Ethereum Forum / Re: Why BitCoin is more expensive than ETH?
« on: December 01, 2018, 05:17:21 AM »
Ask a person on the street what Ethereum is... I'm sure most will give you a blank stare. However I'd say most people know about Bitcoin. It was the first crypto and has the first-mover advantage. I'd agree ETH provides more value, but I don't see Ethereum taking over any time soon.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What do you expect this December 2018?
« on: November 30, 2018, 03:44:15 AM »
I honestly think any large upward spike for crypto will happen early in 2019. So I expect BTC to be up and down in the $3000 to $5000 range.

Yeah I definitely won't be selling anything at these prices. If anything, now is the time to accumulate more crypto in any way you can... so when the bulls return, you'll be ready.

I'd like to buy some more at these prices, but I'm kinda tapped out at the moment. If we're still around this area in January I think I'll scoop some more up.

I mean it COULD come out of nowhere... but I guess I wouldn't count on it. In fact, I am completely clueless as to what the market is going to do haha

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are You Becoming A Slave To Crypto?
« on: November 28, 2018, 04:44:58 AM »
I used to do a ton of stuff to earn crypto. This year I've scaled back significantly. I'm just focusing on the few things that I think will earn me more crypto rather than trying to get every last satoshi I can get my hands on.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: 98% Of Present Bounties Are Worthless
« on: November 28, 2018, 04:42:50 AM »
I just recently started doing bounties, so I hope this isn't the case. I've received one so far and the token price tanked when the bounty was given out.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Quit bounties or continue?
« on: November 27, 2018, 02:21:47 AM »
I'm hoping many of the bounties that I support will have successful platforms. So when the market picks back up I think I'll be richly rewarded for sticking with it :)

I mean it's a free market and the best exchanges should succeed and the worst will hopefully fail. The problem with too many exchanges is that there can be very low volume when it's divided up.

« on: November 25, 2018, 03:57:54 AM »
I think if Bitcoin hits $3000 I'll be inclined to buy a whole one. I only own .25 of one right now, so it'd be nice to be able to afford it I guess.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are There Benefits To Exchange Listing?
« on: November 24, 2018, 05:53:49 AM »
Well sometimes people might want to buy a coin but they don't have an exchange account at one of the few places a coin is listed... and a listing sort of makes people aware a project exists. On the flip side, it can make it easier for people to dump it.

Dash Forum / Re: Can Dash overcome ETH?
« on: November 24, 2018, 05:51:03 AM »
I think it's possible. Dash is a much better coin than many in the top 10 like Litecoin and BitcoinCash. So hopefully more people start to realize that.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: The 2018 rally is officially dead?
« on: November 23, 2018, 03:41:12 AM »
Yeah, I don't see things magically turning around in December. There will have to be a big positive development to bring crypto out of this bear market.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: We are still early adopters
« on: November 23, 2018, 03:38:49 AM »
Yeah, you're totally right. Many people are aware of Bitcoin, but relatively few actually own a significant amount of cryptocurrency. So if adoption increases, we're golden.

This kind of boom and bust has happened several times in the life of crypto. It might not be for a while, but there will almost certainly be another boom.
