Basic questions about this forum / My question about Karma?
« on: January 24, 2024, 08:37:50 AM »
Actually, at first I didn't pay much attention to the Karma I had. But after I saw I had 5 Karma that had appeared on my profile. Now I'm curious.

Who sent Karma to me?
And which topic or post do I get Karma?

I realized that Karma was sent directly to my profile and not to a post I made. But I was just curious and asked.

Honestly, I'm interested in seeing the flow of entry and exit of Karma to provide evaluation material and find out what things make someone impressed and send Karma to fellow users.

Karma may not have an effect on ranking increases, but seeing our karma increase sometimes also gives an impression that makes us more enthusiastic in this forum.
So I need more information about Karma.

Thank You  :)

Well this is just a repetition of the market cycle. Like waves on the beach which will definitely be pulled first into the deep sea before finally becoming big waves. Likewise in the price correction that is currently occurring in bitcoin.

Maybe for weak hands they will panic and will sell some of their bitcoin holdings and hope that bitcoin corrects deeper and they will re-accumulate when that happens. It's just that I think this correction will probably continue if Grayscale still hasn't finished selling the GBTC that they send to the market periodically at this time. So every time Grayscale sends its BTC to Coinbase, don't be surprised that the market will immediately correct. Because many people monitor their wallets and will try to preemptively exit the market every time Grayscale sells. And if Grayscale stops selling then I think the market will recover slowly because the Bitcoin Halving hype is actually still continuing.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Who Has the Economy Right?
« on: January 24, 2024, 08:01:02 AM »
The most difficult thing about seeing global economic developments at the moment is because sometimes there can be differences between data and reality. And analytical data may be a sample for seeing the bigger picture. On the one hand, in my life, I personally feel that the economy still feels normal and mediocre. there has been no rapid increase or vice versa. But if I look at the whole, the condition has not improved at all. There may even be a decline in one sector but also an increase in other sectors. For example, the entrepreneurial sector is increasing here. But the level of ability of buyers or consumers seems to be decreasing.

Money is just like a tool. It can be useful, good or bad, depending on the user or owner of the tool itself. So money is not the root of all chaos. It's just that human greed and human egoism are the biggest threats in the chaos that exists in this world. So that evil does not come from money but from within humans themselves who are starting to lose control over themselves and are starting to be dominated by negative traits such as greed and egoism.

I am more worried about the conflict between countries which is currently heating up in the Red Sea. Because if the war doesn't stop, there will be a bigger economic impact. Because the impact of war will not only cause inflation but also spread to other chaos, such as humanity, most importantly.
The food crisis may be starting to be resolved in several countries. But in countries involved in war conflicts, I think the food crisis will really be the most worrying thing.

"...so called government no dey carry out their functions, the government of this our country dey selfish and self-centered dey no care about the people wey for the country because all these things wey dey happen no dey really affect."

Question, it certainly smells a little bit of politics, but still - if your government does not care about the population, which by the way elected this government, and the population suffers at the hands and actions of its "elected", why is not raised the issue of distrust of the government ? The next step - either the government (president, parliament, .... ) must accept the claims of the population of the country and:
- propose a way out of the situation and a plan of action
- or leave office in order to be taken over by more decent and responsible people who will correct the situation in the country and improve the life of the population.
Yes, that's right, friend. This is why a democratic system should be used where people can freely speak and raise every aspiration and criticism along with suggestions to the existing government.

And indeed the government must pay more attention to its people. Because they are elected by the community to protect the community and manage the country to make the community more prosperous. Because after all, the government is actually a servant of the community. It's just that they are entrusted with managing the country's wealth so that it can be used better and the final results must still be in the interests of the state and society and not for personal interests. Personal interests that are not in accordance with the rules will only lead to the growth of worse corruption.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: The impact of crypto on our lives

~snip~
I might just expect big profits in the crypto market I have entered. I hope that the DCA that's why I entered the crypto world, namely hoping for profits and bringing positive changes to my life.

Yeah everyone who entered in crypto hope big profit. So am I, I hope I will gain profit from my investment.
Crypto had good impact in my live.
Maybe ,not big. But I had another income from crypto.
Join bounty and do daily trading.
Well it's a good thing to have other income. Because we shouldn't be calm just by collecting from one source of income. I personally am like that too. I work in the real world. And I also invest and trade in crypto. Then I am also active in forums to increase my knowledge and of course following a signature which can also increase my income is a good thing. Now it's just a matter of how we utilize all the income we have to maximize it in the long term. One of them is diversification and one of them is investing in crypto and trading. And of course with money ready if you have to lose. Because in crypto we all realize that everything is high risk.
I might just expect big profits in the crypto market I have entered. I hope that the DCA that I have done in bitcoin and also the investment that I have made in dialtcoin can bring changes in my life to a better level of living and finances. Because that's why I entered the crypto world, namely hoping for profits and bringing positive changes to my life.
A correct investment strategy will create profits in the long term, I believe DCA BTC is such a strategy!

