MyEtherWallet / Re: received an email from myetherwallet?
« on: February 11, 2021, 07:52:19 PM »
After logging in to my email, i came across this message reading, "please follow the link below to claim tokens on myetherwallet". Funny enough, i just remembered we dont create myetherwallet with emails.
Becareful guys. A lot of phishing is going on

Pleasing to see how vigilant you came. I think a lot of newbies would have easily fallen for that. EtherAddressLookup might be an ideal tool against that. Random links can be very costly. Holders can be very careful if this. And also, MEW is so helpful too against such malicious activities.

MyEtherWallet / Re: Official My ether Wallet website
« on: February 11, 2021, 07:44:30 PM »
I only use MyEtherWallet as I have my private key and wallet address, but this EtherAddressLookup, I just heard about it. Where can I get more information about it from a legit site.
It is basically a browser extension. You can add it if you you use Chrome through this Link —° https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/etheraddresslookup/pdknmigbbbhmllnmgdfalmedcmcefdfn?hl=en-GB
Prevent and Keep you safe against phishing and malicious programs that might steal your crypto and also it links you directly through address to block explorer. I believe it is safe for use. You can do more research and add it from official source.

Terminology / Re: 51% Attack - Meaning - Definition
« on: February 10, 2021, 09:13:45 PM »
Great explanation and spot on.
The era of random 51% attack is far approaching its end. At least to bitcoin and lots of top altcoins. The costs to launch a successful 51% attack for BTC is much more higher than it was back in 2018 and now, it is almost not feasible anymore. And also most projects taking to PoS algorithm is a stumbling block to 51% attack. The network are much more secured.

Dogecoin Forum / Re: How To Earn Dogecoin
« on: February 10, 2021, 09:06:28 PM »
Hello,I want to know about, How many systems of earn Dogecoin...I don't have Enough Knowledge abou earning dogecoin...
Don't think there is such freebie opportunity to earn Dogecoin through telegram bots and Airdrops anymore. Far from that. Dogecoin is turning around from being a mere meme coin to a potential investment to guarantee high ROI in recent times. To have Dogecoin now, you'll need to purchase.  8)

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Could the doge be $ 1?
« on: February 10, 2021, 09:03:41 PM »
The $ 1 rumors about the Doge coin have started appearing a lot on some social media outlets. In terms of the total amount of Doge coins, I do not expect it to be $ 1 this time, but this is not clear in the crypto case. Many things were said to be impossible.
Do you think the Doge coin could be $ 1?
I believe so. It is going to even hit some higher highs in recent future. At least, Musk doesn't seems to cease tweeting about it, giving it the maximum PR and buy signals it needs. $1 is sure a bit far from being realistic right now but anything is possible in crypto.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Trust wallat?
« on: February 10, 2021, 09:00:29 PM »
For me, Trust wallets is probably the best multi currency wallet with the nicest of features too. Secured; can be easily recovered with the recovery phase; support dApps and have a safe inbuilt dex exchange and swapping feature.
With Binance company oversee, I also think it is in safe hands too. Trust more development.

Community Coins & Tokens / Re: Talk Coin
« on: February 09, 2021, 03:15:16 PM »
Talk coin was issued by the no other CT forum and is considered its original forum coins which are rewarded to users by posting in no other CT forum. Currently Talk token price is very low and its almost $1=175 Talk coins. So if you invest in it and take a few dollars rick then the return will be in high profit in future because no forum wants to dump its own coin.
Yeah. I think it is very much worth investing it. First of all, it is currently in its all time low (7sat) and that is looking like a big advantage. It is still very much in its developmental phase, no official usecases for now but big ones are promised hopefully in this current year. Pending that time too, they can be invested in Yobit investbox for daily 1% interest.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trade on the Exchange, not in a "wallet"
« on: February 09, 2021, 02:59:21 PM »
For Doge and other cryptocurrencies, a new cryptocurrency wallet called the Atomic wallet can be used very conveniently. You can be convinced of its usefulness for storing and exchanging cryptocurrencies. But I can't figure out how you used Trust Wallet to store Doge coin?
Yeah. You read that right. Trust wallet is a multi-currency wallet. And also, it supports both trading (though not a good practice) and storing of it. I don't know why you are surprised. Or maybe you aren't aware of this.
Go to your wallet. Search for Doge and click to create a wallet. Simple.

