Forum related / Re: [TOOL] Another Altcoinstalks Notification Bot!
« on: January 23, 2024, 09:15:02 PM »
Thanks bitmover, great as usual, well done.

A wonderful tool, I tried  it the results were very good, even though I am used to using the Telegram Notification Bot in the Bitcoin Talk Forum, as I use Telegram for the Windows desktop version and I received notifications immediately while browsing the forum.

In any case, great work and a really useful tool. This is what I really want because I suffer from the problem of notifications. I think it will be very necessary for all members of the forum.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading Vs Hodling

This is true for Bitcoin and some reliable Altcoins, but for the rest of the coins, this is not always the case.

I mean that holding Bitcoin is risk-free and definitely profitable in the long run, but as for the rest of the Altcoins, there are great risks in holding in the long term because it is possible that these Altcoins will collapse or lose their value in the long run.

There may be some good altcoins in the long term like Ethereum, but personally I think the only safe investment is holding Bitcoin.
Investing in Bitcoin involves risk, and the level of risk may vary depending on various factors. Some risks to consider include:

Volatility Bitcoin prices can experience significant fluctuations in short periods of time. This can create great opportunities, but also increases the risk of losing investment value.

Bitcoin's underlying blockchain technology has proven to be robust as technological developments or emerging issues could impact its long-term impact.
In terms of the general rule, there is no investment without risk. Yes, Bitcoin in the short term is volatile and carries risk. These days we are witnessing a strong decline after a rise that lasted for a period of months.

But we are talking about holding in the long term. If we look at the history of Bitcoin, we will see one trend, which is only upward. Therefore, I consider investing in Bitcoin in the long term profitable and does not contain any risks.

Of course, mixers can be used for altcoins, but I suspect that the main reason why mixers only offer a mixing service for Bitcoin is firstly decentralization and then trust.

Bitcoin is completely decentralized and has a very high degree of reliability, making it the preferred choice for investors who want to invest huge amounts of money and maintain their privacy.

Therefore, I expect that there is a high demand for mixing Bitcoin, while there is not a high demand for mixing altcoins, and this is what makes the mixers content with providing Bitcoin mixing services only.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: How do you think is enough to hold?
« on: January 23, 2024, 02:27:37 AM »
Only speculators hold Bitcoin for a short period only, while real investors hold Bitcoin in the long term over several cycles, not just one cycle.

For the long-term investor, the temporary drop of Bitcoin below 40K$ does not matter at the moment, because they know full well that Bitcoin’s targets are much further, at least 100K and more, so every drop is a new opportunity to buy.

The criticisms of Tether are spot on, yes everyone in Crypto knows that Tether is centralized and fully subject to government regulations regarding anti-drugs, money laundering and terrorism.

USDT is always talked about as being centralized, with a violation of privacy and the possibility of freezing the balance of users based on government orders, which makes it an absolutely unfavorable option by those working in crypto.

These characteristics of Tether make it closer to government money than to cryptocurrencies, so yes I agree with their criticism of the UN report. >:(

Congratulations on achieving financial freedom, the crypto market must have brought you a lot of profits! Are you a developer or a trader in this market?
Thank you, I am a trader but also there are a lot of other opportunities in crypto in addition to trading and development, for example in this forum and the Bitcoin Talk forum there are a lot of opportunities that can help you make money through writing or some other small business.

I have been working for 5 years and I get a good monthly income through my work. Before the existence of Crypto, this was very difficult, especially in my country. Now there are many good opportunities, whether through trading or technical skills.

It is good that Elon Musk has confirmed that none of his companies will ever create their own token, as this will reduce scams promoted by claims that they belong to Elon Musk or one of his companies.

But I think that Mr. Elon Musk has lost his charm and influence on cryptocurrencies. In the past, any statement he made would cause a meteoric rise or decline in the market, but today we see that this influence has diminished greatly.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Will LUNC be able to reclaim its ATH?
« on: January 21, 2024, 05:43:06 AM »
Do not expect LUNC to return to its historical peak again, after all that has happened LUNC has lost the trust of the community and I do not expect them to be able to return even with continued burning and support.

