I think if the price of bitcoin crosses $100k this year then bitcoin can move from ninth position to fifth position.  Moreover, with the way Bitcoin is gaining popularity, in the distant future ten years from today, Bitcoin may occupy the third best position.  Moreover, if the various countries of the world give Bitcoin acceptance and universality, I don't think it will take 20 years for Bitcoin to overtake gold.  But in my opinion, both gold and bitcoin are going to become the world's most popular investment platforms very quickly.
I even believe that BTC can enter the top 5 in this cycle when BTC reaches 150K - 200K USD, meaning that BTC cap can compete with NVIDIA, Apple and Microsoft cap. However, I also see that the rate of BTC price increase is slowing down and it is very difficult for us to accurately predict the time when BTC cap can surpass Gold cap. When BTC reaches 500K USD, fiat has also lost a lot of value and the Gold price can completely increase and Gold cap can exceed 20T USD.

Anyway, Gold cap could be a worthy goal for BTC to aim for in its journey to develop and be widely accepted globally as a valuable reserve asset!

Well that could be our aim to surpassed Gold, but this market is decentralized, so I guess we all wanted it to happen but there will be no consensus and only time will tell.

And as far as my memory serves me right, this is always going to be the case for Bitcoin every bull run, we will jump up in rankings as far as market valuation and then we go back down when the market crashes or goes on a bearish cycle.

Gambling discussion / Re: What inspired you to gamble?
« on: March 31, 2024, 11:03:01 AM »
I am a sports-loving person and so I grew up watching sports like football, wrestling, basketball, and car racing. When I came to know about sports betting, I was inspired to give it a try since naturally, I enjoy watching sports games. The main aim was to have fun by trying to beat the bookies. Not to win and make money but rather to show how good I am with predictions in football and basketball.

Yes, and in my case, it was my father who is a big influence on me, I remember that when I was a little he used to bet on horse racing and so I feel in love with it and I become a sports fans.

So far so good I am still enjoying gambling. It is a pastime activity for me during weekends. I love it when I bet on a team and watch the team play. It gives a different vibe to the game and makes it even more interesting regardless of the outcome of the game.

And isn't enjoyable to watch your favorite teams or athletes and then bet on the game itself. And it is double fun when you see then wins and obviously you will cash out your winnings as well. Well if this lose at least you get the chance to see them play and gave their all in a losing cause.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What tokens are trending?
« on: March 31, 2024, 10:32:51 AM »
Guys let's talk about trending tokens. Recently , many tokens are thriving and have made their investors some good gains.
which ones are currently trending, and is it too late to invest in them?

Why not look at https://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/ and see which one is trending upward and which coins are going down. Nevertheless, if you are looking for coins to invest just because they are trending, then you might be in for a big surprise as usually those coins after being pump so hard will eventually have to go down.

And you might be late to invest on them as you will be trap inside and the only way for you go get up is to sell at a loss which is not our aim in this market. But if you want to invest on upcoming tokens, there's no problem with it, but you have to research first and invest with due diligence.

I voted for yes, it's not that I'm a pro SBF, no I'm not. But if you look at the justice system of the US, usually they handed like 20 years prison sentence. So this is just about as normal as what the judge can give to SBF.

I'm not familiar with U.S. laws, but do you mind share article or news which state about usually handling 20 years sentence? After all, we've seen more serious sentence like this, Sholam Weiss appeals 845-year sentence for life insurance plot where both him and SBF was involved on billions of USD.

Yes, he is still young when he got out of prison, but who knows, I mean there's a lot of things that is going to change in that time frame and maybe we will forget all about this guy in the future.

And if people in the future still doesn't bother perform research, he probably will scam them again.

I'm basing it all on what I read on the other forum mate, we have a legal board there. And when I visited it, usually those who posted the crimes and sentence are around 20 years even if the subject has been tried in absentia.

Well people change, could be for the worst or better. So hard to see what SBF will come up once he goes out in jail. Maybe he will involved himself in crypto again and find another way to scam.

