Ethereum Forum / Re: Eth hold or Trade?
« on: February 14, 2024, 01:03:27 PM »
I think they will approve, because the most difficult thing is always to get something approved for the first time. Do you agree? And since we have a successful experience of approving Bitcoin ETFs, Ethereum will definitely be approved.

After all, funds are interested in commissions, and Ethereum ETF is an additional choice for their users.

I have 40 percent Bitcoin, 40 Ethereum and 20 tokens of various types.

Yes, after the first ETF they approved of BTC, it's certainly easier for the rest to come, but my doubt still remains, let's see how the SEC will conduct
I'm sure it'll be the same as with BTC, which they pospone a lot hehe

The interesting thing about ETH today is that A LOT of ETH is now in stake, with the protocols they've launched, there are a lot of coins in stake and restake, this helps a lot in stabilizing the price and consequently has room to go up a lot

I am sure that the ethereum ETF will be adopted by the summer, which means you need to keep about 40 percent of ethereum in your portfolio (I do this, and many of my friends do). And a good solution would be to stake it on a trust account at 3.7 percent per annum. This is a safe way to slightly increase your share of Ethereum in your wallet until the summer, when its price may grow very much.

Do you think the SEC will actually approve the ETH ETF without first defining exactly what ETH is?
with the BTC ETFs I was more confident that they would approve it, but with ETH I still have my doubts

With 40% ETH in your portfolio, what is the percentage of BTC in your portfolio, for example?
40% in ETH is a good percentage for those who rely heavily on ETH  8)

Solana Forum / Re: The PYTH Ecosystem and the future of PYTH
« on: February 12, 2024, 01:45:09 PM »
For LayerZero until now I have never interacted in the ecosystem but for zkSync I have interacted quite a lot in the zkSync network.
Do you have NFT libertas if you do congratulations the price is now 0.1 ETH or the equivalent of $250 at the current rate.
Yesterday I saw on Twitter (X) someone said that the minimum stake was 250 PYTH but in my opinion it was just a suggestion because there was no official announcement from PYTH and I also did not stake that much because I was still exploring the ZKlink network.

I don't have this NFT libertas, and in fact I don't have any NFT  :P, I just interact with the services, with the blockchains, make bridges and so on, otherwise a lot of money is spent on a lot of uncertainty

250 PYTH at today's exchange rate is around 140 dollars, it's not that high and it may pay to leave it in stake to "run the risk" of being eligible for an airdrop

1000 pyth is already 550 dollars, if you really believe in the coin's potential, it's also a reasonable amount to invest and can pay off, but I can't at the moment
Too much to explore right now hehe

Solana Forum / Re: Solana network shuts down, will you still invest in SOL?
« on: February 11, 2024, 07:36:13 PM »
I am invested in Solona and will continue to invest in it.

I didn't know you were a Solana investor philipma1957
I thought you only had BTC, DOGE and a few other minable coins, from what I read of your posts  ;D

In my opinion, SOL has been going strong even with this recent outage
The network had been running smoothly for almost a year, so this isolated problem is not so much to worry about

You have to remember that SOL survived all those FTX problems, I myself thought that the coin would be worth less than 10 dollars and people would lose interest. Look how much stuff is running on SOLANA today

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Mempool Observer - Discussion about Bitcoin Fees
« on: February 10, 2024, 09:48:02 PM »
Better don't look at USD value so much, this can get much higher when bitcoin get's to 100k, 200k or 500k. ;)
You can also wait or try using lower value with around 10 sat/vB but there is no guarantee when this transaction will be confirmed.

I'm thinking about whether to try a 10 sat/vB transaction or leave it for the future and maybe we can go back to 5 sat in a few weeks/months
If I try 10 sat I can save 20 USD, it's a good amount to save

How many inputs do you have there?  :o
A ballpark figure gets me at least 50 if we assume segwit inputs and consolidation.
Anyhow most likely by early Monday morning you could do that with half of a the sum, I'm pretty confident that the weekend will make us touch 10sat/b.

More than 80 inputs  ;D
It's a good amount to save, I'll keep looking the Mempool to see if I can save more

« on: February 10, 2024, 08:21:16 PM »
Yes I am risking PYTH but in a small amount maybe for now there is no value but if PYTH continues to grow like its parent coin (SOL) maybe it is enough to buy one Toyota Camry car.
I hope you can manage your time to keep checking all the projects you follow because there will be many projects that have the potential to provide airdrops in the future and if possible leave your money to make transactions in the PYTH ecosystem regardless of the nominal even if it is in small amounts

It's in my list already, right now I'm learning more about LayerZero and Zksync, and I'll try to learn more about Pyth
I read in X (Twitter) that people consider 1000 PYTH a good amount to stake for a possible airdrop, but right now I don't think I can afford this amount hehehe, maybe 100

Transactions are  not expensive anymore. You can get a 23 sat vB confirmed within some hours, which is about 2 usd.

Not as cheap as 0.2 usd from 2 sat vB times ... but fees are getting lower.

The problem is, I need to consolidate my wallet, take a look here:

40 USD if I use 20 sat vB

I don't have much to do now, the good thing is that I won't need to trade, but it would be good if I already consolidated it for a possible transaction in the future

I use some of these 160 services that they're reporting will have some kind of airdrop, but I don't know if I'll qualify because I don't have a lot of volume yet and I haven't been using them that long

Are you staking PYTH?

There are so many projects these days that I can't keep up with them all and PYTH is one that I've put on the side for a while, but the price of the coin reflects the interest well, there are a lot of people betting on it

Português (Portuguese) / Re: Qual é seu portfolio para 2024?
« on: February 09, 2024, 06:39:59 PM »

Português (Portuguese) / Re: Quais seções do fórum vocês frequentam?
« on: February 08, 2024, 01:44:05 PM »

Well we have so a little decrease in fees as I have send 200 dollars earlier ? having 5 dollars fee so for me this is considerable amount to pay.
Hodling must not be forced mate , we are here in our own desire and dedication so try not to become greed and stupid.

Hehe, don't worry, the forced HODL part is just a joke  ;)
This is a wallet I've had for several years and I need to consolidate, so it ended up being quite expensive to do now, I'll have to wait, that's why I made the joke

I miss the 2sat/B days  ;D

Solana Forum / Re: Solana Outage (Again)
« on: February 07, 2024, 08:22:15 PM »
Keep an eye out for them to come back as soon as possible as there are a lot of projects running on the network right now
Any key reasons how not to be worried about it? I'm overthinking about the price and it could go down because of stuff like this.

In my opinion, a drop like this after so many months won't affect the price
SOL is already at 97 USD and from what I've seen nothing has happened apart from delaying our transactions and during the outage time we can't transact, but it's important that they keep the netword online, it can't keep dropping once a month for example, it could affect future projects and them the price

Ethereum Forum / Re: Why you need to stake your Ethereum now
« on: February 06, 2024, 07:42:05 PM »
Is anyone here making a stake in Eigenlayer?
Yesterday it opened again for staking and it goes until february 09th

I'm thinking here, I have a bit of ETH that I've mined in the last few months from POW ETH, but I'm a bit afraid that there will be a problem in a while (hack, protocol failure, etc.)
