are several websites released recently.

I think that more important than those websites is a community where users can comment about those services. So we all know if some mixer turned to be a scam or not.

Bitcointalk used to be that place. I hope altcoinstalks.com  becomes that place from now on.

I think we stil need a bitcoin privacy board, where we discussions related to mixers might be included

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Crypto pump groups?
    « on: January 12, 2024, 10:23:21 PM »
What are the best rely on pump signals groups out there, i need just for one specifically and that is for Binance exchange? Thank you in advance.

I think you should stay away from those groups. They are good for people who buy before they signal to buy.

They simple won't work, and you won't make a lot of money there.

For example, bitcoin value is up more than 140% in a year. Solana much more (800% or more)
Buying and hold those projects is safer and more profitable

Bitcoin Forum / Re: ETF Approval, do we have reason to celebrate?
    « on: January 12, 2024, 10:03:22 PM »
The way I see it, we're just getting another big player who will keep a large amount of Bitcoin under his control. Whoever decides on an ETF, will be given Bitcoin for "safekeeping" and in return, they will receive a dividend in Fiat. So, again Fiat, is exactly what we wanted Bitcoin to destroy.
I don't think that anyone thought bitcoin is/will/could destroy fiat. I personally see it as an alternative to the current system that will exist parallel to it and that's about it. After all, it was only a matter of time before the big players start amassing bitcoin.

Personally, I think it is much safer to buy an ETF than to keep bitcoin in an exchange.

I wouldn't do neither , but I have no problems if someone prefer to buy an ETF. Let people do whatever they want with their money.

Anyway, more people with lots of money can easily buy a bitcoin etf now.
Price will certainly react to that. Sooner or later. It is inevitable imo

    Google translated:

    Example 1:
Requesting the price of 1 ethereum in USD.
    Code: [Select]
    https://bitcoindata.science/api/localprice.php?coin=ethereum&amount=1&currency=USD

100 USD in Monero, in green color and bold.
    Code: [Select]
    https://bitcoindata.science/api/fiattobtc.php?fiatamount=100&currency=USD&coin=solana&hex=0f7b35&bold
