I want to talk about a subject seldom addressed, it is the token dump that follow the airdrops and bounties.

Most ICOs and projects are not aware of this, but seasoned bounty managers and bounty hunters know this very well.
The ICO price will get hammered once the airdrop & bounty are distributed.

Of course how much will depend on several factors:
- Quantity of tokens given to bounty hunters and through airdrops
- Demand price and capacity.

But it is not surprising that the people that got the token for "free" sell them for as low as 1/10th the ICO price.

token dump is the unwanted consequence of airdrops & bounties

This is partly true though. Reason been that i have also seen situation when token price dumped as soon as investors got their tokens from distribution, while bounty/airdrop shares were yet to be distributed. Generally, i feel it all depends on the project team itself. How strong is their marketing as well as usability of their asset.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Things Hindering BTC Massive Adoption
« on: September 18, 2020, 09:36:36 PM »
For as long as we are yet to have global regulation, not just Bitcoin but cryptocurrency at large will keep experiencing difficulties in advancing as decentralized platform. Now, the main question is, when is regulation coming up? Without proper regulations, mass adoption will only be a dream that may not come through.

Sorting Box / Re: Experience in Bounty Campaign

Bounty campaign was good at the time of 2017. At this moment it is not good enough. I think 1% bounty campaign is to be successful and distribute rewards. Most of the campaigns are fake. If not fake then they don't make the project successful.

This was when the idea of cryptocurrency started gaining attentions. Thus unique projects with good use case run bounties consistently to gain awareness and most of them really paid well... Quite unfortunately many folks missed that era.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BITCOIN OR ALTCOIN ??

At any point in time, i will choose Altcoins over Bitcoin. A times, i wonder what would really happen to Bitcoin value if projects decide to trade in USDT pairs rather than bitcoin? I feel that may make bitcoin lose its dominancy in CMC, which will lead to more Altcoins pumping up.

Hopefully when full regulation comes into play and the global world accept Bitcoin as a valid means of transactions, then the value will increase more but definitely not to the tone of $500k, highly impossible for the next 5-10 years.

Congratulations to all those who got the UniSwap give aways. More congratulations to those who managed to hold their shares because UNI token is worth about 7$. UNI token seeks to get more attention as well as investors that might have migrated to SUSHI platform.

Sorting Box / Re: SLeepless nights doing bounty campaign is it worth it?
« on: September 17, 2020, 12:30:55 PM »
Why sacrifice my precious night sleep for bounties that may end up not paying? I would rather enjoy my beautiful night sleep for such. We should understand that earnings via bounty is  not 100% certain, so we should not get our hope too high on any bounty itself.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Gas fees more!!!! Why?
« on: September 17, 2020, 12:25:54 PM »
Ethereum gas fee is crazily high these days. Miners are benefitting so much from it with the recent pump in Ethereum price. Thus making it very difficult for an average trader to carryout transactions easily.  I look forward to Ethereum 2.0 in anticipation that it would help to resolve the unstable gas rate of Ethereum.

Many investor that has traded via UniSwap has been blessed with 400 UNI worth about 1200$ for been active traders on the platform earlier than 1st September. This has put smiles on my investors because such giveaway was least expected.

Bounty campaign is really good source of income but we should be careful in choosing a good bounty to participate due to plenty of  scam projects.

I can't really say it is a good source of income as it does not come in regularly. Some projects may appear good and reliable on whitepaper, only for you to invest your time and effort and the project end up as scam. To the best of my knowledge, bounty campaigns can always give unexpected cash but as a source of income, i disagree.

If you have investment intentions for digital money then you should invest in bitcoin or you can invest in altcoin.
I see Bitcoin is struggling now.
there is many potential altcoin , like ethereum, Ripple, EOS etc.

What do you choose ?

For investment, I prefer invest in altcoins. I see there is several potential altcoin that I like to invest. Ethereum, ripple, USDT, Monero and waves. they are more profitable.

Exactly what i would have done in any given situation. There are better chances of doubling or even tripling my investment with altcoins than with bitcoin at any given time. One just has to do due diligence on the altcoins to invest on thoroughly.

Bitcoin to reach $500k is way lot of exaggeration or i say impossible. So far, Bitcoin ATH was $20k and guess what happened afterwards, Iit dropped down to around $3k. I strongly believe in bitcoin, don't get me wrong but saying it will ever hit $500k is totally impossible.

Bitcoin has and will always be the best for anyone to invest in. Unfortunately bitcoin is very high in price, thus i would rather invest in some altcoins with good team and roadmap picking them from the first 20-30 assets on Coinmarketcap. I strongly believe that with such altcoins, i can build my investment better than investing in bitcoin.

DeFi tokens / Re: Yearn Finance (YFI) was the defi project
« on: September 15, 2020, 08:30:25 PM »
What does the future hold for DeFi projects? I am beginning to think that very few of all DeFi projects would scale through with time. I feel most of the YF projects look more like scam, the token get pumped so so high only to dump suddenly thereby putting investors/holders at bigger loss.
