Friends, please report this fake review.

Despite the fact that mixers do not use Trustpilot because it is very easy to fake reviews on it, I still am not pleased to see outright slander against Thormixer.

https://ie.trustpilot.com/review/thormixer.io

reported.
but I don't think that removing this review will do anything because even according to the rules of Trustpilot, it cannot be proven that it is a fake review. I referred to the fact that another mixer is being promoted (which is a scam, even their site is no longer active) I hope it helps.

For the first case, Mimi was already warned and I locked this topic.

I would urge everyone to refrain from giving -karma to the Mimi account. It is obvious that she is a beginner and I would suggest we help her adjust here. I believe that it is disappointing to receive only criticism, and why we should be patient with such users.
I hope they will come here to give her the right instructions and necessary explanations.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: LIST - Bitcoin mixers & Tumbler services! ✅✅
« on: January 22, 2024, 03:16:59 PM »
It would be best if those services create official accounts in altscointalks forum to answer questions directly here, like it was in bitcointalk forum.
Tumbler.io and few other mixers don't even have ann topic here yet.

I agree with you.
Mixers must move their ANN from bitcointalk to altcoinstalk so community can get their support here. Public places for discussions with service representative is a must for this kind of services.

I left the Bitcointalk links because it is still possible to contact the mixers through their official accounts on that forum.
I will do an update in one or two days.

Yes, some mixers still haven't officially come to this forum even though they have their promo campaigns. Managers could push them.

The current registration is a few months old, it had a domain drop, probably just a few months before that so that date is probably when he created the jambler partnership the first time, that's the default ToS with name replaced.

Registrar History   2 registrars with 1 drop

Most likely a resurrected project, and with that history in mind not the best start, if you can't afford to even keep your domain and hosting then...

Such a scenario is possible, but it certainly looks as if it is a matter of displaying false data. And that only raises suspicion. I expected him to explain what happened.
Even though Jambler.io is a partner, I still don't see them listed on their partner page.

Don't be evil, signature campaign soon...

Considering that the competition with mixers is quite serious, I would rather suggest a review campaign, where users will have to go through the entire mixing process and leave their opinions, suggestions, objections, etc... You come as a new player and you need to build trust.

First time tengticrypto mixer website was archived was in the end of 2023:

This looks like the first failure. Although the site is only a few months old, the last TOS update is August 1, 2022  ???

About service. I saw there is "Maximum service fee is: 5% + 0.0007 BTC". So the fee is determined randomly, so the user cannot know how much the mixing process will cost him until its completion?
Is this mixer a Jambler.io partner? I would say yes, but I would like confirmation.

Well, maybe both cases are not the most obvious plagiarism, because some words have been changed. But the fact is that both posts are completely useless and I see them as spam.
User Mimi already has a "Watched" badge, which means that the moderators have noticed it. Considering that she is a new member, maybe she is still getting used to the forum, so I would give her another chance. Maybe she should be directed to this topic so that she can see her mistakes and still have time to fix them.

Awtzu203 copied the text from the Unijoin site in their ANN thread and it is very difficult to explain what he wanted to achieve with it. Since he is not in a campaign, the number of posts is not decisive for him, unless he wants to reach a forum rank acceptable in campaigns as soon as possible.

@Don Pedro Dinero, To be sure if something is plagiarism, use free tools like for example duplichecker.com or plagiarismdetector.net.

I will send them a PM with a link to this topic, maybe they can give some explanation in their defence. Or at least to recognize their mistakes.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: ETF Approval, do we have reason to celebrate?
« on: January 22, 2024, 12:29:07 PM »
bitcoin experiencing a high increase will definitely have a positive impact on all of us. It cannot be denied that there will be many benefits that we will get from bitcoin itself and of course for all aspects there will also be financial benefits from bitcoin.

However, in reality Bitcoin is still reluctant to move at a price of 42-45k $. There is definitely hope that it will continue to rise and we want Bitcoin to reach a new peak

If you can be more precise, what financial benefits for Bitcoin come with the ETF?
And why exactly is it important for Bitcoin to break ATH again? Because of statistics and possibly a new parameter in analyses?

If BTC reaches $500k, do you have any idea how much the transaction fees (in USD) will cost? Do you think it will be usable in its native form?

Forum related / Re: What subforums should be removed ?
« on: January 22, 2024, 12:22:06 PM »
I will for now sustain from recommedning which subforums should go, but what I would like to see is an option to make it easier to ignore certain parts of the forum. For example, at the moment its impossible to ignore altcoin section without ignore Bitcoin subforum as well so something along those lines would be a welcomed addition.
I am advocating for this proposal since the day I teleported here  :) and I am sure we won't all agree what should or shouldn't be deleted, so giving us more customization would be great.

If we are talking about ignoring certain boards, I would say that the situation is worse in the local board part, where I can turn off either all or none. So if I want to follow a local board that I understand, I have to have all the others as well.

