Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin price changes in the new year.
« on: January 17, 2024, 11:22:59 PM »
Well, Bitcoin halving is just around the corner; there are just three months to go, and these three months are easy to say on the mouth, but it's still very possible that Bitcoin can really archive a high price before the halving takes place. From your poll, I have chosen $55k–$60k. I feel convinced that the price of Bitcoin will really be in the range of $50k and above during the halving month. Although I am not very certain because the Bitcoin price can be very dynamic and unpredictable, Another thing I feel more sure of is that Bitcoin is not going back below $40k.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BTC supply crisis will appear soon
« on: January 17, 2024, 11:13:55 PM »
If all the data and information as said is actually correct, then it's obvious that the price of Bitcoin will definitely reach an all-time high. Although throughout last year, there has been high speculation regarding the price of Bitcoin skyrocketing, which i also believe that the price of Bitcoin will surely explode like you said.

The fact is that, since 2021 up until date, I know that the rule of "Not your key, not your coin. " Have overly spread in the space, and investors are now putting off their holdings from CEX. Another thing that led to that is because of some exchange hacks and collapses that have happened around the same time, so people have more reasons not to trust CEX.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Disadvantages of Bitcoin ETF
« on: January 17, 2024, 10:49:31 PM »
Everything that has an advantage usually has disadvantages. As far as I'm concerned, I don't quite like the BTC EFT because it's not a decentralized system. Investors on the ETF would likely have their identity known, which IMO is not really safe. A question I asked myself one day regarding these was: what if the SEC decides to bring up any new rules against known Bitcoin holders due to this ETF? The future is quite unpredictable, and anything could happen. It's more safe to invest in Bitcoin and hold it in your own custodial wallet because, like the first comment said, there is one great rule of investing in Bitcoin, which is not your key, not your coin.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: 100 days Left For Bitcoin halving
« on: January 16, 2024, 10:39:18 PM »
Investing in the DCA method does not involve market analysis. You need to create a budget that keeps the investment whether weekly or daily. Invest by looking at the market and that investment will not come into your DCA method. If the market goes up and you sell your investment and wait to buy further down, your investment will not be in the DCA method. To invest in DCA method you must do it daily or weekly or monthly but you must do it constantly.

Yes, you are right. DCA is not the same as buying low and selling high; those who think of buying low and selling high are referred to as short-term traders, and oftentimes they are not usually as profitable as those who buy more constantly on DCA and hold in their wallet for a long time until they make a profit.

The only way I feel anyone can also increase holding is by using Bitcoin's sell-to-buy more strategy, which still involves buying and holding for years until the market becomes bulliah.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: HOW TO IMPROVE PSYCHOLOGY IN TRADING
« on: January 16, 2024, 10:28:11 PM »
Well, these five points are actually good guidance for trading. If a trader, whether a newbie or an experienced trader, follows these steps, they will not constantly experience heavy losses that can result in blowing their account. For a long time now, I have not been trading. Although my pattern of trading is mostly buying altcoins at a low price and selling if the price goes up a bit, I have not been trading features and derivatives because of the high risk, but that doesn't mean I have not traded features before.

As a matter of fact, just two days ago, I decided to test my trading skills again using my favorite exchange for futures trading, which is Digifinex.

I discovered they now have a new feature, which is a demo practice account, so I decided to practice there for a while with a demo balance of $1000. I placed about 5 trades (positions) and increased the demo balance to $1,567, but I got greedy. I should have just stopped trading that day and continued the next day, but instead I continued until I lost all the balance again.

Conclusion and a little advice: if you have actually made enough profit for the day, kindly log off and close trade for that day. Also, don't get greedy; no profit is too small. $100-$500 profit is really a good amount of earnings for a day.

Speaking about "Crypto," You are not specifically talking about one coin or token. The truth is that there are thousands of cryptocurrencies in the crypto market, and the price of many of those tokens is still very low. Some of them will pump when the bull market is full, and some will not also appreciate in value.

If you are more specific talking about either Bitcoin or Etherium or Binance Coin or Lite Coin, then we could be more precise about the discussion. Some people think that Bitcoin is too expensive to invest in, but realistically, Bitcoin has a higher price to be reached, which means that if an investor buys Bitcoin now and patiently holds it for a long time, they will make a profit. The price of Bitcoin or any other coin is usually very unpredictable. You might be hoping for the price to fall more, but shockingly, you see a sharp increase.

When I was really active with the buying and selling of altcoins, my friend introduced me to the Coingecko site, which has a section for newly listed coins. You can see the image below. Coingecko is also a coin tracking site, and from experience, it is very active, but the risk with altcoins is that you can never predict the success of any newly listed project. I still vividly remember some coins that I discovered and bought through the Coingecko site; most of those coins are now dead.

