Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Simple practices to improve trading.
« on: May 24, 2024, 09:23:06 PM »
Usually more people will eventually give up on the process they are doing, because long periods of time sometimes make us bored and that will encourage us to stop, so a strong mentality is also really needed when we learn.

We usually want to get things very quickly, and that is human nature. This is something we have to fight against, because it usually tends to dominate our minds.

Between holding and trading, people tend to runaway from the two quicker than we expect most especially the newbies because they don't have what crypto need. They lack patience to hold and patience to trade, they just think you can plug money from this space and become a millionaire over night but this things take times. Sometimes, I do have thought about teaching people how to be patience before putting money into crypto, it will help them navigate through any negative thoughts of abandoning crypto when they experienced small loss.

Hello everyone, I assume most of us are familiar with staking as a passive income avenue, whether on DEX or CEX platforms.

I'd like to ask, what factors do you consider before choosing a platform for staking? Is it flexibility, APY, or something else? Secondly, which platform do you believe offers the best APR for staking BTC, USDT, and ETH? Please share your opinions.

First thing I look for staking is locking condition, whether it's decentralized or it's centralized, I want to check that the locking condition end as soon as that times reach, there shouldn't be any hidden condition, it happen to eth2.0 staking condition and when it was time, they couldn't allow allowed people to unstake for the fear of dumping.

I prefer decentralized exchange but if I must use centralized exchanges, I will check their assets reserved to make sure they have coins for liquidity. Sometimes these exchanges only have numbers and not as they claim and I can only stake altcoins, Bitcoin will have to go to external wallet.

Yes, that can be a motivation for them, if Atalanta can surprise them, of course they can too. However, the difference is that some succeed and some fail, and we don't know whether they will succeed in providing that surprise or not.

Now that the opportunity is still there, they must ensure that they are ready for this match. They don't have to think about anything, because it will be a burden for them, they can play freely so they can carry out the strategy given by the coach as well as possible.

Dortmund are different in this situation, the way Atalanta played Bayern Leverkusen, you will think they weren't ready because there defenders were looking like guys that ate heavy food, Xabi might have his reasons for not making substitution for those guys but they look weak, heavy and lose because when player score a goal for the first time. You need to make a quick adjustments without compromising the where the rest of the players are protecting yet he never did anything about them.

I'm not sure if Dortmund will stand for the same ginger but Real Madrid will do more than what Atalanta played against Leverkusen as winning this is a going to be a history in Spain, 15 Champions League in the history of of European football.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Has the bear market started?
« on: May 24, 2024, 07:41:40 PM »
Those who believe will still believe that a more powerful bounce will occur in cryptocurrency prices after the halving. However, for those who are afraid, they will be afraid and sell when they feel that their position is no longer safe to hold. I can still be confident in Bitcoin at the moment, even though the last few days have seen very significant price changes, and the last one was a correction when it managed to stay at $70k for two days, now to a price level of $68k.

Just look at the reflection again, it will be higher than before.

I think more than 70% of people are still bullish about this market because they know that the market has a pattern which happen always after the halving, like this week Monday when CPI was announced, the market saw a tremendous bounce to $70k plus, this shows that everyone are just sitting on the corner waiting for the bullish news that will start the run.

We might later see a correction in Bitcoin this year if there is not comfirmation of bull run continuation but I'm very certain that bullrun is going to happen. Where would Microstrategy and Blackrock get liquidity to sell some of their ETFs, it will kill the market and we will be back to bear market and that is the least thing institutional investors want to see right now.

I always like it when players know that it is time for them to retire after having a very successful career. Some will want to keep playing until injuries force them to retire. He is a successful player, but he is not the most successful player because he did not win the Ballon d'Or. He's a very experienced player and his experience will be very needed for Germany in the euro 2024 as they hope to host and win the competition. If he can achieve that, his chapter as a football player has closed beautifully.

Despite Anceloti talk with Tony Kroos, he stood in his ground and I think respect that very much even when it's obvious that he is well paid in Real Madrid, he decide to go and face his family and his academy unlike Hazard that wasn't playing and not fit but he was on pay roll eating all the money from Real Madrid without any honor.

