XRP - Ripple Forum / Which XRP wallet?
« on: January 09, 2024, 11:46:02 AM »
I believe that I could get concrete answers here.
On another platform, a user wants to withdraw XRP from the exchange, because he does not want to hold funds on any CEX.
So the question arose, what is the best choice for an XRP wallet?

Hardware wallets are not an option, because he doesn't have them at the moment, so only software. Previously, wallets services charged a fee of 20XRP just for creating/registering an address. Now that's not a small amount for just creating an address.
Are there any wallets without that fee that are reliable?

this is best opportunity now to make this forum crowded, it can be the best but also the last chance, no time to calm down

of course it was just an idea to advertise giveaways in banners if you have better strategy how to make such giveaway full of people and visible, share it please

It's a $10 prize, that's why I say calm down.

Forum related / Re: Guidance for quality posting.
« on: January 08, 2024, 11:43:02 PM »
Don't post a wall of text thinking it's quality material and remember what you think is quality is not what a manager might think.
Can you explain to me , what is the meaning "Wall of Text Thinking" ?
Please give me for example , because i don't know Wall of Text Thinking ???

Certain users believe that if the post is long, it must be of high quality, so for example it will be an advantage in the signature campaign. Then they usually write a bunch of nonsense and text without any significant substance, they mostly look like an essay but they are completely useless. Something that can be expressed in one or two sentences, someone expanded it to 500-800 characters.

So they are no longer one-line post spammers, but "valuable" members of the forum.

Royse, Tumbler.io still doesn't have his ANN on this forum, we need it.

Maybe you won't believe it, but every trader, even the best ones, was new and beginners at some point. It is certainly understandable that there are losses during the learning period, but it is a process. The most important thing is to be aware of your abilities and not to overestimate them, so you will certainly not have losses beyond the permissible limit.

Anyway, what do you mean with automatic investment?  :-\

Automatic investment will not overcome the lack of knowledge, on the contrary, even worse. If mistakes happen, it is much more difficult to recognize where the mistake happened. Automation tools, only if you make it yourself according to yourself and your habits/needs.

Gambling discussion / Re: The Positives of Gambling
« on: January 05, 2024, 11:52:57 PM »
I don't know how gambling, like any type of addiction, can have any positive impact. Not even as a hobby, unless the fact that you can share experiences and interests with other gamblers is perhaps socially acceptable.
Today I saw a topic copied from BTT, "Never gamble in front of your kids" or something like that. If there is anything positive, I guess we would teach the children about it, not hide it from them.

OP he probably won't read anything here, but I believe there are great chances that he will return the money that was stolen. It's a wire transfer, not crypto, there must be real people behind everything. Also, Youtube influencer is not inaccessible to the competent authorities.

i believe this says it all. I don't usually trust my funds in another to help me invest and give me returns because i believe if they that good they wont be needing my capital.

First, no legal platform will ask you for additional money to enable you to withdraw. That's a big red flag.

By the way, who the hell invests $10,000 or anything at all based on the advice of a YouTuber?

759
I saw this case on BTT, what a poor and pathetic way to promote services.
They created a false accusation against themselves without any problems, to collect positive feedback because, well, they successfully solved the issue.

I would not trust them in any case.

So you don't see the problem at the moment, but you are still sure it will be.

If we'll see the problem, we'll try to improve the situation.

These are all problems that have already been recognized, perhaps due to less activity they were not so pronounced here. I assumed that it was better to prevent it than to correct it afterwards.
Only 4 campaign signatures have arrived here, I believe there will be more, multiaccounting and AI writing posts will become a normal phenomenon.

I am trying to create a notification bot for the forum.
Good idea!
Are this notifications going to work with telegram or directly with forum?

I think it is modelled on the "Loyce notification bot", where the user would have his web page with "mentions" posts.

It's a pity that we don't have notifications here  :o, now I would mention @admin and he would be activated in this topic.

To improve the holiday spirit, I will burn some more tokens to include more users in this raffle. admin, I hope that's ok.
Very few teleported members hold this token, so I would activate some of them.
So, for example, hugeblack, bitmover and dkbit98, I pay for each of them 5 tickets. 183003 ALTT (I guess I calculated correctly)

Here is tx: 0x8d4a9363bbab56fd85997e127c619eb9ac203df6242aae1ddbbabb7a85c8d603

Ho, Ho, I won again  ;D
Thank you, admin, for this, I hope that there will be more raffles like this in the future and of course more participants. Certainly a good start.

If I remember it correctly, they're blocking some IPs because they were used to attack the clearnet domains, not necessarily to filter out people from using their mixing services. Hence why the onion link is recommended for users who want to mix coins and care about privacy. They answered this question in the past, not sure if the policy has changed or not. I remember some of my IPs from my ISP were blocked from accessing the clearnet too, but I can use the tor link just fine.

Based on their last post here, it is a block for certain states, not just an individual IP address. So I was more curious about what was happening and what are the high-risk countries.
In doing so we talk about the mixer, not about Exchange where there are many different regulations.

We have blocked a few high risk countries for security reasons.

We have now unblocked most of them, try again.
This block only means that your IP address is from a country that we have blocked.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin hardware wallet
« on: January 05, 2024, 11:26:04 AM »
Why did you update the firmware? It actually allows other campaigns to view your cid phrase. Specifically...9 campaigns will have bits of words from your full phrase. How can Leadger be considered safe and secure after that?

I was forced to do the update firmware on the Ledger X when I wanted to trade on the PancakeSwap. I am quite sure that Ledger will generally become unusable over time without the latest update. So trying to break out their "recovery service" risk is just a delay of the inevitable.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Fee Finally Down below 40 Sat/vb
« on: January 05, 2024, 10:13:56 AM »
Okay, but does anyone know what is the reason for the fee correction?

As I know, there are a lot of spammers on the network, even Ordilans. For example, a bunch of dust transactions with high fees. paying a fee $5 to transfer $0.24
