Forum related / Re: Next 1M posts target within 2021. Is it possible?
« on: December 31, 2020, 06:27:32 PM »
Thanks @Malam90!!!

@Jamal Aezaz in part I agree with what you say, but to give you an idea I will tell you that since December 29 until now 45 new users have been registered, we need that number to multiply at least x4 every day to reach the numbers you say. And it is possible to do it together. I hope we see those 2 million in 2021 as you say mate.

We need everyone, teleported and non-teleported, to keep up with quality posts, with good bounties and new ideas, so we'll get that new million sooner than expected. We need promotion, social networks are a very good tool for that, but from what I see the official forum account is not very active, at least in Twitter.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bullrun 2020 vs bullrun 2017
« on: December 31, 2020, 01:20:47 PM »
The biggest difference (besides what people have learned) is that the 2017 Bitcoin capitalization was $320,575,829,568 and today is $ 220,000,000,000 more only for Bitcoin. That makes altcoins relegated to the background which i dont think will change anytime soon, people right now just want to see Bitcoin and sell their altcoins to buy more Bitcoin.

Bitcoin's market capitalization in 2017 (his last bull run) was $320,575,829,568, today its capitalization is $540,988,178,606, I can't imagine what would have to happen for a Bitcoin to be worth a million dollars.

Voting / Re: Which one is the absolute reason why bitcoin remains?
« on: December 31, 2020, 10:53:46 AM »
I have voted for popularity, but I also believe that what makes Bitcoin remain is the freedom that it can give anyone anywhere in the world. There are no longer borders, governments or banks telling us what to do, no matter how hard they try. But it is also true that large investors and whales are very interested in Bitcoin being more alive every day.

You welcome @Abubakar56. Get your funds out of there as fast as you can. And remember to save all emails (and keep a copy of the ones you send them) and take screenshots of what may happen.

Looking at how the page loads, I see that it makes too many requests to various servers and services (quite a bit more than before) the load is quite slow compared to other indexers... Since they bought it, it has become a store for Binance, and I personally don't like that. Fortunately there are alternatives.

Among the big investors and some whales, it seems that it will be close to $30,000 before the end of the year, if it exceeds that figure I can't imagine what could happen. On the other hand for me the "worst" are the altcoins, which are not having organic growth.

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Xrp Trading Suspended
« on: December 31, 2020, 09:47:11 AM »
After the latest news, and all the exchanges that are suspending their support for XRP the situation is not very good, if everything continues like this and Ripple cannot stop the SEC I am very afraid that this is the beginning of the end of XRP.

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Xrp Trading Suspended
« on: December 30, 2020, 04:25:56 PM »
kukoin decided to get additional profit on a series of negative events, since it is tender for traders to store their XRP coins somewhere, and because of this competition new traders may come to them
I think this is one of the brilliant ideas from kuCoin, as it indirectly introduces their exchange to new traders.  Do you think XRP will die or still exist and will color this crypto world.  I am waiting for your prediction.

I do not think that XRP is going to die, and less overnight, what if it is going to happen is that the price will continue to fall, and the more exchanges suspend the trade, the lower it will be. Ripple Labs has a lot of money to spend on lawyers, and of course, they won't be quiet.

The truth is that the continued attacks by the SEC will leave XRP's reputation on the ground.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Crypto iN all Over the world
« on: December 30, 2020, 03:25:34 PM »
Some cryptocurrencies are bad projects for scam purposes. There are also times when the bans are good. States can impose bans to protect their citizens. There is no ban in my country. I am happy for now.  ;)

This is how it should be, but out of 100 scams few are detected until it is too late, and governments do nothing to go after scammers, their mind is limited to prohibiting everything that has to do with cryptography, they do not know or do not want to synthesize the information. The simplest thing for them is to say "let's ban cryptocurrencies" but they don't do it thinking of citizens, they do it thinking of their interests, the interests of banks and large corporations.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Why Are Crypto Exchanges Hacked So Often?
« on: December 30, 2020, 01:47:35 PM »
From what I have seen over the years, most of the hacked exchanges are due to lack of security, as they say has happened with the last case, Livecoin, with Cryptopia something similar happened, although I think they were going to return the funds to users (we'll see if they do or not) although I've seen quite a few exit scams as well.

Forum related / Re: Popularity of Altcoinstalks Forum.

It has always been said that comparisons are hateful. I don't think it is a question of comparing the numbers of one forum with the other. Iit's about having admins and mods who know what they're doing, having good content, and continuing to grow. Everything else will come alone.