Even when I set this part to ignore, the option "Show unread posts since last visit." shows them all.

- Ignore users (soon)

Can you clarify this? Does this mean that with the help of the bot, we will be able to ignore certain users, but here on the forum?  Or does it only apply to notifications from certain users?

Maybe you could also add few more privacy options for donation, like Monero and L-USDT on bitcoin liquid network.

I believe that he will send all donations directly to Namecheap to pay the expenses. As far as I know, Namecheap does not accept Monero or L-USDT, so I believe it is simpler for him to just send the funds and pay for the service, instead of doing the conversion first.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BTC Spot ETF is market poison?
« on: January 22, 2024, 12:07:01 PM »
Losing the historical mission of Bitcoin: In 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto introduced Bitcoin as a method for people to have the right to self-custody of money, not dependent on third parties, escaping the traditional financial model that has a lot of problems.
I will agree with you here, not your keys, not your coins and if you buy BTC spot etf’s you don’t control your coins and that is a bad decision. But we cannot stop people from doing what they want, people even store their funds in centralized exchanges which is even worse in my honest opinion.

I accepted this as just another stress test for Bitcoin, perhaps the most difficult one yet.

In the meantime, probably the best meme for this ETF mess

It has been confirmed that they are scammers. When you go to their website, you find that the domain has been changed to something else.
I hope no one lost their money.

To me, this looks like an automatic template from a registry or hosting company. They probably just didn't extend the hosting service.
But yes, it certainly does not inspire confidence.
We have several reliable mixers and we should not take any chances with these scammers.

Forum related / Re: What subforums should be removed ?
« on: January 19, 2024, 01:32:33 PM »
I welcome this initiative.
You caught us a little off guard, we didn't expect you to be ready for such a big undertaking  ;)

First, I would pay attention and restructure the boards a little, because now they somehow introduce confusion. So, for example, I would make the "cryptocurrency ecosystem" board the primary part of the forum (currently it seems that it is "bounty & earning").
Also, it would be good to separate a part of the Bitcoin forum and things related to Bitcoin.
It somehow seems unnatural to me that Bitcoin, various altcoins, exchanges, wallets, ANN's... are in the same section.

"crypto discussions" and "further discussions" ("news" also probably) can be folded into one board. I think is not a lot of discussion there, and some of them are very similar. I would remove those that have negligible reach.
ANN should be two separate threads, crypto services and new tokens/coins. now it's a bit confusing
I'm not sure that many subboards are needed for forum-related stuff. Two or three are enough, it's all a similar topic, it just requires us to go deeper on the board.

"Earning" section had 8 subboards, And they are all very similar, almost the same topic. What is the difference between "Bounties & Rewards" & "Micro Crypto Giveaways" & "Crypto Raffle / Lottery" and they take up a large part of my screen. At the same time, "Micro Crypto Giveaways" & "Crypto Raffle / Lottery" have only a little over 200 posts for all time. If we exclude admin's posts, it remains that very few members participated there. And maybe the problem is that there are too many bounty/giveaway/lottery threads, so users simply didn't check everything.

We have "Cryptocurrency Trading" here https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=132.0 even if there is a dedicated board "Trading & Traders". I would put this together, probably T&T inside Cryptocurrency Trading

I will probably find some more, just the first impression.

Mixero.io offers Ethereum mixing also. https://mixero.io/mix_advanced
Unijoin also announced the possibility of mixing Ethereum, Litecoin and USDT (we are waiting for this upgrade)

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Fee Finally Down below 40 Sat/vb
« on: January 19, 2024, 12:21:06 PM »
Hey stompix!! Sorry for creating the topic before you! I didn't even knew you were using this forum too! If I had seen you before, I would have waited for you to create it!! :)

And you would have waited for months and years.. ;D
I have been around for weeks and I could have opened one IF I wanted but I just didn't and still don't feel like it, on BTT it was more of a statement and a bit of meme since we had a WO , right now with fees getting lower and not the same environment as on the other forum I just didn't feel interested in it  ;D

stompix is from a group of miners who do not benefit from low fees, so for him, such topics are quite torture  :D It's like rubbing salt on his raw wound

I am quite shocked to see this question after that long because we already had discussed this issue on BTT
You should not be shocked. Either I missed your thread, or I didn't pay too much attention because there are a lot of spammy threads every day and people are focusing on their signature requirements. Sometimes I do not check the Bitcoin discussion section for a while and I participate in a discussion that I have already commented on before.

It is entirely possible that there are users here who do not visit Bitcointalk or find this forum more user-friendly and find it easier to navigate here than on BTT. So this discussion may have some sympathetic answers. Especially if we know that users here are more in favor of altcoins, and I would guess that Ordinals are some kind of that, right?

Here's an example, I'm still looking for the right answer, what exactly gives value to ordinals? Why does someone pay huge sums for a pixelated image, which a skilled designer can make in 5 minutes?
