Litecoin Forum / what are the advantages of litecoin
« on: October 15, 2018, 03:17:52 AM »
Hello,

i just read about litecoins and realized that litecoins are usually mined by CPUs.
I have a lot of servers in datacenters with much unused CPU performance.

Does it make sense to use these servers for litecoin mining to earn some money?

Thanks.

Centralization of Exchange into Crypto's Worst Enemies
As a gateway to the cryptocurrency world, centralized exchanges have accumulated a large amount of influence over the years. These companies control the power to create or destroy blockchain projects, and usually the only business that remains profitable despite the volatility experienced by the crypto market experience.

All this wealth and influence has led to a very unethical market manipulation and exploitation that exposes precisely why decentralized exchanges are needed now more than ever before.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: EOS or Ethereum.
« on: October 15, 2018, 03:09:30 AM »
The EOS community will be launching the EOS.io mainnet when the clock hits 6pm EST on Saturday, June 2nd. This is an intriguing point in time for the blockchain community, during which Ethereum will be faced with its first legitimate competitor in the space. The smart contract war begins.

Competition drives innovation, and competition between smart contract platforms has the ability to push the boundaries on scalability – fostering a solution which may or may not be either EOS or Ethereum – and with the requirements needed for mainstream consumer-grade blockchain adoption.

Crypto Reviews / ICO 2017 vs ICO 2018
« on: October 15, 2018, 03:05:05 AM »
Cryptocurrency market had good time with ICO’s in 2017 which had good profit and investors had gained x4 or x5 times profit within 3 months from the coins launch date. However 2018 ICO’s are struggling to reach its ICO price itself once they launch their coins in the exchange. There are good project coins which has gone down to the least price after launch.

Considering the fact, I think 2018 is a challenging and hard time for ICO’s.

Investing in the crypto world is arguably full of risks, but there is also a big profit opportunity behind it. This is because this cyptocurrency itself is still relatively new, and we are still really in the initial phase of the development of crypto.

Tokens/Coins Offerings (ICO, IEO, etc.) / Re: how to invest to ICO?
« on: October 15, 2018, 02:47:58 AM »
First of all you need to do your research and find an ICO you want to invest in. If you are looking to invest in an ICO I recommend checking out Propthereum.io, an asset backed cryptocurrency on the blockchain. Proceeds raised from their ICO will be used to purchase A-grade property worldwide. This property will generate a rental income and underlying value for the PTC token holder. Propthereum.io is the first coin in the world to be backed by property. The great thing about this concept is that the coin will always increase in value. They are live now so you can invest. Check out their whitepaper to find more information about their business plan.

Blockchain Technology / Blockchain will help Economy.
« on: October 14, 2018, 10:30:04 AM »
Blockchain was imagined as an approach to guarantee the dependability of the digital currency Bitcoin. It is a genuinely basic idea, an advanced record that record all exchanges that happen inside its framework, much like any firm or individual monitors their funds. The distinction is that the record is freely accessible to all individuals in the framework, making it difficult to adjust records without being recognized. This implies individuals can assume that money related records are totally exact without relying on a reliable outsider like a bank, a legislature or an application to affirm it.
This has expansive ramifications crosswise over numerous businesses. Not exclusively will it cut expenses and enhance proficiency by evacuating outsiders, it additionally considers far more noteworthy adaptability by giving exchanges which are an unchangeable reality, which can encourage the sharing of accounts. For instance, blockchain can enable companions to share protection, or neighbors to have a similar vitality contract and guarantee that everybody pays for precisely what they utilize.

According to the recent news from www.thenextweb.com, www.financemagnates.com
and many more sources it clearly indicates that something fishy is going inside the Binance exchange. Selling of user’s altcoin without their concerns has created a scene of panic. Due to which Binance has suspended withdrawals for the while, things seems to be unclear until any further update. Does this ignite the issue of security among exchanges once again?

« on: October 14, 2018, 10:08:58 AM »

XRP - Ripple Forum / Ripple or Bitcoin
« on: October 14, 2018, 10:01:18 AM »
Could Ripple XRP replace bitcoin before it is widely accepted?
If ripple allows users to send money instantly and almost fee free, with a pretty and easy to use UI.
Plenty of money to burn on advertising and reputation building.
Business and Financial connections likely to get them accepted on large merchant sites.
Why would the average person have any interest in Bitcoin?

More important could Ripple become controlled by business or government?

I'm not suggesting any of this is fact.
Just wanna hear the opinions of people that actually know stuff.

Philippines (Tagalog) / Bawal ang Cryptocurrency sa Security Bank
« on: October 14, 2018, 09:59:40 AM »
During the interview I was asked about my sources of income and the interviewer asked me if I am involved with Bitcoin and similar things and I honestly said yes but pointed out that this account is for PayPal and not for cryptocurrency transactions.

Ang reason na binigay ng interviewer is that the Central Bank has warned them about Bitcoin and similar business transactions as banks are not authorized to handle the same and if ever I am caught depositing or sending money from Bitcoin encashment to my account then the bank can forfeit the same money that's why the warning.

Totoo rin ata to sa iba pang bangko lalo na yung mga sikat at malalaki though I was able to deposit money to my Metrobank account before from Coins.Ph.
