I want to learn about being professional trader. I want to search and read some articles but I don't know whatelse.
What I read so far is about how to read candlestick. And I learn how to read indicator but I just learn it by myself.
So what articles to read? If you have some suggestion, please share here. I don't ask for the articles to read, I just ask for some clue what to learn

Here is some simple advice that I can give you from my time trading that I wish I had heard on day 1 when things were a lot cheaper in the market...

A) You need to set stop losses, but not so unreasonably close... part of trading is making mistakes.. you try to limit them but you have to be willing to take losses when you chose wrong... but you cant put them at super obvious spots either so you may have to be willing to take 8-9% loss to avoid whales pushing into stops for liquidity to buy.
B) You can't have portfolios all in alt coins, this market especially when bear likes to move money around and scalp it off of noobs. Notice how most things over the last few months kind of go up and then low volume drift sort of around where they started, this is caused by whales scalping and noobs losing money and afraid to touch them again.
c) To go along with A... you will make bad decisions, but its like the house of a casino, you just have to win slightly more than you lose.. trading is a law of averages game, and requires discipline so you don't have 10 dynamite trades then lose it all on trade 11... have conservative rules in place for taking profit and what to do when you are wrong, and never ever deviate from them.
D) Don't fall in love with altcoins, we all love to speculate but trading off of charts and rules doensn't allow the freedom for exceptions.. and if youre letting go of all of your discipline over 1 or 2 shitcoins, then thats just enough to start making you lose more than you win.. you're on team "You" not team "insert shitcoin name here".

Basically trading has tons of rules, but personal disciplines are more important... charts have a way of showing your bias, and if your biased towards it always going up or down, that is all you will ever see.. so its important to have the right mindset of a trader over understanding the tools they use.

Good luck.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Over 2000 Cryptocurrencies on coinmarketcap

It kind of depends on perspective... in a bear market do you really want 2000 tokens fighting over what little liquidity we have?  The answer is obviously not... and some projects do things that have no business being on blockchain which probably represents at least half of all projects.. but the flipside is I'm fine with there being 20-25 smart contract blockchain platforms... I'm fine with there being several for IOT, supply chain, etc because each project type needs healthy competition.  So its kind of a balancing act.

Trust me, if they are really that good in trading, they won't need to advertise any pumping groups on telegram or other media.

That's definitely a good point... and really you know it must be true, if you could win every trade and profit, there would be no need to alert anyone else, no matter how much money or people were involved.

Its just going to take time, usually when you're at the bottom an accumulation phase will be offset by a rocket with low vollume... I think we are close but signs of it being the bottom broke down, so we may have more to go.

I think a lot of it depends on where Alt Coins and Crypto are in 2020.... the future seems bright but nothing is guarateed... we must all work to not only make the forums as good as possible for new people, but Crypto the same way.

Suggestion Box / Re: Remove Bitconnect childboard from ALTT forum
« on: November 06, 2018, 08:28:23 AM »
Thanks for this... Bitconnect even if long gone has sort of lingered with a bad taste for quite a bit of time... its a bit funny that it got so much hype since it was an obvious pyramid scheme, but its a reminder of the wild wild west past coming to an end and eventually regulation setting in.

« on: November 06, 2018, 08:24:32 AM »
Pretty cool stuff... not sure what I expected but I am none of those things. but at least half of the people I know in this business have one of those as a career.. Teacher kind of surprises me but I guess they're often looking for supplemental income.

Stellar Forum / Re: What makes you invest in stellar?
« on: November 05, 2018, 07:25:34 AM »
Stellar has definitely been stubborn taking off this time but hopefully the rise is near.. I think mainly the problem is people still want to associate XRP and XLM together, and its been hindering Stellar from having a rise.. we'll see though.

Sorting Box / Re: Donot scare about negative karma
« on: October 31, 2018, 04:42:36 AM »
hey mate,

Some of you people get negative karma and stop posting and reduce your activities in this forum. Don't be afraid. I also got negative karma at the very beginning. But i improved my post quality. Do more research and share useful information. So I have some some positive karma now. Don't get depressed if you get negative karma.

I remember, and it does seem like you have turned it around and in a big way, congratulations!  Karma isn't there really to be a deterrent from posting but merely a way of ensuring that quality is maintained at a minimal level and to reduce spam.  I promise I will never give  -Karma unless someone is blatently advertising or posts something in completely the wrong section or is putting in low-level spamming efforts, and I'm sure is how most people feel.

Surely many wondered why cryptocurrency farms consume a lot of electricity? The process itself is called proof of work. That is, when you send a crypto currency to another recipient, he in turn must make sure that it does not belong to You anymore, and this proof is the large number of computers (miners) generated and recorded in the form of "blocks" in the network. Each block includes information about the previous one, which makes it impossible to change all the blocks in this chain, hence the name of the blockchain. This whole process is quite energy-intensive, and explains why it is so expensive to store large amounts of data in the blockchain network.

It could easily be fixed though by implementing an asic-resistant consensus so the difficulty wouldn't be so high... but I don't really care about the power usage since banks themselves and all of their infastructure use far more power in comparison.

Reputation, Scams & Phishing / Re: MapleChangeEx Exit Scam

Gotta just keep your funds off exchanges and minimize the risk.. and you should definitely use exchanges with some size and some form of insurance in case "they" get hacked like Binance or Coinbase, etc.  But at the end of the day, no exchange is safe, and you should practice keeping your tokens in cold wallets just in case *insert insane outcome here* happens.

Remember, anyone selling you anything typically will have an agenda... and this is for sure the case with pump and dump and signals group... and should definitely be avoided at all costs. Even if they're signal works you'll just become more confident and get stuck for more later.. so its just one of those things that its best to lose early and lose confidence over losing big later.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: What are the Best Coins to Buy?
« on: October 28, 2018, 06:44:24 AM »
I don't really like naming anything specific, just whatever you buy be willing to hold on to them if it drops more, since we aren't out of the woods yet.. make sure through telegram that they give you a good vibe, seem to be appropriately spending their funds, and development is still continuing.  Its been really dark times in Crypto lately with bear market, and its been 10x as hard on new projects.. as long as you believe in the project and are willing to hold if it drops more, they seem competent and still building, and have a good grasp on their community in telegram, then make the plunge.. everything is at good prices right now.. provided it survives.

Sorting Box / Re: which one is better to do
« on: October 26, 2018, 05:23:57 PM »
I think the best advice is to do whatever makes you feel the most natural and comfortable...  trying to force yourself out of your comfort zone can be really awkward and can make your time here feel forced and that's definitely not our goal as a community... just be you and let whatever comes, come naturally.
