It is very easy for you to say so now, remember between January to mid September Altcoins had a very strong run and some people were saying BTC is dead, the relationship between Bitcoin and Altcoins is see-saw and we are going to see Altcoins pump soon and BTC dominance is going to crash and people will be telling you their token going to replace Bitcoin again

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Countries To Open for Crypto in 2021?
« on: December 31, 2020, 12:29:03 PM »
I don't think any of these big economy will open up to Bitcoin or Crypto, it would be a gradual change and it is people that would open up to it  and when the large population is for something there is nothing they can do, people of Venezuela, Iran and Nigeria realise this and they make the shift to Cypto this is what would happen, Crypto makes Government to lose control over our finances and they don't want this to happen

If you invest in some of these DEFI project promising 150000% APY and lose money you have yourself to blame, there is a reason why some of these companies wait for this long before investing into Bitcoin and because they want to be sure it is indeed a good Store of Value (SOV) there is no need to FOMO into any project, research and then invest but invest reasonably

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Crypto iN all Over the world
« on: December 27, 2020, 06:51:09 PM »
I think it is a wishful thinking to say Crypto will be used all over the world, Digital currencies can be used all over the world and I think a Digital Dollar will kill many national currencies, just look at what happen to Lira this year, and I believe more developing countries would suffer this fate if their economy didn't pick up fast in 2021, I have been encouraging my people now to save in BTC and USD because it is to me the most stable of this Fiat currencies

Yes, it can. If a token has no demand in the market, the news of more tokens coming to the market can crash the price. This has happened over and over. I personally do not buy into the team holding huge amount of tokens, since new tokens can be created, why not let the community determine the amount of tokens to incentive the team since they have already collected funds from investors

It is not a sin to hope for your projects to do 10X and above, to be sincere good developers do not come cheap and you need good incentives to hold on to them. I have seen some team that started together and after some time some of the team members decided they want to start their own project and move away from the cuurent one this create a huge gap for them. So these team need money to pay for good developers and hold on to them long term to be able to deliver on their promise

The influx of institutional money entering the space is making BTC a solid investment, I believe there is a lot of profit taking by retail investors during this festive period and also small whales in the space but the demand seems to be on the increase. What I'm waiting for the way it would behave when the US free money start.

Voting / Re: Your best decentralized Oracle choice
« on: December 26, 2020, 07:59:59 PM »
For now, Link still lead the Oracle space and the team seems to have strong partnership to back it up. DIA is one that I am looking into personally because out of the three projects it is still greatly undervalued. I believe the space is big enough for the 3 projects to be successful

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What Will It Be Like: 2021?
« on: December 25, 2020, 08:37:28 PM »
I have a feeling this Covid madness will persist until those making money true it are satisfied before they go back to the climate change talk again, having said all those I expect the Government intervention to continue, more free money to keep entering the economy and this is very good for Bitcoin price but not really sure how Altcoins are going to benefit from it

YFI and some other projects in the space show us that it is possible to kick start a project without raising money, YFI for example has market cap more than $500 million without raising a dime and this should be what the space need to be fighting for now instead of selling their projects and tokens to VCs. Just look art what Satoshi did with BTC not VC fund and has 70% dominance in the space. It is fear of failure and lack of clarity on what they want to build

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What do you fear the most about crypto
« on: December 25, 2020, 08:14:11 PM »
My fear is Bitcoin getting hacked, if this happens then this could be the beginning of the end for the whole space. I believe that anything hackable would be hacked is a matter of time and if there is any vulnerability in the Bitcoin network it would be found and this would bring the whole space down, no matter which tokens or coins you are holding because investors trust would have been destroyed in the network

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Your Christmas Wish For Cryptocurrency

To always make the right investment decisions and make life changing wealth in the space. There are still 100x projects in this space that $1000 investment would turned to $100k and if you make 10 of this, you are a millionaires, the questions is how to know these projects and will you have patient not to sell early

74
I have no doubt, Altcoins too will have their time, remember for greater part of this year, it was Altcoins that was performing exceedingly until September peak, nobody talk about BTC then. I think what people need to understand is the BTC dominance in the space and this need to reflect in our capital allocation, there is a reason why it has close to 70% dominance

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Which of these coins is better?
« on: December 23, 2020, 05:17:56 PM »
I can't invest into any of these projects, I always have issues with projects where huge number of the tokens are yet to be distributed, and when they are released they are to few hands. But out of the three, I will pick Tron, Tron has the strongest community out of the 3 and the developer is applying the concept of  trying to fake it until you make it