Luna has become a thing of the past and it is difficult to gain the trust of the community again. Investing large amounts of Luna in the long term I think is useless, so the best way to benefit from it is through quick speculation.

But in the end, all predictions are possible, and no one can read the future with 100% accuracy.

I came to the world of Bitcoin by chance. I was looking for work on the Internet and I did not know anything about Bitcoin. Then by chance, Bitcoin advertisements began to appear in front of me in abundance.
From here I began my journey to learn more about Bitcoin. The idea of decentralization and privacy excited me and I began to learn about Blockchain, this wonderful technology with its transparency and the possibility of sending money around the world with complete ease while maintaining privacy and transparency.

I have finally achieved the true financial freedom that I have always been searching for.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin became “greener and cleaner”
« on: January 21, 2024, 02:51:36 AM »
The issue of energy and the environment is one of the most controversial issues and accusations surrounding Bitcoin. It is the first argument that we always hear from Bitcoin opponents that Bitcoin is the enemy of the environment and consumes a lot of energy.

Therefore, turning Bitcoin into a “greener and cleaner” would be a testament to Bitcoin’s innocence from all these accusations. However, I do not expect Bitcoin’s opponents (especially governments) to stop making these accusations or creating new ones to continue their attack on Bitcoin.

Basically, I do not expect that their main problem with Bitcoin is the problem of energy and environmental pollution, their main problem with Bitcoin is decentralization and privacy.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Airdrop worthless?
« on: January 20, 2024, 02:53:44 AM »
Yes, airdrops have become a waste of time and useless. In the past, there were some good airdrops through which we obtained some free tokens that later became valuable, but these are very few cases.

As for the forum, I think that these sections on airdrops and giveaway have been around since the forum was created. There are still some people interested in airdrops and bounties, so it is good to have sections that contain these things to discuss.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Mempool Observer - Discussion about Bitcoin Fees
« on: January 20, 2024, 02:43:59 AM »
THe current fee rate is too high! It will cost about 3-4 USD to send each input (not the overall transaction).

So if you received 30 usd per week in a campaign, to send 100 you would need to spend about 9 usd which is quite high
You are right, for small amounts, the fees are still high, such as for campaigns in the forum. If you want to send the payment every week, it will cost you a fee of about $9 per month, as you mentioned, so I will not send it every week, but rather I will send it once a month to reduce the fees.

But I said that it is good due to the high rate of fees that we have seen over the past months, as fees sometimes reached $15-20, so compared to these high fees, the current fees are considered good, but of course we hope that they will continue to decline until they return to their previous level of 10-15 sat.

Even if SEC Chair Gary Gensler introduces “onerous new cryptocurrency regulations” it doesn’t does not necessarily get approved, and even if it does get approved it not necessarily lead to a “sharp decline” in the price of Bitcoin. ...

I think this is somewhat exaggerated. Gary Gensler has many opponents and he will not necessarily be able to obtain approval. Also, do not forget that the giant company that obtained ETF approval, such as BlackRock, has great influence and will strive to prevent Gary Gensler from obtaining the required approval.

In the worst case scenario, Bitcoin falling to low levels does not pose a major problem for investors in the long term. On the contrary, it may be a great opportunity to obtain more Bitcoin at cheap prices.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: HOW TO IMPROVE PSYCHOLOGY IN TRADING
« on: January 19, 2024, 08:39:24 PM »
5.Take Profits and Know When to Stop

*Taking profits is the most crucial skill for earning a living through trading. Profits should never be ignored.
*Stick to your own trading system when taking profits. Divide your profits into multiple tiers, avoid the regret of missing out. Remember that money is still there, the market remains, and opportunities are abundant.
*Always appreciate yourself for knowing when to take profits.
Tip No. 5 is my favorite. Yes, making profits is the main point in trading. When you achieve an acceptable profit at a certain point that you specify, it is better to take your profits immediately and not be greedy.

Sometimes profit can turn into loss due to greed and not reaping profits in a timely manner. Many traders, when they see the market rising, do not reap their profits and wait to get more, but suddenly the market turns and they lose because they do not reap their profits in a timely manner.
