Gambling discussion / Re: Do you tell your husband you gamble?
« on: May 06, 2024, 06:35:19 PM »
If you are gambling with you husband's money and have won  a big jackpot then it is most likely that your husband would be happy if you tell him about it. If your family is not financially very well off and you are gambling with your husband's hard earned money and making a big loss then it may ruin your marital life.
Either ways, it's very important to always tell your spouse about how your gambling lifestyle is going, whether or not as a wife you're using your husband's money or from your own personal reserve. This is because, when your spouse is also helping to monitor your gambling lifestyle, it'll reduce the risks of addiction rather than when you're doing it alone without anyone supervising your progress.

Real Madrid have secured the La Liga title this season with a few games in hand, allowing them to at least rest those players who could make a significant contribution in the Champions League matches in the upcoming matches. Important at this time atleast the manager never want any player of their team to get injured because now if any player gets injured it will affect the team badly in the Champions League match. With the La Liga title assured this season, Real Madrid can now fully focus on the Champions League matches.
It's very important for the whole team to be at its peak when going to the Champions League, because any injuries sustained now would really cripple their chances of winning the Champions League. So all the eligible players needs to be really well rested in order to ensure every single person is in their prime to ensure an excellent performance on the Champions League.

I think Liverpool must focus for next season after failure result not winning any trophies yet but get opportunity back to champion league next season, start from looking for new manager after jurgen klopp leaving his position and Liverpool need to buy some top player in defender position.
It is the new coach that is the first thing because he will be the one to decide the players he wants to remain in the club and then make choices for the players he wants to bring in to the club to fit his style of play. If the coach does not settle in quickly and the players adjust to his style, Liverpool can struggle most of the season and may face an early knockout from the Champions League, which they have qualified for.
Yeah the new coach plays one of the most important roles in the team, his ability to settle in rapidly and implement their vision is what will determine how successful the team will be in their endeavours. An effective player management can actually make all the difference towards actualizing a solid starting point to the season and also a deep run to the Champions League.

Gambling discussion / Re: How did the gambling life Start?
« on: May 06, 2024, 06:11:51 PM »
My gambling life basically started in the lottery side, I used to play massive lotteries in the real world. So tell us a detailed story of how you first entered into victory. And at present I am chiefly occupied with cricket, football, and Jackpot, I am present to gamble for a long time without becoming addicted. So how did your gambling life begin?
You must have a high level of discipline to make you gamble for long without getting addicted. I started gambling with friends from high school, rolling dice was the easiest and fastest way to gamble within a short period of time. I can still remember the day that I won my friends money, and I was like am the best, but I lost it all the next day to one of them.
Hahaha welcome to the world of gambling. That sweet feeling of victory can actually make one erase the possibilities of future losses. For a moment you'll think/feel that the victory will continue on and on and on. But like a friend of mine always say, I'm gambling, every new day is a day to be careful and cautious
Just because you were on a winning streak yesterday doesn't mean today would be the same, one should never let his guard down lest he becomes vulnerable and lands himself into deep shit, end up losing everything he's won and even more.

Leverkusen is really a strong club currently and if they can keep up to their performance, I will love to see how far they will go in the Champions League next season. From their outstanding performance, I don't have any option than to accept that they will be the winner of this season Europa Cup. They have already qualify to the finals and just waiting to see who plays with them in the finals.
That's not true.
Leverkusen has only qualified for the semi finals and not the finals. Their last victory was 2:0 against Roma with goals from Florian Wirtz and Robert Andrich, and that was just the first leg of the semi final, they'll be playing Roma once again on the 9th, which is the second leg, so hopefully if they defeat Roma again, they'll then qualify for the finals.

If we make a transaction on Cex and our account is frozen due to suspicion, we should immediately file an appeal. If it's not taken care of. we will lose the account. Actually, I have heard this story several times, my advice is don't make large transactions.
Filing an appeal immediately without delay is the best option in cases like that because delaying the process result in loss of funds as well as your account.
Exchanges are really not the best option when transacting with huge amounts, especially when it's a Centralized Exchange, it's always advisable to use a self custodial wallet when initiating huge transactions to avoid being flagged for money laundering or other reasons.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are you buying now?
« on: May 05, 2024, 08:52:34 PM »
The current market conditions are volatile so investing at this point may seem more risky to many. But this is an opportunity for those who want to take risks. And for those who are following the DCA strategy, this is not an opportunity but a regular job. I think the ones benefiting the most from this bearishness are those who doing DCA. If the market turns bullish again in the next few days or if it takes another 1 month, no problem, the bearish market is acting as an incentive for those who are doing DCA. I am still buying and will continue to do so until the market turns bullish.
I've been doing DCA to buy bitcoin since last year, and currently I'm just buying some potential altcoins from the profits I made when bitcoin reached its ATH at $73K. Maybe many people do the same thing, but there are many different ways they do it.
The DCA strategy is undoubtedly the best approach to employ when it has to do with Bitcoin accumulation, because it gives you the advantage to buy at favourable prices. And it also helps to minimise the tension one was supposed to feel when there's a short-term fluctuation in the market.
But don't you think that 1yr is rather too early to start pulling out your profits... Bitcoin is to be considered a long-term investment and compounding whatever profit you make from your bitcoin investment gives you more advantage to grow your portfolio and also room for higher profitability.

My advice is just be patient. Even though we are in the bullish trend in a higher time frame, there is always a retracement. So if for you we are bullish, we should expect for a downward movement to occur. Sometimes this movement can make you hesitant, so we have to bear in mind that don't sell your asset if this happened because it's normal. And if you have more funds, add more investment. Following these ways can maximize your profit.

