Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Can we say bounty is an investment?
« on: December 10, 2018, 05:15:57 AM »
I think of it as a freelance job. You're gettting paid in their tokens, so unfortunately you're not sure how much they're going to be worth.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: dash price at the end of the year.
« on: December 09, 2018, 06:17:38 PM »
Dash is at $76 right now. I feel like that's an absolute steal for probably the most promising pure currency-focused cryptocurrency.

Probably in this bear market that's a good idea. It seems like anymore, prices drop after the ICO or after a bounty / airdrop is distributed. I haven't done research whether or not many are increasing after ICO, just speaking from personal experience.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is there hope for this year 2018 ?
« on: December 08, 2018, 01:00:25 AM »
At this point I'd say "apparently not". Just hold out some hope for next year. There should be some big developments in crypto.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Should I stop trading in this bear market?
« on: December 07, 2018, 01:25:43 AM »
I'm just Holding On for Dear Life... and made a couple small purchases of coins. I know it seems like this bear market will continue forever... just like it felt like the bull market would continue forever. Both of those are incorrect assumptions.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are you gaining or loosing this year?
« on: December 07, 2018, 01:21:56 AM »
If anyone has gained USD value... they must be a very good trader or an insanely lucky investor. I've at least done much better than the overall market... but that's obviously not saying much.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: The waited December is here
« on: December 06, 2018, 05:13:07 AM »
People were waiting for summer... then they were waiting for the 4th quarter... then December. Now we're waiting for next year. I think there will have to be some HUGE NEWS or development and then the bull run can begin.

The market keeps waving the red flag, but I'm not seeing any bulls taking the bait. My hope is on something like Bakkt, Nasdaq futures or an ETF to lift the market out of this funk.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you buy only top 100 coins?
« on: December 05, 2018, 03:42:31 AM »
I have several coins I support that are in the top 200 (all of them were at one point in the top 100). There's another coin that I think is promising that is about 1400 on CMC... most other people don't seem to think it's worth much apparently.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Mistakes I Have Made
« on: December 05, 2018, 03:33:27 AM »
So many mistakes. But as long as you learn from your mistakes... that's the important thing. I owned a ton of Ripple that I bought at half a cent. I sold at 2 cents and 5 cents... last year the price went over $3. So it could've been a massive gain for me if I'd sold at the right time.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: KYC and Airdrop Token
« on: December 04, 2018, 02:55:24 AM »
I stopped doing airdrops that require KYC. So I'm supposed to upload sensitive private documents to get a $5 airdrop? No thanks.

Probably... though many do have the potential to be very useful in the future. We don't quite have the token based economy that we've dreamed of yet where assets can be tokenized and traded.

88
Hopefully it's a sign that the market has bottmed out and will continue to have a steady rise from here. I'm just really tired of the 10 percent + dumps.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: How do you compare ICOs in 2017 and 2018?
« on: December 02, 2018, 02:12:40 AM »
It seems like people were just throwing money at any old ICO last year and you barely even needed a website to be successful. I think this year people are much more choosy where they invest... so that's actually kind of a good thing.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Right time to buy ETH !
« on: December 01, 2018, 05:21:26 AM »
With an ATH over $1000, I think ETH is an absolute bargain right now sitting just over $100 and #3 on coin market cap. I think it should at least be worth .1 of what a Bitcoin is with how many projects are built on it. So I'd say anything under $400 is definitely in "buy" territory.
