Litecoin Forum / Re: Future of Litecoin

Litecoin (LTC) is with no doubt one of the strongest crypto projects in the market. It is fast, has low cost transactions, and has the lightning network, which makes it almost infinitely scalable. However, Charles Lee, the main person behind Litecoin has been making moves that in the grand scheme of things put to question the future of this crypto.

Litecoin Forum / Re: Litecoin will replace the BTC?

Both arguments make sense in their respective rights and its good to measure both arguments to come to an all-inclusive decision. This can only be done by examining both the traditional financial systems and the emerging crypto blockchain technologies. By doing this, we will be able to tell the impact Bitcoin will have on the financial system and whether it can replace fiat currency.

Ethereum Forum / Re: When ETH be stable
« on: October 27, 2018, 06:10:16 PM »
Well said. It does us more good to be friendly and welcoming then shunning the poor benighted masses trying to get a feel for ethereum. It took me months of studying to fully wrap my head around all the implications for Ethereum, and to ignore the FUD from other subs and forums back before the pre-sale. This is a paradigm shift, and they simply don't have the mental framework in place to understand it at first. I know I didn't.

Litecoin Forum / Re: Good time to buy Litecoin?
« on: October 27, 2018, 06:08:24 PM »
Litecoin has the potential to grow exponentially. In fact, “with a couple of exceptions, Litecoin’s price has toed the line with Bitcoin’s price,” says Investopedia’s Rakesh Sharma. And so far, only 64% of Litecoin’s 84 million coins have been released into circulation, with roughly 30 million to go.

Litecoin Forum / Re: Litecoin VS. Bitcoin
« on: October 27, 2018, 06:06:12 PM »
Released on 7 October 2011 by former Google employee Charlie Lee, Litecoin (LTC, Ł) is an open source, peer-to-peer cryptocurrency – that is a digital currency operating independently of any country’s central bank. While similar to bitcoin in many ways, Litecoin has also incorporated several features (such as Segregated Witness) which they describe as improvements to help to reduce bottlenecks in the network and increase the speed with which transactions are carried out.Bitcoin has been criticized for its use in illegal transactions, its high electricity consumption, price volatility, thefts from exchanges, and the possibility that bitcoin is an economic bubble.Bitcoin has also been used as an investment, although several regulatory agencies have issued investor alerts about bitcoin.

Litecoin Forum / Re: Litecoin for beginners
« on: October 27, 2018, 06:04:41 PM »
Having started from very modest origins and demonstrating only subtle technical improvements over bitcoin, Litecoin (LTC) has grown to become one of the top cryptos by market cap. It is now often characterised as the silver to bitcoin’s gold, but there’s far more to the currency’s growth than meets the eye.

If was on 17 satoshis on that time but on last week few big investors bought lots of doges therefore price was increased and now that was on 22 satoshis.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin has no competition

Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children
« on: October 27, 2018, 05:56:19 PM »
So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: In future there will be no use of bank
« on: October 27, 2018, 05:53:27 PM »
From the creation of the first banks during the Middle Ages through the late 20th century, the greatest virtues in finance included stability, security, wealth and trust. Those principles were visible in bank buildings: solid, hulking constructions of impassive stone that said to clients, “We’ve got lots of money, and yours will be safe here.”

Bitbonkers is a unique website that shows the Bitcoin blockchain’s blocks and transactions with balls and squares that fall from the sky. Giant 3D squares represent recently mined blocks, while various sized 3D spheres represent transactions. A big purple ball is 1000 BTC, blue spheres are 100-1000, and smaller balls represent transactions down to 1 BTC. The website also records the current amount of BTC falling and the biggest transactions

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why people trust on Bitcoin?
« on: October 27, 2018, 05:47:04 PM »
In the world of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin has come out as the clear winner in terms of value, trust and reliability. While the market for cryptocurrency can still fluctuate dramatically over short spans of time, it is becoming far more stable as the months pass. However, with the rapidly changing nature of Bitcoin prices, it would be reasonable to expect that this type of currency would be quite difficult to trust.
