Cryptocurrency has already proven that it can successfully work as a financial asset even if it is not backed by anything. After all, it works on completely different principles than fiat states. At the same time, the cryptocurrency is periodically criticized by various politicians and especially employees of the banking sector, from whom the cryptocurrency takes away their potential customers. But cryptocurrency continues to gradually gain the trust of people and this is facilitated by its legalization by a significant part of high-income countries.

Of course, the collapse of the FTX exchange had a very negative impact on the entire cryptocurrency market and brought great disappointment to its participants. There is even an opinion that because of this crypto winter, it can be delayed for some period, even until the end of next year. Therefore, law enforcement agencies must find out the cause of such a collapse and the guilt of Bankman Freed, and if he is guilty, he must be severely punished. There was even information that he had already been arrested and he was awaiting extradition to the United States.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What I think about bounty payment?
« on: December 12, 2022, 02:21:35 PM »
We were there before. Today, nothing has change.

Managers cannot guarantee the 100%  that the project team will pay the hunters according to the said schedule whatever the result.

Managers didn't promise the profitable payment.
Hunters should know from the very beginning that everything is subject to change (it depends).

Although we wasted sweat and blood, yet we're responsible to join any project. They never force us. It is/was our decision willingly to take part.

Therefore, " Join at your own risk " That's what you want to convey here in your comment Sir. But from another angle, I also understood the condition of a Bounty Manager, although I am not a BM. It also appears that all the bounty campaigns that appear here are not guaranteed to pay you if you are a participant who will campaign the new project. Apparently, the only ones who really make money are the bounty managers who manage a campaign project, pay or not to the bounty hunters or participants who promote new projects, in the end, the BM is still paid. Of course, the BMs will not agree to start managing a campaign immediately without upfront giving to them, they can be given full or half right away. That's what I know anyway.
Compared to the bounty campaigns of 2017, the situation has changed in many ways, and not for the better. Previously, the entire reward pool went to the signature campaign and was often measured in hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even an ordinary member received several thousand dollars for participating in the campaign. There were no other duties, such as registering on telegrams and social networks and performing certain actions, except for writing posts. Now, 4-5 thousand dollars are allocated for the reward pool, while only one thousand dollars is allocated for the signature campaign. There are very few signature campaigns themselves, and therefore the choice is not the same.

Hopefully this will be a positive step for crypto in the future. Indeed, Bitcoin can be an alternative for a country when it is blocked. With the use of Bitcoin in this transaction, it can trigger price movements and increasingly be given a trust by all people.
With the introduction of an economic embargo on the import and export of certain groups of goods, the problem is not so much in paying for their supply or purchase from the country that has been subject to sanctions, but in the very movement of these goods in circumvention of the imposed sanctions.

So, soon Russia will face a real financial collapse worth billions of dollars, associated with a complete embargo on the export of petroleum products to Europe. The oil ceiling is already "mowing down" Russian revenues, but the worst is yet to come for Russia.
So far, Russia is able to sell any volumes of oil at a discount to India and China, but oil products, for which Europe will close its market in February, Moscow will not be able to sell to Asia. The Chinese and Indians have their own large oil refining capacities, so they do not need oil products from the Russian Federation. They can only buy crude oil, and then at a deep discount.

The only way out for Moscow is to cut production and mothball wells, some of them permanently. Thus Russia will lose billions of dollars. No cryptocurrency will save her.

Its an emphatic no. I don't believe crypto adoption would be this big to disrupt traditional bank adoption by the mainstream. I think and know that they would exist side by side, each supplementing each other

For the next few years, I think it won't be happen.
Crypto won't replace traditional bank.
But at the coming future, anything will happen.
When digital comes and  crypto dominate there.
The existing banking system is part of the state system of power and therefore is under the full protection of the state. Can cryptocurrency, crypto banks compete with the state, and even more so with the global state system? Of course not.
States allow the circulation of cryptocurrency on their territory, but will not actively support it. Any serious changes in the financial sector are possible only with the consent and certain actions of the representative bodies of state power. Cryptocurrency can enter our lives more actively, but for this it is necessary that, in parallel with it, the state system of power also changes in the appropriate direction.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Getting Rid of Fiat Money
« on: December 11, 2022, 08:21:21 AM »
Crypto currency will not be able to get rid of fiat currency, because fiat money is a payment instrument issued by the official government in a country that is centralized and its position cannot be erased

