Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Too difficult to trade in the market
« on: August 07, 2018, 04:31:49 AM »
It is very difficult to choose altcoin to trade every day. I usually buy altcoins that have fallen 10-20% in price for several weeks and after I buy we put my profit from 5% to 10%. But after the goal, altcoin prices continue to decline and no signs of recovery. I do not know how to trade in this situation

We cannot just have a perfect trading strategy but we can have risk management which is to always have a stop loss when trading so that when the price continue to go down, you can just sell it and if you can see signs of recovery, you will be able to buy it again. The mistake of some traders is to continue holding for upward movement. You need a hundred percent price recovery when you lose half of its value so it needs more buyers.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Short term or long term investment?

Which do you prefer Short term or Long term investment?
Which is more profitable to you?

Long term investment for coins that has proven their worth for years like bitcoin and ethereum while for those new coins, I would have a short term investment and then later on, I might consider investing in it for the long term if they are worth it and they are active and follow the road map. For now, I am using altcoins to accumulate more bitcoin and ethereum.

Sorting Box / Re: Be careful with Telegram Group Fake Admins
« on: August 07, 2018, 03:39:02 AM »
If you are investing in ICOs or just even attending airdrops, please be careful with telegram direct messages.
When you join a telegram group, a fake account with the same name and picture of the group admin might send you a message, this can only be a friendly welcoming message.
These fake admins can ask give you some ETH addresses to send your money, to buy the ICO tokens or only to donate airdrops, or even your MEW private key...

*2 days ago, I joined bitfinex telegram to ask some questions. I directly got a dm from an admin looking scam account, it was only a welcoming message. Reported immediately

Usually, when someone would direct message me related to ICO then I would just disregard since more often than not, it would just be a scammer who wanted to get hold of my coins. There are several warnings by the admin that they do not send direct message and will not ask for ETH. If you wanted to join an ICO then directly go their site an register there.

Sorting Box / Re: Airdrop, is it legit ?
« on: August 06, 2018, 05:32:48 AM »
Hi i just want to know if i can earned in airdrop because as i joined many airdrop theres nothing in my wallet, is airdrop are legit ?

Some are legit, some are not. If you wanted to now if it is legit then better check or ask their team if they are really having an airdrop and check the ICO that is doing the airdrop as well because they might be not worth it. Check the purpose of their project and it is even better if they are doing a bounty program because it would mean that they are doing the best they can to promote the project.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: end date of of any ICOs
« on: August 06, 2018, 04:50:56 AM »
You can just ask the team in their telegram group or just check their site when would be the end of the token sale. If it is not stated then maybe there is no decision yet as to when would be the starting and end date. Maybe they are still in their Pre-ICO phase yet and they are still deciding when would be the ICO date. You just have to wait then until that information will be available to you.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: leaving your job for crypto
« on: August 06, 2018, 04:28:48 AM »
Well, it depends on the kind of job you do. Staying in the house unemployed is worth more better than doing some jobs. If you find yourself in such situations, i don't see the problem with quitting that job for cryptocurrency trading, mining or bounty. These crypto avenues pay much better than most jobs only if you understand the principles of the crypto market.

You are right. If it is a job that may endanger your health perhaps or just take away most of your time from your family because you are just being required in the job most of the time and even if you have day off you still have to work then it would be better off if you are just doing the crypto-related jobs then. You have a lot of options though because you can study trading and it is a good source of income as well and if you already have a stable plan then it would pay a lot better than the job you do before.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why Do You Use Bitcoin?
« on: August 05, 2018, 01:23:10 PM »
I use bitcoin because it is an opportunity to earn currently. Due to the fact that it is a new kind of currency, there is too much speculation going around as to how much should it be worth so it would be a good opportunity to take advantage of the volatility in price and the possibility of it to rise more as there is possibility for it to be worth multiple times than it is now.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bounty hunters and the investors
« on: August 05, 2018, 12:57:28 PM »
Guys the very reason why the team of an ICO decided to delay the reward for the bounty hunters is to secure the profit of investors when the token is already listed in exchanges.
As a bounty hunter how you face this type of action?
I think the best solution is be an investor aside from participating in bounty. I have a feeling that if this will be the practice of many bounty hunters we can demand the team to send the reward together with the purchase token and this will be part in their rules. Just a thought.

Well, some teams delay the distribution to the bounty participants because they are thinking that the bounty participants are the one dumping the price when in reality, the investors are the one doing it because they are the one holding a large part of the tokens. There may be some fact that bounty hunters sell as well but they shouldn't just blame it all it the hunters. It is just unfortunate sometimes when the coins are receive, the price is already low so it would be good if even if they would just send half of the coins and the other half later on.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is product important for a project?
« on: August 05, 2018, 12:30:48 PM »
Of course! When the investors see the project beforehand, they would be able to measure up if it is worth it to invest in the project because they have a basis of how the people are responding to the product if it is in demand or not. The investors can test the product themselves and then if they will like it then most likely they would invest on it. It is also important so that investors would have an idea of how the project would look like.

Hi! I'm from bitcointalk and I'm so happy to discover this forum. How many of you here in this forum from there and how you compare altcoinstalk?
Best regard fellas.

I am from btt and I like that in this forum, I can read most of the replies of the people because in btt, there are just so much replies that I can't just read it all since there are hundreds of pages in some threads. It's a breath of fresh air being here in the forum wherein there are no merit requirements just to rank up but of course, we should share our ideas as much as we can.

Well, there are ICOs that are under the jurisdiction of the government and they are required to get the information of the investors because if not, then their project might not be allowed to operate. It is your own decision then if you really wanted to invest in an ICO and give your documents or just wait for it to be listed in exchanges. Personally, I would just wait for it to be listed because most likely, the price when it is listed is cheaper anyway and my data is safe.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is bitcoin risky?
« on: August 03, 2018, 03:46:03 AM »
It is risky because the price is too volatile and it can go both ways whether you will earn big or lose big so you should always have risk management so that you can take advantage of the opportunity to earn from bitcoin. If you are a conservative investor then bitcoin is not for you because it would be for risk takers. Anytime, your government may decide to ban it so it is risky given that they do not have any regulations yet applicable to cryptocurrencies.

I do not doubt the fact that Bitcoin can replace banking in the future. As Bitcoin offers a lot of significance than the banks and moreover works in favour of the people, it has got all the potentials to win the interest of the people in the end when they get to understand the real concept behind Bitcoin and the Blockchain. No one will prefer to transact with the banks by then.

Even though I hate the fact that banks are so demanding and strict, I don' thin it would be able to replace by bitcoin in the future because people would be having a hard time transitioning from fiat to digital currency. Besides that, technology is not capable of doing it yet and due to these limitations, bitcoin would just co-exist with fiat and banks would still exist then.

Sorting Box / Re: How can I make money (no scam)
« on: August 02, 2018, 04:26:38 AM »
Well, aside from joining bounty campaigns and airdrops, you can offer services to others like if you have other skills that is crypto or not-crypto related then you can find a job that would be suitable for your skills. Maybe you are a good graphic designer, programmer or any skills and then you can as for a crypto payment then it would be a good source of income as well.