Gambling & Crypto Casinos / Re: Is Anyone here playing on L0tt0.com?
« on: March 31, 2024, 09:21:17 AM »
I'm among the first users of the L0tt0.com and I'm the first one to test the platform and write a review about it on Bitcointalk. A few weeks ago I managed their review campaign on Bitcointalk, and it was a quite good one.

The owner of the site is a great friend of mine and a very nice guy. Overall, I believe L0tt0.com is a quite good site that everyone should try at least for a once.

They are also planning to have another review round and this time I will suggest the owner to have the review campaign active on this forum as well.

I only played once to be honest, when it was heavily promoted in the other forum and yeah I recognized your name. And the signature campaigns was obviously a good promotion but it was on hold as far as I can remember.

Good if they are planning to have a new review round and it will be here in this community.

More exposure means more possibilities not just for this platform but for any other platform as well to be exposed with gamblers.

And so there was a upset in this fight, no body shots whatsoever by straight up bloodied fight between the two warriors. But in the end if was Fundora who win. Judges score the fight, David Sutherland (115-113 for Fundora) and Steve Weisfeld (116-112), while Judge Tim Cheatham marked it 116-112 for Tszyu.

Tszyu was cut though, throughout the fight, and it started with a elbow in round 2. And after that he really struggled in the next 10 rounds. And Fundora take advantage of it, albeit he also had blood in his nose and both corners had to really work it out to keep the blood from their fighters. There is a rematch clause in this fight, so let's see if Tim will exercise it.

but that's what bitcoin is like, where miracles can happen in a short time. Maybe you didn't realize that in the previous cycle even reaching $69k seemed impossible before the 2020 halving occurred. However, it turned out that the bullrun lasted for so long and caused a new ATH price to be created.

For this year's halving moment, I think we can still look forward to this miracle, because of that, I think there are still many who are holding and even buying more at this time. ...

$150k is still unlikely right now, but when prices start to rise and MicroStrategy doesn't sell its BTC at this time, it could happen.
Wow, I'm even worried that $160K is too low of an expectation for BTC in this bullrun because BTC has created a new ATH before the halving and the upward momentum is extremely strong ^^

Depends on who you asked, of course, we want to see higher price than that so that we can get a good ROI. Nevertheless, $160,000 is already a great prediction and who knows, maybe we can achieved that in this bull run as this could be massive.

Halving is just the beginning of the bullrun, it could be a good time for many holders to sell to take profits but the uptrend of BTC price will not be affected. I don't think we need to worry too much about this, BTC will soon give us the answer this year and next year  8)

Or Halvening is the catalyst for a bull run. It's been proven already that every 4 years we will see new all time high. But the only difference right now is that we have achieved new all time high before the halving itself. Time for accumulation is the bear market as the price is really cheap specially if you invested when FTX collapsed, pushing the price to just $15,500.

Or maybe Canelo is like acting "hard to get" so that his stock will continue to go higher and the Saudis are going to offer him huge money for a fight with either Benavidez or Bivol for a rematch. That's the thing though with being the boxing face and cash cow, he can dictate his terms and has total control of his career. Specially after he left GBP, his career decision and money went off the road with his DAZN contract and with Eddie Hearn or PBC even if just 1 fight.

Canelo said in an interview that it would take "150-200 million USD" for him to fight Benavidez, that's a lot of money and i think no promoters will give out that kind of amount for him even the billionaires of Saudi Arabia won't take that bait. This only shows that he is not keen on fighting Benavidez as of this time.

Hehehe, but who knows? maybe the billionaires in Saudi is willing to pay Canelo with that big money to fight Benavidez. David though will really need to prove himself. I mean if you look at who's who the Saudi's wanted to see and fight in their country, they are all big names.

So maybe is Benavidez won at 175 lbs and then faces the winner of Bivol vs Beterbiev. Then maybe the Saudi might be swayed to believed that Benavidez also deserves a good paycheck vs Canelo in the future.

