Bitcoin Cash Forum / Re: Did you sell or buy BCH ?
« on: October 25, 2018, 07:14:44 PM »
If you have the coins in your private wallet then you can claim them after after Bitcoin Gold releases their software, which has not happened until now.
If you have your coins on an exchange you have to ask them if they will support Bitcoin Gold and credit your account with them.

The actual total volume should be lower since it is unlikely that all markets are completely efficient and received the same magnitude of above average volume like Gdax did during that 1-minute in question — But we will continue with this estimation for simplicity.

Bitcoin Cash Forum / Re: Bitcoin cash very good ?
« on: October 25, 2018, 07:11:26 PM »
Bitcoin Cash could convince enough people worldwide of its dominance, thus gaining mindshare, brand recognition, and the legitimacy it needs to really fight for the Bitcoin name. This would result in a ‘flippening’ — which short term would throw all the new people into a state of utter confusion and lead to possible massive losses in value as new people flee or are otherwise discouraged from buying. Long term though — BCC will have won.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!!
« on: October 25, 2018, 07:06:16 PM »
The answer is simple: hodlers recognize the true potential of blockchains and this allows them to adopt the long-view on their cryptocurrency holdings. Like value investors, short-term pullbacks in price mean little to them. Rather they relish when prices collapse because it lets them acquire more coins, cheaply.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Ethereum price down.
« on: October 25, 2018, 07:04:16 PM »
Looking at the ETH/USD daily chart we can see that the price has fallen below the inside pitchfork support line 2 and the 0 Fibonacci retracement level which served as support but as you can see a consolidative cluster inside off of the triangle formed which is known as a bearish pennant and is a considered as a trend continuation pattern.

Litecoin Forum / Re: Is litecoin worthy to hold?
« on: October 25, 2018, 07:01:35 PM »
Litecoin is a Bitcoin like P2P currency that is expected to produce 84 million LTCs, which is more than four times the total currency of Bitcoin. Dealing with transactions through the Scrypt Workload Proof Scheme, the development of FPGAs (Programmable Logic Gate Arrays) and ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuits) for the Scrypt algorithm is more expensive than the use of sha256 for Bitcoin.

Recent news in the Litecoin markets includes the introduction of the coin to CoinText. This product is set to make cryptocurrencies accessible to the everyday population.

Litecoin Forum / Re: price of litecoin before 2019.
« on: October 25, 2018, 06:54:31 PM »
Litecoin is one of the largest alternative crypto-currencies and was one of the first alt-coins. It is based upon the same source code as Bitcoin with some minor alterations. The idea behind light coin was to make a light weight, easily spendable version of Bitcoin used for low value transactions (coffee, shopping etc.). Litecoin 2019 value will largely grow in popularity due to its fair launch process, allowing the community to own a large and distributed share of the pie.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin is a new phenomenal innovation
« on: October 25, 2018, 06:52:53 PM »
I’ve always wondered how my parents perceived my growth at every stage of my life; from being a newborn, to being an adolescent, to now. The tiny baby they held in their arms has grown into this author today—indeed an overwhelming journey. Perhaps, that’s exactly how Satoshi Nakamoto (original identity unknown) felt after seeing their own invention, blockchain, grow up to be the most disruptive innovation in the tech sphere today.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is Bitcoin a religion?
« on: October 25, 2018, 06:47:27 PM »
“In our secular culture, we have sort of replaced religion with capitalism or, rather, this rampant consumerism,” Liston told me. “0xΩ isn’t a direct critique of that, but I think it’s definitely a clear point to make.”

Bitcoin Forum / Re: My sweet and bitter experience about bitcoin
« on: October 25, 2018, 06:44:09 PM »
I started my cryptocurrency journey around July 2017. I bought some altcoins; verge; dodge, Xrp Siacoin on Bittrex and left some on bitcoin. It was a roller coaster for me around November to December 2017, particularly with verge, my crypo investment of just about $120 grew to a little bit over $3,000. I never new on time until I opened my bittrex.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: In future there will be no use of bank
« on: October 25, 2018, 06:41:59 PM »
EVA is a hypothesis; a fascinating aspect of the concept though is the blurring it suggests between banking and other services. Money management is a means to an end; merging it with aspects of our daily lives that we manage money for makes some sense. In that case, the bank would indeed take much more of a back seat and it’s hard to see how, in such a future it would own the customer relationship.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Starting with nothing in Bitcoin
« on: October 25, 2018, 06:36:00 PM »
Bitcoin has never been this popular. Sure, there’s still plenty of controversy surrounding the cryptocurrency, but that hasn’t stopped thousands of businesses all over the world from accepting Bitcoin at checkout — including Newegg. It also hasn’t stopped millions of people in emerging markets from using it to replace their national currency.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: They want you to panic
« on: October 25, 2018, 06:30:00 PM »
When I had my first panic attack at the age of 19, I believed with absolute certainty that I was in mortal danger. I lie in my dorm room bed for what felt like hours, clutching my pounding heart and gasping for air. Fifteen interminable minutes later, it was as if it had never happened, and I felt relatively normal — but that wouldn't be the last incident. I went on to have many more panic attacks, and have since been diagnosed with a panic disorder (PD).
