Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin hardware wallet
« on: January 13, 2024, 10:32:19 PM »
I have not used any hardware wallets, but I think Trezor Safe 3 is one of the best hardware wallets. For those who don't have the funds to afford hardware wallets, electrum, exodus, safe pal, and blue wallet are great software wallets.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Which coin is the best for future?
« on: January 13, 2024, 10:01:03 PM »
Well, there are many altcoins out there in the market that have been persistent and have not really become shitcoins, but one thing that anybody cannot really be certain about is whether the coin or token can actually pump in this coming bull market or in the future. We all know how Tera Luna disappointed many investors and even made some people go bankrupt. The only altcoins I can still vauch for now are those that are still well established, like etherium, BNB, and matic. I am also optimistic that dogecion will surely pump, but I don't know when. If I have some spare cash, I can consider investing in the few that I listed.

903
Some years ago, there were some altcoins that really did have a very good market capitalization, and some of those coins were really among the top 10 ranking coins, but as the years went by, the project owners stopped promoting the project and investors began to sell off, which caused the price of the coin to crash. We all know that Bitcoin is the first thing to consider when thinking of crypto investment. You can further choose to add other altcoins like etherium and bnb, but if you decide to invest in other tokens, you should only invest what you are willing to lose.

904
Investing in new altcoins are risky most of the time cause its difficult to predict the future at all. But people who have money, they investment in new coins for grow their capital more, besides they hold potential altcoins for avoid loss. Some IDOs, laucnpad like binance sometimes sales NEW token/coins. Most of those new projects gets successful but hard to qualify or investment due to incredible demand. Although no one assurance you sure benefit at all. It takes lots of effort to find out and still risky

Yeah, at least it's good if one actually has invested in other highly valued coins like Bitcoin before they can decide to play around with other altcoins. If an investor decides to take a risk of investment in a new coin, they will totally not lose when the new coin fails to generate profit for them, and that's because they may have invested in other good coins like Bitcoin but only want to try luck with altcoins because it could also be profitable when you least expect it. There are some coins that usually do well when they are first listed on an exchange, but after some time, their value will begin to drop until they lose their total value and market volume. If you are lucky enough to invest in the early period, you will make a profit.

General Discussion / Re: crypto legelity
« on: January 12, 2024, 11:54:53 PM »
hello every one im new in this forum, i have to share something may be every one know or not.you guys don't believe that in 2024 many countrys in the world has declare crypto is illegal :( .why they do that i personally say no logic.but hope as soon as possible they accept it.
i research of them and i found
A.some of them not even know properly about cryto.
B.most of them are corrupt minded so if crypto get legality then government unable to control peoples money.
C.technology sense low level
may be there are more reason .
ok wish me luck

@hollowdoor, When bringing up information like this, it's always better if you put up a reference link to back up your claim, because without that, it's assumed you are only vaguely saying this, probably because you just want to create a thread. I know that in the past few years, most countries have already banned cryptocurrencies in their countries, so it's not a new thing. With you saying that so many countries banned or declared cryptocurrencies illegal this year (2024), it is quite unagreeable if there is no article that mention this news, and perhaps just this year, the Nigerian government just lifted the ban that was placed on cryptocurrency interaction in the Nigerian banks.

I would love to be among the marketing team because I have a good knowledge about marketing. What basically drives the popularity and exposure of a project is the marketing strategy of the team involved.

Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in a gambler essential?
« on: January 12, 2024, 11:30:53 PM »
Lol, this is absolutely nonsense, and only a fool will be willing to give him money to gamble, thinking that they are making any meaningful investment in him. By the way, who even said gambling was a proper way to earn money? Gambling is for fun, and despite the fact that we may make some money from gambling, it doesn't give us an edge to believe that gambling is a sustainable source of income. Please kindly secure your money and don't waste it on this kind of investment. To win in gambling is not certain.

908
Running a casino is more profitable to the casino owners than to gamblers, and that's a known fact. If gamblers are allowed to win more than usual, that means that casinos will run out of funds to pay out. Since you are referring to casino coin, I have not really invested in any casino token, but I feel that if a casino is very successful and popular, that means their token will actually get promoted and will be profitable to those that invested in it. Although, as long as the token is still an alt coin, you cannot predict it.

You can tap on the image to watch the full video. It was crazy to see this kind of luck slip from a gambler's hands simply because his device malfunctioned. It was funny to me, but at the same time, it saddens me. I wonder how bad the gambler felt.

Have you been faced with this kind of gambling problem? If not this particular one, what other annoying incident have you ever experienced in gambling?