Yeah, that would be a good route for David Benavidez to fight Canelo in the future. David must proved himself that he deserve to face Canelo by defeating the winner of Bivol vs Beterbiev match-up. On the other hand, if that dream fight happen and indeed David will win then this might be the reason also that Canelo will chicken-out on fighting Benavidez hehe.

This fight is going to happen, I see this fight maybe in 2025. It's just Canelo wanting Benavidez to win more and so it's worth for him to give him the ticket to fight him.

And it could be that David Benavidez doesn't have the fans based that Munguia has. Munguia is young and has the looks to back up his boxing skills. As compare to Benavidez who might not have the fan base yet although he is a champion and the future of boxing. So everything for Canelo is business and the most money that he can take home.
But it doesn't make sense for Canelo to ask for Benavidez to prove himself. David is former champion as well. And then Canelo fighting a 154 lbs and has to move to 168 lbs? And now fighting a Mexican which totally contradicts what he said before. So for me, Canelo as I have said is full of contradiction and just wanted to fight not for legacy but for the money. And he seems to be excluded by the broker in Saudi Arabia. While the likes of Bivol and Beterbiev and now Benavidez are being appreciated and they are getting career paychecks fighting in the Middle East.

Yes, for boxing fans, it doesn't make sense as Canelo is no longer chasing greatness as he think that he has achieved it already. And so with that, he is looking for less risk higher rewards.

Canelo is not getting any younger as well, he has wear and tear already and that's why he wanted to avoid Benavidez at all cost without damaging his health and at the same time making good money. And I guess he will stand with that $150m-$200m money he want to fight Benavidez but not sure if here will be a promoter that is willing to give him that big money.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Halving likelihood to be in red?
« on: March 30, 2024, 04:51:01 PM »
If you learn it, you must be aware that it will last 4 years. 2 years for bearish and 2 years for bullish. We just experience 1 year bullish season, there should be 1 more year. And according to the history, the ATH of most coins will be in the 2nd year of bullish season. That's why people predicted the altcoins season and the ATH of BTC will be in 2025.
This is my first time seeing the 4 years cycle interpreted this way. It makes sense if you view the sideway accumulation that happens as bearish (or bullish, depending on how you see it). Most people that I know of use this 4 years time frame to refer to reaching new ATH after a significant dump or bear market, not necessarily how long or how high the bull run will be.

I think some people are new to the market, or believe that the cycle can be broken this time. They are afraid of big dumps or bearish months after halving happened. It is fair to assume so since nobody knows the future, but they should also prepare other plans in case we enter a new euphoria soon after.

I think there were impressions that the cycle can be broken because indeed we have seen the market getting into a new all time high prior to the halving. And that is the first and so with that, who knows, maybe we will see super bullish cycle or super bearish on in-between, it's hard to know for now.

But once thing is for sure, as we experience the halving, the price will go on a parabolic rise, as how big? we really can't say and only predict that a minimum of $100k can be reach this cycle.

If he goes toe to toe against Tszyu he will be in big trouble.

He will be in trouble indeed. It's a no-brainer that Sebastian Fundora will use his size and reach advantage as long as he can but Tim is a clever fighter and all he needs to do is to close the gap between them then the fight is going to be over if he could do that.

I reckon that this fight won't go the distance and it will be under seven rounds.

Both made the weight for their fight and so everything is now set. Looking at the over and under, you are spot on mate at 7.5 rounds. And if Tim can execute his plans of attacking the body of Fundora, then this fight is not going to last the full 12 rounds.

Fundora sooner or later might go and put his hands in his body to protect it and then Tim switching from body to the head if he sees that Fundora has adjusted, similar to what Brian Mendoza did to Sebastian.

