The regulatory environment of the Japanese cryptocurrency industry has been a bit tensed up since the past few weeks.
Following a crackdown on high privacy coins including Monero and Dash, the Japanese Financial Services Agency (FSA) has decided to issue improvement orders to five crypto exchanges including bitFlyer and Quoine.
According to local media reports, the agency found flaws in the exchange operators’ internal management systems, such as measures to prevent money laundering.