It's better that he left, I'm sure there has been talk even before now, Modric will be able to support the team as a midfielder together with Bellingham and Mbape can be able to have place without affecting Rodrigo and Vinicious.

"If Mike Tyson will go in 100% in this fight? I will put my money on him.
Even when Mike Tyson go full at 100%, I will not bet my money for him why, because Mike Tyson is a retired boxer, why Jake Paul the YouTuber is still active boxing.

This shows is just entertainment between old boxer and a new boxer, trying to mix to people to make boxing entertaining and probably raise the bar. The last time, we saw a match between Nganu and Anthony Joshua, it was like an African fight between Nigeria and Cameroon, and it gave Africa limelight about how far it's improving here in the root.

Everyone is anticipating for Mike to lose because he is old but don't get shock later, that man has knocked out a lot of big guys in the past and he is still capable.

Ethereum Forum / Re: CAN I EARN JUST BY HOLDING MY ETHEREUM
« on: May 23, 2024, 05:57:41 PM »
I’ve been holding onto my Ethereum and Bitcoin cash for a while now, and honestly, I’ve been unsure about what to do with it. I know ETH is a valuable asset, but simply holding it doesn't seem like the best way to maximize its potential. Price has been flying up and down recently, but i'm bullish on it with the upcoming ETF approval, that is if it was approved it will be a plus for most retail holders like myself. Do you have any idea how i can make the most out of my holdings.

If Ethereum ETF finally get approval, we will see rallies on altcoins and ethereum together with Bitcoin has high chance of breaking the all time high. So my advice is that you should keep your ethereum tight, there is high tendency of Ethereum reaching 10k price, staking your Bitcoin might comes with lock condition that might stop you from selling.

Even with decentralized staking finance like compound finance reward are low, I don't know what you want to do with 3.5 p.a interest on your ethereum you have hold for long time.

General Discussion / Re: Why is my life so sad? What should I do?
« on: May 23, 2024, 05:41:15 PM »
You control your own life and choose to be happy as life is so short to be full of misery. Problems will pass and don't be too attached to it as that will make you sad. Seek family support if you have problems, open up to them on how can you be happy because being open to your family will free yourself of worries.

I just checked OP last seen was August 2022, he even left before I became too active here but I think his description of depression is money. He is a Bounty hunger and airdrop kind of person and perhaps he came to the forum with the hope of making something but that time Bounties weren't active here and most of them turned out to be scam.

Many people are not happy and think there current financial situation will not lead the any where but some of us has been there, done it and beat it and life is better today, there is nothing to worry over something you can't control.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Do professional traders lose money?
« on: May 23, 2024, 05:19:38 PM »
Just recently had a friend lost on ETH long, he did made a lot of money from trading, he did lose a lot of money from trading as well. Things are not that clear black/white in the real world, just because you think that things will do fine, you are not going to get that. Sometimes you get good results, sometimes you get terrible results, you are not going to be all that enticing when you are dealing with all of this. I personally believe that we should consider professional traders as humans just like all of us and not put them on some pedestal above everyone else, they are good, but of course they make mistakes as well.

You should have told us how your friend lost money in ethereum long position. I think every serious traders make use of stop loss to trigger any unwarranted loss or did your friend mismanaged leverage and think he can make money after ethereum ETF was announced. I'm thinking the latter is the cause because I remember when it was announced that Ethereum ETF has 75% chance of approval and that set in 18% profit.

I just wish traders can stop chasing high leverage trading, you will likely lost money trading futures than making money from it unless you get the unusual luck.

I don't anticipate the finals of UEFA to be as lively as thought. The finals are going to be a tough one and it will come with back-and-forth aggressiveness attacks that Real Madrid and Dortmund will give each other space to dominate the match more than the other. It will be the team that the God of soccer is for, should have the better play and win the match because the finals of a league match is taken very seriously

Looking at how Europa League ended yesterday, who would have thought that Atlanta would lead with goals yesterday but they made history against Bayern Leverkusen that were unbeaten this season only to conceded 3 good goals from Ademola yesterday, Leverkusen didn't just lost, the conceded historical goals in the history of European leagues with a hatrick.