I think everyone who comes to crypto wants to gain profits to improve the lives of themselves and their families. Wish you will achieve that goal, don't forget to share your investment method and feelings you have on your crypto journey to our AlcoinsTalks forum members ❤️
That's right, sir. For now, the DCA strategy is a pretty good strategy for investors who really want to accumulate bitcoin for the long term. It's just that DCA is intended for those who have capital that can be put in regularly, either once a week or once a month. And DCA makes us better able to maintain a long-term investment mentality. Because we don't immediately put all our money in at one time. But we can also buy for every correction that occurs. So you can have a better average purchase price.

And yes, it is absolutely true that everyone definitely wants profit and that is everyone's main goal. And hopefully all of us here can get maximum benefits and achieve our goals successfully. :)

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Volatile Coins
« on: January 23, 2024, 02:47:52 AM »
In the crypto world, even bitcoin is a volatile one, so there is really nothing to wonder. If you really like ups and downs, for trading purposes, then even bitcoin is fine, hell it was nearly 10k+ dollars higher just a few weeks ago, as you can see it can make you some money if you want to, imagine if you did like some leverage on shorting? That would have made you so much more money. This is why I think its more about being right, then being able to pick the right thing. Doesn't matter what you pick, this means that we are going to end up with something profitable, even if we pick just bitcoin.
Yes, it's true, friend, what you say. Because the most important thing is that we have to be clever at exploiting every market situation on any coin. Because those who can gain profits are those who are good at exploiting movements or volatility in the market. And the losers are those who are not good at exploiting volatility itself.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: could adoption make BTC price less volatile?
« on: January 22, 2024, 05:36:01 AM »
since the next halving will only generate 3BTC for each block, this number could easily be absorbed by the institutions wanting to grab more BTC.  due to less supply in the market there are speculation that this could even be the last bull run. do you think so too?

and could adoption of BTC make the price less volatile that not too many people will sell and the price will be stable?
just something to foresee what could happen in the future.
When more and more institutions get into Bitcoin which makes the majority of Bitcoin held by institutions then maybe that's when Bitcoin's rise will hit even higher and the price will probably start to become less volatile. But fluctuations will continue to occur, whether on a small or large scale. And regarding bitcoin becoming more stable, maybe that will still be a long time coming. Because currently there are still quite a lot of bitcoin holders. Whales holding bitcoin are also quite evenly distributed. But when the majority of the bitcoin supply is controlled by an institution, maybe that's when bitcoin will stabilize a little. But I think it's still a long time away.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Mempool Observer - Discussion about Bitcoin Fees
« on: January 22, 2024, 05:12:30 AM »
yeah, that's right, friend. Now I've even given up on using the free acceleration from ViaBTC. Because it is no longer possible to compete with bots which are always faster than us who only input manually.

Luckily now the fees are starting to get lower again within a few days. But I'm not sure it will last long.

It started to go up at least 47 sat/vB currently from the 30's that we have seen in the last 12 hours or so. And just like the price, it a continuous up and down. Maybe there are time frame that there are no activity whatsoever that's why the transaction fee is down.

And then active hours means fees are bumping up. I do hope that we can see 1 sat/vB, but I doubt it though. The ordinals are going to continue and so mempool will be clogged from time to time.
Well transaction fees keep fluctuating. And yes, it all depends on transaction density at certain hours. So now we have to start to understand at what times transaction density decreases accompanied by a decrease in transaction costs. So checking the mempool in real time can also help. And yes, topics like this can also help by notifying each other when fees start to fall.

For now the fee will at least not increase to 100sats again. But it continues to rotate in the 70 to 32 area.

In my country the regulations regarding crypto are clear and the amount of tax has also been determined and it is around 0.11% of the value of the transactions we make. And crypto is already considered a commodity asset and not a security asset. But to be honest, everything is much more comfortable when the government hasn't made regulations about this. It's just that I am happy with the regulations that have been made so that the security of crypto users in our country has become better. Because there is a government agency that monitors it.
0.11% is a comfortable tax rate for everyone, I think investors will have no problem paying only a small tax on their profits, while being protected from scammers in this market  ;D
Yes, the tax rate is quite low when compared to crypto tax rates in other countries such as Japan, where the tax rate is more than 5% or even tens of percent of the total assets held. Correct me if I'm wrong. Because I read the information last year. And I don't know if there has been an update or not. But this has an impact on quiet trading on local Japanese CEXs. Because citizens will definitely prefer long-term investments if trade tariffs are very high. Even in my country it's the same. Even though it's relatively small. But if we trade continuously then the accumulation becomes very large. Because there are other additional costs from the local CEX itself, the deduction becomes greater. But I still like the regulations in my country.

What is economics?
This is a question that has so many answers depending on your perspective, As far as I am concerned I understand Economics as a social science that deals with the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. It is concerned with how individuals, businesses, governments, and other organizations allocate resources to satisfy their wants and needs. what is economics from your point of view?
Talking about Economics, it is actually a simple thing. Because economics is indeed a science or insight related to how to make a person or group meet their needs in life. And all of this is done by utilizing the resources available around him and within him. Such as natural resources and human resources themselves.

So Economics is the science of how to meet life's needs. The economic system used to be based on bartering of goods and now with broader trading methods.
