Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Which exchange do you prefer for trading?
« on: January 03, 2021, 07:07:20 PM »
I use Kraken and Binance but will have to use some more due to SEC, if all US based exchanges are going to have issues due to SEC I will have to leave Kraken and find another. And it's something that bothers me a lot, I've been using Kraken for years and I like it for the safety and reputation it has.

Before delisting these coins, Bittrex has made an announcement beforehand so it is safe for us because we can withdraw our assets in these coins, but this will have a little impact on the coins that are delisted from this market.

Bittrex (and all exchanges) is obliged to give its clients a grace period to withdraw their funds, otherwise they would be acting against the law with the legal problems that this may have. What I would like to know is if all exchanges based in the United States are going to have to do the same to be legally covered or at the moment it is only a matter of Bittrex.

Has risen 21.57% in the last 24 hours. Luckily it looks like some alts are cheering up in the wake of Bitcoin, I hope it does not fall below $920 to maintain the strong demand that is going down right now.

Until Bitcoin has several corrections (up to $19,000 as some say), Ethereum will not be able to go much higher than it is now. For that the money would have to enter the global capitalization, not only in Bitcoin as is happening right now. We have to wait for those corrections. It's supposed to happen this year (or not).

¿Alguien lo vio el mismo día?.

Muy pocos, pero esa portada cada día es más conocida por todos, sobre todo por el mensaje del Canciller.

Ripple News & Updates / Re: Binance US Says It Will Delist XRP on Jan. 13
« on: January 03, 2021, 01:38:13 PM »
The SEC's attack on Ripple is just the beginning. As I said in another thread, now it is the turn of the best known anonymous currencies (Dash, XMR, ZEC), which has made Bittrex delist them from January 15th. Bittrex hasn't received (at least publicly) any notification from the SEC, but it already knows where they will go.

General Discussion / Re: Can you quite your job to bounty hunting?
« on: January 03, 2021, 12:02:18 PM »
I do not think it is advisable to leave your job to dedicate yourself to the bounty... Bounty may fail, not pay you, may be scam, may be worth pennies over time. Your job may fail too, but fewer factors come into play than in your job.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will Bitcoin Replace Gold as Store of Value?
« on: January 03, 2021, 11:50:55 AM »
They cannot compete in the same segment, Bitcon is digital and Gold is physical. Each has its own market niche. Although both are a reserve of value (in my opinion) their function must be differentiated, their way of working and their demand. Bitcoin should grow much more than it grows these days to reach the capitalization of Gold.

@Triedboy I am with you in what you say, what I mean is that sooner or later there will be one or more corrections, we all agree that it can go up to $50,000 and much more, but we also have to agree that there must be corrections, the market and history show it. Without corrections there would be no organic growth.

8455
To get to $50,000, you'd have to put in a lot more money than Bitcoin's capitalization has come in. It's going up a lot and very fast, yes, but at some point a correction will come and it will be quite large, I have read some market predictions that say it could go down to $19,000. Personally I hope it's not that big, but if it is, I hope this correction will get more money moving towards altcoins.

8456
If the money is distributed in the total capitalization yes @Expert but in this case it is only for Bitcoin. We will have to wait for a big correction in Bitcoin to maybe see others grow a bit.

8457
Even if they haven't received any notification from the SEC or the courts, Bittrex can remove those pairs to prevent potential lawsuits or bigger issues until things are sorted out. In fact, I think it's okay for them to do it the way they are doing and not have worse problems.

8458
@Ghozrd in this case the problem is the SEC, if the SEC starts suing the exchanges (from USA) that work with anonymous currencies, those currencies must be eliminated preventively at least until the courts order it. If after the processes there are no legal problems they can be listed again.

8459
It is a direct attack on anonymous currencies. It looks like the SEC is going to extend its claws beyond XRP. I hope not all exchanges do the same. If all XMR, DASH and ZEC holders sell their bags those 3 markets will collapse, if they do (I would not like) at least I would like that money to enter other good coins/tokens.

2 minutes ago it reached $30.781,88, if the money continues to enter only in Bitcoin and the whole market does not collapse this year we can see  $50,000 and maybe more, who knows.
