Altcoin.simply means alternate cryptocurrencies. It was created after Bitcoin. Since Bitcoin has been created, other digital currencies were created to improve the crypto community.

Sorting Box / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell?
« on: July 22, 2018, 09:22:50 PM »
It depends on the project. There are some tokens that when you hold, it will turn out to be shit coins at the end of the day. Some of the coins that are good should be HODL because you can get a lot of money after selling them.

BTT is a very educative forum but ranking up requires effort to upgrade your knowledge and share with others. This forum does not need you to acquire merits before you rank up so you can do your best to rank up before the rules come in.

Sorting Box / Re: How to identify a quality bounty campaign

You should research about a project before investing or participating in their bounties. At least read the whitepaper to know what the project is actually about.

Patience is the most important virtue you can possess as a crypto investor. If you are not patient, you will sell your coins when the prices go dow and you will lose a lot of money.

Cryptocurrency is well known for the decentralized system and its speed. It does not need third party interference but the owners are responsible for transactions that take place.

As you stated earlier it was because you didn't pay attention to any details, that was why you failed. Take note of the details in the whitepaper, what the project is about, the qualification of team members and how people are buying the coin. After doing this, I am sure you will avoid scam ICO's.

I have also learnt in investment that you should not invest all your money in one coin. At least try investing in two or three coins. And buy coins when the prices have fallen and not when prices are high.

You can take part in bounties to earn some free tokens. With trading, you will need to study the market and learn from the experienced people..in order to get some tips to prevent you from losing your money.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: will people lose intrest?
« on: July 15, 2018, 03:45:06 PM »
Bitcoin will not die so I don't see why people will loose interest. If Bitcoin is to be replaced with another coin, then Ethereum will be the best coin to replace Bitcoin.

Sorting Box / Re: Should we limit members in one campaign?
« on: July 15, 2018, 03:40:59 PM »
That will be a good idea because I have participated in some campaigns with limited number of the people and the returns turn out to be very huge as compared to those with large numbers. Limiting the number of participants also reduces spam.

Sorting Box / Re: Good or bad investment
« on: July 15, 2018, 03:38:58 PM »
Even though it is quiet difficult to tell if you are doing bad investment or a good one, you should invest in known coins. These have been in the system for a while and people know their potential. The new coins that are coming up might be scam and you will end up losing all your money.