agreed, crypto currency won't getting rid of fiat money for the next few years.
But maybe at the digital era , it will be.
Anything might happen at crypto space.
In my opinion, crypto has potential to be.
Cryptocurrency will never get rid of fiat money at all. Cryptocurrency has no chance here. Cryptocurrency and digital money in general can only be an addition to fiat and nothing more. States will never abandon their national currencies. And everything that will pose a threat to the stability of their global financial system will be destroyed. Cryptocurrency should strive to coexist peacefully with the currencies of states and not claim a dominant role.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will altcoins survive a long time like bitcoin?
« on: December 10, 2022, 05:36:31 PM »
Memecoins come and go and most are a flash in the pan. Very few altcoins will remain permanently popular like Bitcoin is, I think.
Altcoins in general will already exist as long as there is a cryptocurrency. They will sometimes replace each other, but this is what will allow them to develop very quickly. Specific altcoins will exist for a long time if they are constantly improved and improve their functional characteristics.
As for bitcoin, we see that in terms of its functionality, it already lags behind almost all altcoins. He is aging, and therefore will lose his current leadership position.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is a Bitcoin crash inevitable?
« on: December 10, 2022, 04:47:06 PM »
I confess I am a little concerned what will happen if there is, indeed, a war in Ukraine. How that will affect the markets in general, including the crypto market.
What is the current state of tension between Ukraine - Russia ? Hope it stays fine. Everyone must be worried if this war really happens, I'm afraid it will have a big impact on the world economy. Bitcoin will definitely have its share of bad luck, but I'll be fine.
The commentary was written three days before the start of the bloodiest and most brutal war in Europe since the Second World War. Russia was very wrong in its assumption that in a few days it would be able to capture Ukraine and suffer a crushing defeat in Ukraine. In retaliation, she is now launching periodic rocket attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, seeking to deprive Ukrainians of light, water and heat and spark massive protests against her government. But this only unites the desire of Ukrainians to destroy the occupiers.

According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 93,760 Russian occupiers in Ukraine have been killed to date. According to Russia, irretrievable losses amount to more than 126,000 military personnel (93,012 from among the regular military personnel, 28,134 members of the Wagner private military company and 5,673 of the National Guard).

This war has worsened the economic situation in many countries of the world, and if it continues, its negative impact will increase.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BTC showing some strength, will it hold on?
« on: December 10, 2022, 02:40:59 PM »
The current crypto winter has been going on for more than a year, which means that it should be nearing its end. Now the price of bitcoin continues to be held at the level of more than 17,000 dollars, that is, its price rate is generally stable, despite some serious negative news in the cryptocurrency market. But we are on the eve of Christmas and New Year holidays. And this means that people will spend more of their money on gifts and products for the holiday than on cryptocurrency. Therefore, I expect that the price on the market will remain approximately at this level for several more months, and somewhere in February it may begin to grow upwards. But the cryptocurrency will always be quite strongly influenced by various news factors, which cannot be foreseen in advance.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is it Fair or Unjust?
« on: December 09, 2022, 11:18:21 AM »
A few years ago, the reward pool in bounty companies was hundreds of thousands of dollars, and this was practically the norm. It was also easier for participants in this and other similar forums because at first there were no bounty campaigns on social networks, but only signature campaigns. The influx of such a mass of participants who were ready to advertise crypto projects on social networks for much less reward has led to the current poor earnings for bounty hunters. I don't like it either, but there's nothing you can do about it. Sometimes I refuse to participate in signature campaigns and other campaigns due to a too small pool. Especially if the projects look suspicious.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is CBDC RUB in the Russian joke too?!
« on: December 09, 2022, 10:55:17 AM »
Judging by the fact that we have been talking about the digitized ruble in Russia for more than one year, and it is still not visible, this really looks like a joke. But this is hardly a joke. It seems that among the leadership of Russia there is no consensus on this issue, and therefore the situation cannot move forward. And the problem is not quite simple for quick implementation. Indeed, in most countries the situation is approximately the same. Finances do not like quick decisions.

Ripple may rise to the price of one dollar, but this can be hoped for if the cryptocurrency enters a good bullish trend again. Without this, she will not be able to overcome such a rise alone, even if the lawsuit from the SEC, which has been going on for several years, is won. It should be said that in some countries XRP is valued not only for fast and cheap transactions, but also for a small price just for use as a means of payment. But let's see how it will be in reality.

75
Some analysts, having analyzed the charts of the movement of the price of bitcoin, believe that bitcoin may soon begin to move up and reach the price of 110 thousand dollars. Therefore, it is clear that we have already passed the worst time of the current crypto winter. If there is no more bad news for the cryptocurrency again, then the market may begin to grow in the near future. The only question is when this will happen. Let's hope it's soon.