People should also learn to differentiate between retracement and when others are selling. There is no point of holding coins from beginning of bull run, have something significant as profit and then didn't sell because you are looking for a particular price. It's better to sell if retracement becomes a constant drop in the price continuesly and by the way, there is nothing bad if you sell your coin if you are in profits, unless you are holding for years.
What you said is actually correct, taking your profile and rebalancing your portfolio when you notice an unusual decline in the market is actually a reasonable approach to avoid losses, but it's not always the best approach in moments like that, investment is not always about taking profits.
Except of course you don't believe in the coin's long-term potential, but if it's a token that has potential for further growth then selling when there's a decline in price is definitely a very wrong approach.

It's wrong for one to use loan money to invest in crypto. Using loan money to invest in crypto, totally means that one knows the future of crypto they are investing into, which can't be possible

I believe that there will be people who are going to invest in crypto with loan money because of the upcoming bull run, but whoever does so, should first think about how much loan they are taking up and the time for the loan to elapse. If it is after 2 years, take up a payable loan and invest in bitcoin and sell off around 2025, but if the loan is within 2 years, it will not be wise to take up loan money to invest in crypto.

I couldn't agreed more.. in crypto, invest in what you can loose..not using loans
I don't support or encourage the use of loan money to invest in crypto. But there might be some people who may have the intuition to invest in crypto despite that, due to what they have heard about the bull run giving many profits to investors who will be investing in bitcoin and some other top coins.
I think it depends on the nature of the loan obtained, the terms of obtainment and also the repayment terms. And also it depends on the kind of coin you intend to purchase or invest in, although even if one eventually decides to go through with investing with loan money, one should always consider the volatility of the crypto market and also weigh the risks involved in crypto investment.
Again, it's advised never to invest what you cannot afford to lose, if the loan money is what you can afford to repay via other revenues, should incase the investment happens to crash or takes longer than anticipated before maturity, you won't get caught in the dilemma.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What tokens are trending?
« on: May 05, 2024, 03:57:07 PM »
The fact that a token is trending doesn't guarantee it's potential for profitability.
We must understand that trends are often driven by variety of factors which includes hypes and speculations, sometimes the hypes couod actually be short-term, and if not cared investors can rush in as a result of FOMO.

And the fact that a token is doing well right now doesn't mean it'll continue in the same trend, it's always essential to apply extreme caution when dealing with altcoins, especially when they are mem coins

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: BENEFITS OF CRYPTOCURRENCY?
« on: May 05, 2024, 03:44:37 PM »
Apart from being a digital asset and a short or long term investment. What are the benefits of crypto for you everyday, do you use to transact in general.
Thanks,
Investment to cryptocurrency some times highly profitable and some times it were loss. But if anyone invest for long time in good currency then he will be profitable i strongly believe it. Some times it profitable for short and some times it profitable for ling time.

You're right.
Like every other investment, cryptocurrency investment carries risks of losses too and that it why it's always advisable to first conduct an extensive research before diving in. A lot of people are inside the crypto space not because they really understand how the market works but because someone else told them that cryptocurrency is very profitable.
Yes it's sure is profitable but only when you really understand how to navigate around the market.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Bitcoin Votality
« on: May 05, 2024, 03:36:51 PM »
Just today morning, I saw bitcoin price was around $69,000 and now its more than $72,000. This shows how volatile and rewarding this market can be. But can someone explain, what caused such a big jump in such a short time and what are the other factors that contribute to the price change?

Bitcoin is a volatile cryptocurrency, you cannot accurately predict on what may comes in after with its market price, there is more that is going to occur along this halving period with bitcoin, we should always expect bitcoin  to perform well and this will only be to the best of of our interest if we had earlier invested in it, when the market rises, we earn through such and make profits on our investment.
A lot of investors are already in deep panic, considering the current market situation, and sometimes I just ask myself whether they really understand the term Volatility and Long-term. Because understanding these two concepts will help anyone understand the market and how it works.
Bitcoin has had more serious DIPs than this in the past, but the most important thing is that it always recovers and establishes new ATHs and this is the most important aspect of Bitcoin.
Again, understanding the fact that Bitcoin is a long-term investment will also make you look beyond the short-term fluctuations and focus more on the long-term trajectory.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Bitcoin or Etherum?
« on: May 05, 2024, 03:31:25 PM »
Actually, to get high and maximum profits, it doesn't depend on which type of asset we maximize, but on the strategy we apply to get the best way to manage and make money.
So if I'm to understand you correctly, you're saying that it doesn't matter if I'm HODLing BTC or TRX, that I'll still maximise profits as long as I have an effective strategy is applied, or is your statement only about/between BTC and ETH?

Exchanges do not offer 100% security, that I'm very much aware of, reputable or not, especially when it's a Centralized Exchange. They may have a level of security, but it doesn't mean that it's 100% secure.
And yeah, you're absolutely right that it's not advisable to HODL your assets on exchanges regardless the security promised by the exchange, one should always apply extreme caution when dealing with matters that concerns finance.

Related to altcoin trading as gambling it depends who does it and how the methods they use.
Trading futures without trading knowledge and just guessing using high leverage is called gambling, because they are just guessing with a higher risk of loss.
You're right at some point, it's true that altcoin trading that's based on proper analysis as well as research and experience can actually give a productive result, but let's not also forget about the fact that even with all the analysis, the research and all the experience, it doesn't eliminate the risks of losses completely from the equation. It doesn't mean that you won't incur losses even with all the experience.
