Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Volatile Coins
« on: January 22, 2024, 08:32:16 AM »
Yes ! trading  volatile  coin or tokens is the shortest and fastest way to huge profits and vice versa I.e shortest and fastest way to huge loss but this loss can be minimised through a lot of methods that's why its required to learn alot  before boarding a volatile  market because there's a lot attached, knowing TA in not enough you need to  get your hands deepening learning

In my country, we're kinda odd so we do some crazy things and undo it later maybe when there's a change of constituted authority of that particular  aspect. Crypto was banned at first in my country due to  no particular  reason probably fraud or illegal activities or selfish-interest but now its has been undo just like that :D and now much more free as it used to be

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: How do I recover my stolen coin?
« on: January 21, 2024, 10:40:13 PM »
Misplaced is different from being stolen. If your coin was stolen from you there more likely no way to recover it especially if you are using personal wallet.
I get your point here but what's  the word "personal  wallet"???, it shouldn't be limited  to only non custodial Walslets but also custodial  as everyone own a personal wallet  but you can talk of it in more advance way using the word CW and NCW .
And a misplaced wallet phrase to a different or an untrusted  hand could also lead to a stolen coin but that's from a different perspection as you've  said

Our body be like motor car, when you dey service am well, change oil when you need to change oil, replace the worn out parts with the right ones, the car go give you ultimatum performance. If you take good care of your health, you go dey very sound mentally and physically.
I like your analogy  :)..... we are like engines though without proper check up and maintenance  we worn out but if the needful is done we stay active and well okay both physically and mentally  as you've  said.
However, most people  don't seem to get it, they think only about getting the money when they've  forgotten  the engine serving as a main structure of you having the ability  to gey the money, thus they might  even have some  sickness or disease that ought to have been treated  early but it gets too late by the time they realise, so guys let our Healthy life be our main priority

You are right. But it is also worth knowing that SPV wallets are using central servers and these servers are also owned by third parties. Also it is good to use Tor with SPV wallets, for your wallet balance, bitcoin addresses and IP address not to leak.
Thanks for this! but what of navigation  through mobile probably if I'm not on my  PC can I use  duckduckgo or is there Tor for phone

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin became “greener and cleaner”
« on: January 21, 2024, 09:29:37 PM »

I found this research not surprising at all. The world are failing to tackle the real cause of global warming while bitcoin critics says their own wrong decision. The earth was warmest in 2023, but bitcoin miners are moving towards clean energy which proves the critics wrong again.
Thanks for the research  :), Critics keeps on growing  from the previous years through till date, I wonder if they are getting paid by the Bitcoin  cripplers or probably  they are  :( . The main carbon  generators aren't  taken care of , we need to understand  that the world's population  keeps  on growing and we are spreading our territory therefore increasing  the fact that we are carbon  emitters and thus the ongoing  wars are the some kind of joke to the ozone layers, we kept on depleting the ozone layers from mechs but instead we decided to put this on Minning energy sources .... We are not falling  anytime  though ;D let's see how long  they last

Bitcoin Forum / Re: could adoption make BTC price less volatile?
« on: January 21, 2024, 09:16:33 PM »

and could adoption of BTC make the price less volatile that not too many people will sell and the price will be stable?

BTC  can never be stable probably  you mean less volatile  but I don't  see it getting  less volatile because the adoption  keeps increasing  and the acceptance becomes much more higher so I don't even  see it getting less volatile  sooner, maybe in the future though but not now.... the adoption  should create new ways of getting  BTC  exchange done and sooner I see it becoming more acceptable means of payment.

My goal is for BTC to reach $150K by 2025. Currently BTC can fall to $32.5K or increase to $50K, everything is not important. Market Maker won't be able to get my BTC ^^

We got BTC SPot ETF on Jan 11th, mate! Now we just follow its impact on BTC and the crypto market in long-term. I believe that the impact is positive and we will have new ATH for BTC this year  💪
Well, we might and it could show up next year but whatever will happen  should be spotted on the price movement  as the chart will always tell

No doubt I would not be surprised when such an event starts unveiling itself that crypto exchanges should forward the list of verified Nigerians on their platforms to start proper documentation for tax collection. My sister if that one happen you go begin count all the money wey you don make for this crypto and withdraw through exchange because you go pay your tax for all of them.
Naso dem dey start nah dem go make good statement,  enforce it , making us believe  they really  care about us only to cut  the majorities off and start making their minority  approves  laws to extorth, its  just the way centralized market works, they will always need a KYC verification for every account  which even differs from that of the third parties. However, if that very system is being introduced  there's  no way we are escaping it brotherly :D

How do I recover my stolen coin?
It can't  be recover if it's related to blockchain  but if you are using a custodial wallet  you can report  and maybe a freez could be issued on such account .
However, do you know you can avoid this dramas by being more security  conscious on link's and downloads and the most important is using a non custodial  wallet it's  free from third parties and its provides more security.
Furthermore, you need to be very sure of the kind of exchange parties to choose while buying, selling and swapping of your not to be a scam one and to check their  reviews  of previous swaps  from people if it's  positive.

Off topic & Sports / Re: How to survive in January on a low budget.
« on: January 17, 2024, 10:30:38 PM »
I know what you are asking this question and it is because of the excess spending if the holiday season. Life is all about planning. If you plan your life well then you will manage whatever you have to sustain in the period. Now all what you to do is a personal budget which you must follow. How much can be used every day and week. And don't over spend what you have plan to spend every day and week.
It's not easy to plan and get  totally along in the current situation of our beloveth  currency,  there will just be some disruption of plan and some new arrising events  which will require spending out of your plan and there's  no way to avoid it. Sometimes  to get on with our daily plans  seem impossible with the way the country is turning  into, there's always a need for extra spending  even of planned for.

Investing in Bitcoin and being a long-term investor will always win against inflationary fiat currencies.
This will always return true for every trial and will always prevail over fiat currency because  of its  openness and privacy, I love it when I hear the wordYour wallet your coin maybe not for a custodial  though but the fact that you are free of a fiat system is a good choice how ever don't  be subjected to third parties again  because it will make no sense to leave a fiat World only to be subjected by a fiat like state.
Fine you can use a custodial for cool things but remember  you wanna have perfect and total control over your coins , you need a non custodial  wallet.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Which Alt coins you are holding?
« on: January 17, 2024, 10:09:34 PM »

Ethereum is also suitable for the long term as it is a top altcoin capable of competing with Bitcoin.
If you buy below $1000 and hold it until now, it will bring a lot of profit.
Hoping that Ethereum can break through the $10k price on ATH later, it's not an impossible hope to see how Ethereum develops.
Does this ETH has a price movement  pattern of BTC considering  the period too

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Hold and trade which is best for you?
« on: January 17, 2024, 10:06:25 PM »
Both holding and trading are individual, some prefer long term holding and some prefer short term holding. Many prefer to trade holdings, some prefer trading, and some prefer futures trading. But for now long term holding is more profitable than short time holding.
You trade holdings only when you're  ready  to opt-out of that particular trade so everyone trades  their holding  on the point  of withdrawal  probably  to a more stable coin which is of less volatility  compare to the invested coin .
Also, depending  on the type of crypto you are holding  long term  might not be suitable  for  tokens not all though but if its  the BTC then holding for a longer period  of time is  the best practice  toearn more profit in BTC investment scheme, we have the short term investorto but  they opt out untimely  leaving  with little profits