Investing in altcoins through the process you are describing doesn't mean that an investor can actually be lucky to meet great projects that will be profitable to him all the time; there is a chance of experiencing losses too.

In the crypto space, security is really a paramount thing that can decide the safety of an investor's fund. There are some people who actually did not take their security very seriously, but after facing some ugly situations, they were not told to be more security conscious.

Some years ago, I lost my funds because of my carelessness about my security, although I learned from my mistake and have not fallen victim to the security bridge. You have shared great information here, @OP, and I think it's wise for everyone to take their security more seriously.

Michael Saylor is a big investor in the Bitcoin space, but as far as I know, most people don't usually agree with every of his teachings regarding Bitcoin; instead, there are other articles recommended for Bitcoin beginners. The reason is not because Saylor is not right about most of what he says, but because the truth is that only most people who have been in the Bitcoin space for a long time would know how to follow up on his ideas.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Don't buy bitcoin only because of FOMO
« on: January 15, 2024, 11:07:59 PM »
It's hard for me to differentiate between FOMO and my own peace when buying Bitcoin because the FOMO from Bitcoin is so very strong.
Many members on this forum are very interested in being carried away by the flow of FOMO, including myself, but unfortunately I can't buy Bitcoin because I don't have the money.
Maybe the best way is not to buy Bitcoin because it's better for me to look for Bitcoin with my expertise in the Altcoinstalks forum, as I said, if women choose to buy Bitcoin, maybe for them it's better to buy "make up" or whatever they need for the household. ;D ;D

Well, it's not really difficult to invest in Bitcoin without giving attention to the fear of missing out. You only need to start on time to accumulate your bitcoin using the dollar-coil averaging strategy. What makes some people invest in Bitcoin because of FOMO is simply because some investors will keep procrastinating their investment until the price has started increasing so quickly.

If you want to have peace of mind investing in Bitcoin, you should start to invest on time, buy every dip you can witness, and also invest just the amount that you can probably hold for a long time.

Dogecoin Forum / Re: DOGE for Tesla
« on: January 14, 2024, 11:04:01 PM »
Do you think Doge is waiting for the flight? And will there be a new ATH?

The last ATH was $0.9, and the next pump will definitely beat the last all-time high. Since it's believed that Elon Musk is the big influencer of Dog Coin, he can actually come up with any information that can just make the price skyrocket.

928
In my opinion, I don't think there is really any special difference between investing in old and new tokens because there is a chance that if you invest in new coins, they could still become shitcoins in no time or generate a huge profit if, luckily, they get pumped. The same can also happen if you invest in old coins. I think it's better to do proper research on any project you want to invest in. Whether an old or new coin, make sure to study the project, and if you think it's really worth investing in, you can invest in the coin.

My country is a crypto-friendly place, and as a matter of fact, the government didn't really pay any serious attention to crypto investors; every investor is at their own risk. In my country, there are a lot of Bitcoin investors, traders, and also most investors who are lovers of altcoins, and they usually buy low to sell high and make a cool profit. Cryptocurrencies have actually made some people increase their wealth because they invested in Bitcoin and some other altcoins that were able to give them a huge profit. As a matter of fact, during the first pump of Shiba Inu, I know of two crypto enthusiasts in my country who made a huge profit of more than $50,000. Also, there is a coin with the ticker "CHZ," which my friend made a huge profit from, and other tokens too. Most of these guys who made huge profits from crypto have become wealthier than before.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: wanna invest in Bitcoin, the best time is now
« on: January 14, 2024, 09:55:25 PM »
First you need to make sure how serious you are about your investment and whether you want to invest for the long term. If investing in long term plan then I will tell you every market position is good for investment. You can invest in Bitcoin now if you want and hold your investment for a long time. Or if you have an investment plan such that you will invest for a relatively short period of time and sell your investment when the market rises a bit, you can watch the market and then invest. Bitcoin market is now at $48000 to $43000 where the market has great potential to pump up so if you buy at $43000 then you will have a chance to sell your bitcoin at $48000 again so you can make some profit.

In some cases that I am aware of, most people have always been looking for the right time to invest in Bitcoin, and as they keep waiting for the price to dip, the reverse of their expectations happens as Bitcoin keeps surging high until they have no choice but to even buy at a much higher price than what they would have bought in the early days.

There is an easy strategy, which is the DCA strategy. Any investor who is scared that the price of Bitcoin will dip can just use DCA to buy Bitcoin in fractions at different intervals. It could be weekly or monthly. Using the strategy is better than holding your fiat and waiting for the price to dip.
