If Bitcoin proves itself worthy enough, it won't be hard for some, if not Most of the whole crypto currency index, to move to Bitcoin in short amount of time. Any money invested in alt coins can easily be transferred into Bitcoin and the value of Bitcoin is not lost.

Litecoin Forum / Re: how fast litecoin is transact?

Litecoin is one of the most prominent altcoins and was created by former Google employee and Director of Engineering at Coinbase, Charlie Lee. Litecoin was the first to alter Bitcoin and the most significant difference is that it takes 2.5 minutes for Litecoin to generate a block, or transaction, in comparison to Bitcoin’s 10 minutes.

Now, the big guys are coming and there is one thing that makes all the difference, they will physically back their leveraged trading with Bitcoin. That means, they will need to buy the Bitcoin first from the market, driving up the price.

There is a lingering belief amongst the cryptosphere that all we will need is an ETF on bitcoin to unlock massive amounts of money that are just aching to come into crypto.

Ethereum Forum / Re: I currently have 5 ETH. I should buy an ICO
« on: November 07, 2018, 08:15:34 PM »
Those wishing to invest and make a political statement at the same time might be attracted by something like Putincoin or Trumpcoin. There is even a Useless Ethereum Token (yes, that’s its actual name), which criticises the very concept of ICOs on its website. And yes, they’ve raised quite a bit of money.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!!
« on: November 07, 2018, 08:13:44 PM »
I can tell you this much, there is no 3rd gen crypto currency. ETH is leading 2nd gen. I believe 3rd Gen would have to learn from our successes and mistakes. I believe it would have to be free at the entry level. And have democratic ramifications outside of the speculative value. Something much, much deeper than just money.

« on: November 07, 2018, 08:08:47 PM »
Sure, we can be born into it and fall into it. But so many successful people I met — from couples in blissful long-term relationships to successful career women to billionaires to profoundly happy people who have very little — became “lucky” because they think differently and take certain actions.

This means the platform is very well suited for people who are only looking to speculate on Ethereum’s price but not so much for people who want to actually hold their Ether in their own wallet.

Zcash Forum / Re: zcash old or buy and sell
« on: November 07, 2018, 07:55:05 PM »
Mining isn't for everyone, though. It requires a certain degree of knowledge and time. As so, buying Zcash directly from an exchange is often the easiest way to acquire it. However, registering on an exchange will often require you to reveal your personal information, but once you have Zcash in your wallet, you can always change it into a private address.
