If you look at charts from past years, you will see similar drop of prices around the middle of January. Some say that this is because people need money after new year. Some say that this is for tax purposes. Some say that this is because of the Chinese new year (February 16). I don't know what it is but I expect to see return to ATH (All time high) at the beginning of March. 

The idea is good but the interface and the ecosystem are bad. They are not user friendly and this make storj the better alternative. I don't know if you have tried their wallet or to share space of your hard disk(their way to reward tokens) or even if you had tried to store some information on the network but it is major pain in the ass. The developers are good, the ecosystem is clean and well protected but it is not user friendly and this mean that the average user will choose alternatives.

I agree with you, the fee for KIN are too high. Btw. my transaction is still pending.  I think I need two more days.

Don't get me started on the transaction fee for Elt for example. When the token was $0.2(at the moment $0.1) they wanted 150 tokens for transaction to MEW, this is $30 (now $15), so at the moment I have 650 tokens at the exchange and I would not get the Hodl bonus of 10% of the total tokens which the Elt team will distribute to holders.

Moneys are tool. They can't buy you happiness but they can buy you things that bring you happiness. With money you don't have to sell your time doing some job that you hate, so you can buy a dinner, have a home, have electricity, running water, have free time for some hobby or to meet new people. When people say money can't buy you happiness they thing of the miserable people who have a lot of money but they are not happy. For me they are "sick", I can't understand people who have, let's say 10 mln, but are actually slaving 12-14 hours a day to make another 10. At the end, nobody will take his money with himself when he dies, so their function is only to make your life easier.     

I think somewhere in the region of $1.25 by the end of March I don't expect big price increase before the end of the year. Maybe $4 at the end of September but the project is really interesting and the developers team is very good.

I like Ethereum but if you want to invest $1000 you will do better to buy 3-4 new or cheap tokens, with potential to rise. Psychologically when people see token going from $0.002 to $0.01 they don't get "scared" of the price, but this is multiplying 5 times your investment. For you to get the same thing from ETH you have to go from $1348 (price at the moment) to  $6740 and there would be barriers all the way. I can see ETH going $2000 and after that, big dump with the price falling to $1800 maybe $1600. We can see the same with Bitcoin. It can't break the $20 000 barrier, even through we saw that price in December, before the big dump and the price falling to 13k (Bitcoin at the moment is 14 600).

pp. if you decide to invest in tokens with lower price. Read their whitepapers, view their developers and the developers GitHub, facebook, twitter. View their subforum at reddit if they have one. View the thread at bitcoin talk or their forum if they have one. If you find lively community and real people behind the project and you like the project generally you can invest but never invest all your money in just one project.