And so institutions are not yet done,

Quote
On Friday, March 29, 2024, the combined open interest in bitcoin futures reached a new all-time peak of $37.55 billion. This uptick occurs amid buoyant bitcoin markets and a growing attraction from institutional investors.

https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-futures-open-interest-hits-record-37-55-billion-with-cme-leading-the-pack/

So that is a big number to see and with this kind of interest to the market, this bull run might be very different. I mean obviously, it has change the cycle, as we reach new all time high pre-halving. But with this kind of enthusiast from whales and Wall Street, we could really be in for at least 6 digits as our new all high this bull cycle.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Buy on dip
« on: March 28, 2024, 11:13:34 PM »
The market is experiencing a correction right now and making people panic. Do I buy in this condition? Of course but I don't use all my money to buy. I use the DCA strategy and only a few coins I invest. Just a suggestion, don't use all your money during a bear market.

As at January 2024, the market was extremely at high rate, and because of that most people where afraid to buy stocks to avoid big loss. Yes the market was on the bull run, but that doesn't mean you won't continue to make your money. You can purchase but not with all your money because you can't predict the market in the future..

But if we look at it's past history, let's say for Bitcoin, buy in the dip, or at least accumulate when the market is at low or bear market, hold for a long time and wait for the bull run.

And then we have those individuals, who take higher risk, but being a day trader and try to make money. That for me is very difficult because not everyone can be a trader. But if you are not technically equip with the knowledge of being a trader, maybe just become a investor and hold, it might be mentally difficult but at the end of the day, buy low sell high will prove correct in the end.

Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Info and Prediction Thread
« on: March 28, 2024, 12:07:24 AM »
I have posted this in the other forum, but it's also better to post it here as we have boxing fans that has teleported,
~snip~
https://twitter.com/MichaelBensonn/status/1771550634942111745

What do you think guys? It seems that Turki Alalshikh has a beautiful plan. Forget Canelo for now, it will be David Benavidez to fight the winner of Bivol and Beterbiev and it will be held on Saudi or course.

We have speculated though that him moving at 175 lbs, sooner or later will have to face the winner of that great fight.

Beautiful plan of Turki Alalshikh indeed and Benavidez is like winning the lottery without having to go through Canelo. The good thing about this Alalshikh is that he is very willing to shell out large amounts of money just to bring the best fights that fans wanted to see.

But this fight is going to be risky for Benavidez as either Bivol or Beterbiev is a monster at 175 so he must have a tune-up bout to acquaint himself to this division before facing the champion.
That's the advantage of the Saudi, they have a lot of money, and he is also really a big fan of boxing and knows that fight make sense and what fight is just for pure hype. And I like what David Benavidez did here, he engage Saudi's big boss through social media and so he has to respond to it. And the good thing is that he is all on-board with Benavidez and not Canelo. I think he see Canelo as somewhat arrogant boxer (this is just my speculation), just by interpreting his response. Nevertheless it's a great fight, no question about it. Benavidez vs Bivol, or Benavidez vs Beterbiev. A potential to be fight of the year.

Canelo, in an interview said that it would take 150-200 million usd for him to have a fight with Benavidez, that alone for me is a sign of arrogance and an act cowardness, no offense to Canelo fans but that is how some of us saw that one. Good thing that Saudi's big boss is not offerring the winner of Bivol vs Beterbiev to Canelo.

Yes, lately I will also say that Canelo is really being arrogant, or getting into someone's nerve with that ridiculous money that he wanted. He is even bending some rules as well like not fighting his mandatory and boxing organizations just say yes to his demand.

It will be his big loss if the Saudi big boss will ignore Canelo because of his attitude. What the Saudi want is the Benavidez fight the winner of Bivol vs Beterbiev obviously in Saudi.

There is no one to blame but the organizations themselves. They let Canelo do everything he can without any repercussions, allowed him to choose his opponents and then not forcing mandatories for him.

Now Canelo has to pay the price literally as he is being sidestep by the Saudis and not even invited to any event on the Middle East. While Benavidez and Beterbiev and Bivol are getting special treatment for His Excellency Alalshikh, being the biggest broker in boxing right now.