On that video, what happened was that a dude from South Africa was gambling on a casino site known as Betway. The guy staked ZAR 277.08, and when he started the round, he got about 4,870.24x multiplier, which doubled his staked amount up to ZAR 73,059, which is about $3,900+. he lost the money because he was unable to cash out before he crashed.

In my case, I have not actually experienced any situation like that, apart from the usual disappointment you will experience with a club after you place a bet on them, believing so firmly that nothing will stop that club from winning, but they end up losing.

I felt there is need to still continue this discussion here

Off topic & Sports / Re: How to survive in January on a low budget.
« on: January 12, 2024, 10:41:49 PM »
I will like to add this! Avoid deficit budget spending , it will surely drain you, most of us in Nigeria are used to buying what we don't plan for anyhow and this is not a good practice it leaves someone  stranded on term of money and I think I should just conjoin with spending extravagantly.

Yes, unplanned spending is really a problem for most people, but at a point, I only thought that unplanned spending affected people who were younger, but I realized that no matter their age, some people can still spend recklessly. Just like Cantsay said, the best option to help such a person is to always make a budget for how you intend to spend every dollar that enters your hand.

I was always finding it difficult to save up money when I was young because every damn thing I saw would always attract me, and I would want to have that thing even if I didn't necessarily need it. But now that I have grown past that age and am faced with some other important responsibilities,

Nigerian Languages / Re: Are Shit coins good investment?
« on: January 12, 2024, 10:27:09 PM »
There are shit coins worth trying  but as you've said it's  not advisable  for beginners  as it might be very tricky and also starters should know therea difference between  Altcoins and Shitcoins  although they are generally categorised as Altcoins  but shitcoins are coins with relative low amount of price value  as low as 10E-7

Altcoins is for those that want to take the risk, just like gambling. You can freely and easily invest in altcoins, but you cannot say for sure if the project can pump and generate profit for you, and that's why newbies are usually advised to stay off altcoins until they understand the risk facts of investing. Someone said that we can't condemn investing in altcoins, which I actually agree with because many people have actually made profit from altcoins while others have lost money.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: TIPS FOR DOING AIRDROPS
« on: January 12, 2024, 10:03:22 PM »
I obviously think that airdrops are not really worth wasting one's precious time and data on because they will only pay you little or nothing that can compensate for all the time and data you will spend just to carry out those required activities that will qualify you to earn from them.

Even before I bought some dogecions, I first earned some of it through airdrops, but back then, the coin was just worthless. I know I still made some tangible dollars through airdrops, but it's not really as profitable as before, despite the fact that there is no competition again, like you said.

Op, you gotten many response so far from different people, but I want categorically tell you that if you must invest this time which I know that it will yield much fruit for you, I believe that bitcoin is the way to go, the reliability and trustworthiness of bitcoin has made it very essential among other coin, bitcoin is well known and does not need the influence of other coin to grow, instead other coin needs it's rise in price to gather momentum in terms investors influx, so my advise to you is that, you should start accumulating now that we have experience the main bullish so that you won't felt being left in the dark, always Bitcoin that's the mindset.

You are very correct about this, man. Bitcoin doesn't actually need the promotion and visibility of campaigns for other coins and projects before it keeps dominating the way it has been going. The fact is that Bitcoin is marketing itself every day because it is the first on the list of top cryptocurrencies, has the highest trading volume, and also has a very high number of investors compared to other investors. Like I said before, even if OP invests in Bitcoin now, he will surely make a profit in the future because Bitcoin has a lot more to accomplish.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: MANAGING RISK IN THE CRYPTO MARKET
« on: January 12, 2024, 09:32:18 PM »
I find all your detailed points so interesting, and you are obviously right about risk management, especially in cryptocurrency trading and investment. The fact of chasing profit and chasing losses is what most people usually fall victim to and can end up losing their capital. Some people have the chance to make a profit from their investment if they hold it for a long time, but because they actually want to make a very quick profit, they can choose to go on the steady buy low and sell high route and might set a buy order which might execute at a very high price. We all know how volatile the crypto market can be.

Chasing loss is another thing that some people love to do after they have experienced a huge loss, they would want to do every possible thing just to gain back their lost fund.

Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not for Everyone
« on: January 11, 2024, 11:58:39 PM »
I understand the message you are trying to pass. Gambling is for those who has made up their mind to experience both profit and loss. If an individual is only thinking of venturing into gambling because they only think of the money they will make out of it (it's a wrong approach), it's wise to know that they will also experience series of loses. As a matter of fact, casinos usually make more profit than the gamblers. Gambling is for those who understand what it is all about and still wants to continue with it.
