Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will altcoins survive a long time like bitcoin?
« on: February 22, 2022, 03:41:34 PM »
In my opinion many, many altcoins have staying power and will last for a long time to come. Others will inevitably collapse or fade into irrelevance. For a lot of coins I believe their longevity might be tied to the future of cryptos in general - the kinds of regulations that may be imposed in the future and such.

Stable Coins Forum / Re: Which stable coin is more secure?

I am personally not a big fan of USDT. I usually use BUSD and I find it to be a great stablecoin.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Should Bitcoin be an investment or store of value?
« on: February 22, 2022, 03:34:56 PM »
I certainly agree that Bitcoin is getting less risky in spite of its relative volatility. I still consider it more of an investment and less a store of value since it is still considered a high-risk asset among investments in general.

Ethereum Forum / Re: What is the future of Ethereum
« on: February 15, 2022, 03:28:19 PM »
Ether has a lot of things to do and they have already created a table for updating their platform. If they succeed, Ether has a very good chance to break out in the market in price.

It depends on Ethereum developer, If they can solve their problem, especially high transaction fee, I think Ethereum will have great future.

Ethereum updates have already benefited Ethereum's price, and I agree that if they manage to solve the high transaction fee issue in the future, that would be very beneficial for the coin.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you believe in Metaverse trend?
« on: February 15, 2022, 03:25:26 PM »
I also see some parallels between this metaverse hype and memecoins. I do believe that virtual reality and other aspects of the metaverse will gain more traction in the future, but right now metaverse just seems like a popular buzzword to me and not much else. That said, related tokens can be good assets for investing or trading, if approached with adequate caution.

Interesting. I am very curious about the future of GameFi, it is a concept that has quickly risen in popularity and use cases, and I'm sure it has a lot more prospects for the future.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you still believe in old coins?
« on: February 15, 2022, 03:15:34 PM »
I also still like to use old coins. As long as the liquidity is good, they can be valuable investments and are often less volatile than newer projects. They usually have less of a chance of multiplying their price in a short amount of time than popular new projects, but, in turn, they are also somewhat less risky.

DeFi tokens / Re: What projects are you interested in lately?
« on: February 15, 2022, 03:11:21 PM »
There are a lot of project news these days. How should we act, what are your preferences?

It can be hard to know what's worth investing in, so I always allocate only a smaller portion of my investing money to new projects. Reading their whitepaper can give you some information about the value behind the project.

In general I find stablecoins useful and safe assets, but I personally like to opt for other stablecoins and avoid tether since the controversy that went down a couple of years ago. Even though its price is stable, I don't have much trust in tether.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin pump again Yes or Not?
« on: February 04, 2022, 05:30:16 PM »
I think it's more bear market than correction now. Short-term, the prospects don't look too good. But I'm sure it will pick up again eventually.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: 2022 predictions Crypto and Metaverse?
« on: February 04, 2022, 05:26:17 PM »
The metaverse might receive more hype now than cryptos since it has more of a novelty value. It's hard to say which will do better, and it's also hard to say how long this bearish crypto phase will last. Bitcoin hasn't been receiving a lot of good press lately which is not great.

I sometimes do, if something catches my attention, I like to do some research for myself.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Long Term Investment Suggestion

Whichever coins and tokens appeal to you, it is always key to diversify. I also think it is good to start with top 10 cryptos when it comes to long-term investments.

Yes, I believe it is always worth investing if you look at the market in long-term prospects. If you are looking for short-term gain most probably you will end up in loss So the crypto investment is worth it if you have patience if you don't have patience it's not worth investing.

To be fair, it is possible to gain short-term if you use a well-thought-out short timeframe trading strategy. Of course, it's not realistic to expect one will get rich quickly. But in general it is very much worth investing in the crypto market, as long as you make sure to have the knowledge needed to be profitable.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: bitcoin going down
« on: January 25, 2022, 09:46:19 AM »
This time around, Bitcoin's fall might be related to drops in some major stocks on the stock market. Since more and more investors have cryptos in their portfolios, the state of other markets such as the stock market can affect risk tolerance and market sentiment, so cryptos can be affected by incidents in other markets.