Understandable with Uniswap as well as FTX, I am not particularly convinced of the other two. Also, I think Uniswap and other decentralised exchange deserve to be listed in there. We now live in the world of DeFi and they are fast gaining ground. ShushiSwap might also be considered.

Crypto Exchanges / Re: Which exchanges already hacked??
« on: February 08, 2021, 08:01:12 PM »
I know so far below listed exchanges are already seized by hackers ..
Binance
Kucoin
Cruptopia
Livecoin
Etherdelta (DNS)
??
??

Add more if you know.
Exchange hacks has never been a new thing. It can be dated back to as far as when bitcoin was first being traded on exchange with one of the earliest one - Mt.Gox back in 2011. And a repeated one with the same exchange (Mt.Gox) later on.
Other hacks different from the mentioned - Localbitcoin; Bitfinex; Shapeshift; Bithump etc.

Crypto Exchanges / Re: 5 Best Cryptocurrency Exchanges for Beginners
« on: February 07, 2021, 05:49:36 PM »
i think according to my opinion the best and the most simply exchange for super beginners is yobit , good trading liquidity , good support also and lot of ways to earn bitcoin even without trading or investing ..
Right. An exchange recommend for beginners must be one with great ease-of-use and with lots of opportunities both in trading and Investments. I think Yobit exchange posses lots of that bar underwhelming user interface and navigation especially on mobile and a very weak customer support.
I would recommend it but I think Nominex exchange is more suitable for beginners.

DeFi tokens / Re: How to know a DeFi scam
« on: February 07, 2021, 05:14:26 PM »
Fake/Non-existent team
It is an increasingly common trend for scammers to invent fake founders and biographies for their projects, and stick it o their websites. Some don't bother at all. Having said this, some legit DeFi projects have anonymous team members. This point shouldn't be a deal breaker though.
I believe for every project to an investor, this should be the major criteria to take note going forward, might not necessarily be DeFi specifically.
It is very perfect to say a project without a proper team or an anonymous/fake team is either born to fail or it is totally a fake one from scrap. It is the most important thing in my opinion.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Which trading bots are you using.
« on: February 07, 2021, 04:57:13 PM »
Don't ever trade using bots, because as far as I can see, to this day I have not found a trading bot that really gives maximum profit, and quite the opposite is a lot of losses.
My advice, better use your money to learn to trade and the rest as your capital to trade manually.
Obviously, that's more advisable. Learning and trading manually, taking it step by step to manage risks that comes with trading.
I don't also use trading bots but still, they are not totally unsafe. There are excellent bots with good algorithm which will help bring out good results but just so, they won't come free or cheap and it is quite hard finding the perfect ones.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trade on the Exchange, not in a "wallet"
« on: February 04, 2021, 12:36:25 PM »
Though I agree wallets shouldn't be made like an exchange but it could be used in quick time once in a blue moon. Recently, I used trust wallet too for Dogecoin.
Do you use a Trust wallet to trade Dogecoin? or just keep it?
Because I also occasionally use Trust Wallet to trade small amounts, like TWT when it was pumping a few days ago.
Yeah. I traded fiat for Doge recently when I needed to purchase some for the bullish trends through MasterCard. I think it was much easier without need for transfers for the fact that I can also keep them inside as a safe wallet too. I think it is a new feature.

Binance / Re: Binance vsUniswap
« on: February 04, 2021, 12:27:11 PM »
For Uniswap, I still think that i
s an absolute impressive volume compared to the number one cryptocurrency trading platform, Binance.
Uniswap is one of the breakthrough innovation in cryptocurrency, the power of decentralisation though it is not perfect, it will do bigger numbers in the future competitive to Binance.
First, I dont think it right to compare the two exchange because they are totally diferent, I mean Binance is CEX while Uniswap is DEX. With that been said, if we are to talk about the exchange with breakthrough innovation we both know it Binance cause it the first exchange to implement SAFU and features to give their user free coin. If check all the features implemented by Uniswap you'll that their team learn from Binance features.
Obviously, you are right. I am actually not making direct comparison between a decentralised and a centralised exchange. There are clear differences and I am aware of that.
And I think even with your point which I agree, the point still remain - " Uniswap is ONE of the breakthrough innovation". As long as Decentralised finance is concerned, uniswap cannot be irrelevant. It is the first and probably, the best of its kind.