Real Madrid are good but they need to cautious of Dortmund, they are equally good as well and should not be joke with, they can pull any hard game for them especially that they are playing final.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Food Shortage
« on: May 23, 2024, 05:01:27 PM »
Actually the cause of food shortage in a society or a country occur when the country does not have enough food supply and when there is a shortage of food in the society and food shortage can occur in a country when the consumption rate is more than the  production rate, and food shortage can occur in a war torn countries, a country where there is insecurity and crisis can cause food shortage to that nation.

Not only war and insecurities can make a country to have a shortage in food supply, the government policy can make food to be scares and expensive. For instance, in a situation where the government doesn't offer subsidy to farmers in agriculture, it will discourage a lot of farmers to continue and the ones farming will sell their agriculture products and produce at high price even when they are limited in number.

When the government doesn't give amenities to rural areas, it discourage the farmers. It's only when the government gives grants and loans to them, farming can loom in a country, without farmers the country will die of hunger from poor to middle-class and the rich people.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Hold and trade which is best for you?
« on: May 23, 2024, 04:53:38 PM »
Yes both holding and trading depends on one's personal factors and risk management and patience. so if one has sufficient amount of funds to invest for long term he should do holdings.  And if one can take risk and have enough funds to trade then he can trade. I do both holding and trading as per my convenience. Day trading is risky but profit can be made using different strategies but it requires long experience.

You can't trade all the coins and you can't hold all coins no matter how special they are, some coins pop up during bull run and such type of coin can only be enjoyable when you trade them and take profits at any small pump you and enter again when there is a correction but make sure you have a stop loss to avoid unnecessary losses.

The only time I will consider holding coin is during the bear market, literally when the market is dry without any profits, this discourage traders and it encourage people to hold because you will have the opportunity to buy this coins at cheap price and make a significant profits in bull run.

So Venezuela has become one of the countries that is banning cryptocurrency mining, along with China and Kazakhstan. And I think we should understand that the reason for this is that Venezuela has a real, big problem with its power supply though it is supposed to be so rich in oil and has been one of the top exporting gas supplier for the world. Due to economic mismanagement, things spiraled to its gloomy situation right now, years after the death of Hugo Chávez. This move by Venezuela can mean opportunity for other Latin countries willing to take mining business into their land.

It seems the country is generating low power and the electricity is nothing to take most home appliances but it's okay if they don't chase them out and Ban bitcoin, they should have allow then stay and then increase tax on them, it's going to be a win win for the country and the miners and the miner that doesn't want comply can just exit without wishing any thing.

The government needs to be considerate sometimes, chasing monitor and investors with when they need more source of tax is crazy. They could have even make it 50:50 so the country will earn more taxex from mining without telling the public.

Crypto analysis: BTC staying above $67,000 but still in threat to fall back 16% from current price

If Bitcoin maintains a stable close above $67,206, it could continue to rise towards the psychological level of $70,000. In a highly optimistic scenario, Bitcoin might even turn the $67,206 level into a support base, aiming for its all-time high of $73,777.

This moves was quick to happen after CPI result was announced and I think this is fake move. The thing is everyone believe after halving, Bitcoin tend to make a new all time high and everyone is waiting impatiently for it to happen, so at any slight opportunity they think the market is ready for that, this is why we saw the move that happened just because of the small news, when did we start to use CPI as a bullish signal, many will lose money on this moves the are so eager to see.

Meme Coins / Re: Top MEME Coins For 2025
« on: May 21, 2024, 11:06:13 PM »
Please share your thoughts on the upcoming Meme coin Pump for the mentioned coins, as how much they will pump?

It's a shame that the things we used to see as shitcoins are now what we endorsed and we love them more than even the real coins that has a functionality and utility but we prefer meme coins because of profit. I don't blame them though, the real coins that are supposed to be in demand has all failed to present what all of them promised during the pre-sale and public sale.
